The cartridge did not fit. I took it back to the store. I told the Tech Manager, Chris, that the store didn't carry the number of my cartridge, and the one sold to me didn't fit. Well, guess what? Turns out I didn't know that the toner cartridge had to be taken out of the old unit holder, and the new cartridge put in. Chris listened to me, looked over the cartridges, explained to me the numbers, and showed me how to remove the old one, and insert the new one. Amazing. Chris was wonderful. I purchased an Asus Laptop several months ago along with the protection plan. Unfortunately I spilled something on my key board and it died. I went back to the store and told them what happened and asked if they could look up my warranty. I was told no. I had to do that I had to do it on line. That was a process in and of itself. After answering ll the questions I was told my protection warranty for that item has been canceled. Great. When I was at the store I did purchase a replacement laptop. Which is a complete POS. Unfortunately I purchased the warranty for this one as well. I cannot take it back because some one threw the box out. I will never buy any electronic item from Office Max Office Depot and other stores owned by the home company. I will however give Micro Center in Mayfield 5 Stars for their product and great warranty including spillage. read more

They moved to a new location right next to the "new" Market District on SOM and now they are losing a lot of buisness. I went there on black friday at 6 when they just opened, and the store was conpletely empty. The employees looked very grumpy and fed up with the very few customers, they all looked like they want to go home. They did not have a lot of stuff in stock that you see on the ads. Worst experience. I went to this store for the first time around Christmas because it was new and had just opened in a plaza I grocery shop at sometimes after my shifts. I work in Solon but live in Parma, and often shopped at the Parma Office Max, but found that store to be old and outdated. The day I went to the Solon store, it was early. There was a cashier, doing nothing behind the counter and two other employees, a younger man and woman, giggling and poking eachother. It was all very unprofessional. I was approached after about 20 minutes, near the furniture, by a man putting away chairs. He was the only person who acknowledged me; I was the only customer in the store. I chose to not buy anything because I was irritated by the lack of professionalism. If you hear employees by the entrance laughing all the way in the back of the store, it leaves a bad taste. On March 13th, I went back to the store for the first time since my poor experience. The doctor I work for sent me there to purchase computer paper. I reluctantly went. I had yet another bad experience. Same as before. The employees didn't seem to care. read more
