It's easy to train an employee skills but definitely can't train an employee's attitude. When you're working on the floor, no way you are showing this type of customer service out. As a Relationship Manager, my employee will be out of the door already. So what exactly happened? I have been coming to this staple for color printing a number of times. Right off my head I can count at least 5-7x, for my kid's birthday to my wedding, which is last month, and was less than a month ago. Every time I'm here I don't have much issues and other staffs were pretty friendly and professional. I was always able to use their PrintMe service where I emailed them my file to be printed and I provide my own card stock or labels and they color print that for me. Always in and out within 5-10mins. Then today I was told by an older lady sales associate that there is an express fee if I want that printed right away and the turn around time is 1hr even with that express fee. What?! So I called my husband and see when he's here few wks ago happened to him, like was this always their policy. Both my husband and I have always been printing with no 1hr turn around time and no extra fees being told to us. So I explained that to the lady and ask to speak to the manager about when this started because my last visit was a month ago myself and less than a month ago for my husband. The manager, who was standing on the side talking to another person came over and start off with an attitude already. I told him that I was not told bout this express fee and turn around time. I even told him a month ago I even gave a good rating and review on one of his staff. He asked me who and I pull up the review. Then the manager said "Oh, I know him. I trained him. But he hasn't work here for 5 months now." That moment annoyed me. How are you the manager and lie to me! I told the manager right away that that is not true because I gave this review the day I was here and it was a month a ago only that I reviewed this Staple and that staff. The manager shut up right away and said "Why are you fighting over a few cents?" Excuse me? It's not about that few cents I am disappointed bout. It's your overall attitude and lie and the way you speak to a customer as a freaken manager too! As a Relationship Manger, I have dealt with many many customers because we work on the floor too, but NEVER you present this to any customers when you're representing a company. What a shame! The proper way he should have treated the situation is to hear the customer said, explain the company policy, and waive that this time, and welcome the customer to come back. So next time customer returns, he/she is already aware of this and won't be surprised. His way of behavior just brush the customers off and never want to return back. The manager then tell me I wont charge you the express fee this time, but next time I will and he semi throw the printed card stock paper back to my hands. How rude! I don't know what kind of manner is that. Apparently he wasn't trained at work and wasn't taught at home. Even my 5yo said to me "Mommy why is that boy so mean and not nice." Unbelievable!

I had a bad experience today with Office Depot, I called customer service (SHANTEL)…read more I inquired about a package that was suppost to be delivered today. She ends up keeping me on hold for (1 hour!) when I was trying to get a supervisor. Giving me excuses saying its a 3rd party vendor. Which if OFFICE DEPOT is using this 3rd party vendor its not my concern as a customer. The package is ending up going to a different state, random address. If I didn't reach out to VEYER they were going to send my package to a random address. VEYER chat then stated I am correct it was going to a wrong address by mistake from the shipper. When speaking to VEYER, they said they going to provide a refund for my order and reship it to my correct address. then a few minutes later they said they gave me a "credit" which is different than a "refund" so thats the other issue. He didn't know the difference between the wording (refund vs credit), so i agreed with the credit and proceed with getting my package to my correct address, then I had to waste another hour on the chat getting this sorted. Still hasn't been resolved while writing this post. I wouldn't order anything from OFFICE DEPOT, again or any service that uses VEYER. they are unprofessional and the customer service representative should be held accountable, they want to waste customers time and they are clueless at doing there jobs. -----(round 2), I call today to ask for a supervisor because yesterday they didnt resolve anything on the phone... my package as of now is going to a different address thats not mine. they didnt do anything to cancel that order or provide me a refund now my package is going to another place. The guy ran around and sugar coated and low balled me for $15 for corsair 8gb 4x2 1333mhz ram, A-Data 8GB (4x2) 1600mhz, and I quote from his mouth "A piece of s*** laptop" Asus 2.4gz Intel celeron dual core 4gb of ram and a 256gb crucial solid state drive that I installed in there because my aunt gave me a laptop to repair and I didn't have the proof of purchase for it, but I did for the ram. That's fine. He apparently was getting agitated because I was knowledgable about hardware, and since I'm an Engineer, and have been an IT professional for the past 11 years I was respectful, calm, and strictly doing business about the items I had on hand. I am a customer who actually knows their stuff. I then said, "I know what you're doing - buying this stuff cheap so you can profit from it, and I'm aware and cool with that, but you're talking about a reputation for what? I don't know? All I asked for was an offer that I asked for two times, and you gave me an offer for 15 bucks and being not interested is not clear. Business is not business without going back and forth and working out a deal. That's part of the job. The guy not only disrespected me, he yelled at me, and kicked me out of his non business like shop. I said, "Wow!! You're kicking me out!?" I grabbed my things and then he slammed the door behind me!! I would call you sir, but you're nothing more than a flea. You're a loose cannon and most likely bipolar. Very unprofessional, especially when this guy had a client in the shop while I was in there to witness what happened. I went across the street to the other shop to sell the same items and the computer world shop on street road and both of them were very professional and also said bad things about you and said you've also yelled at them to give you business. This is part of the computer world dude. You fix, you sell, you deal with people giving you business through referrals no matter what it is. Don't be an a**h***!!!
