I originally stopped into Oh Baby Lingerie as my husband and I walked by one day. It looked like a cute shop. I'm so glad I stopped. Laura assisted me and helped to provide both a revised body measurement for new bras and panties as well as made excellent recommendations of particular brands that would fit my body type. I've been working out and losing weight, so I have since gone into the shop on several occasions to get help updating my body measurements and selecting new bras / panties. Laura is always warm and welcoming to both my husband and I. In addition to both beautiful underwear, sexy lingerie, the shop also has a variety of products to stimulate your play time. The sales associate was super helpful, listening to what I was looking for, and showing me all my options. I was pleasantly surprised that they had so many bras in my size. I bought a gorgeous (and comfortable) set with the cutest detail - a small semi-precious stone heart on both the bra and panty. *insert heart eyes here* And even better, I didn't break the bank. I've walked past "Oh Baby" for years thinking it was a store for mothers with infants. Since that has never been me, totally by choice, I never ventured inside. Recently while searching on yelp for new lingerie stores I learned that "Oh Baby" is really "OH BABY!". The store is small but very classy. Some merchandise is on display but most bras are discreetly tucked in drawers, arranged by size. The ladies working here are very professional and caring. I was informed that they prefer to do an accurate sizing for first time customers who are purchasing a bra. The brands carried here are quality high-end labels. Of course the prices are commensurate with the quality of the merchandise. This store is focused on customer service. You receive attention from start to finish. Oh Baby is classy, not trashy, and for women with a little more "uh-huh" on top, this place is a must. Came to Oh Baby to find some reto inspired lingere for a Pinup Photography session. I am very self conscious of my body and wasn't quite sure of what I wanted, or if I would actually like anything in the shop, but was pleasantly surprised! I'm not super confident about my body, but I had a really good experience at Oh Baby regardless. I didn't know what to even consider or what in what size, and the idea of putting on high-end lingerie that made me feel ridiculous or like a sausage was so, so intimidating. Anna did all the hard work for me. I told her I wanted lingerie and was clueless about what to try, and she picked out all the best hits for me in sizes and proportions that worked for me. She wasn't pushy, was super respectful, and helped me make sure everything fit right. I'm so grateful for the help I received-- it made a process I was dreading kind of fun and exciting. Regarding the price-- if you're busty, the prices for normal, everyday bras are about what you're used to paying. The only difference is you might actually find lingerie here that doesn't squash you, let your tits drop to your belly button and leave you thinking, "well this is good enough *for me*." That privilege comes with a high price tag but, for me at least, it was novel and I trust that with care these items will last a very long time. read more

I was apprehensive about going into their store, because the idea of it was a bit intimidating (lingerie boutique on 23rd Ave)? Walking in, all of my concerns were put at ease. I came in looking for a corset, and I KNEW beforehand (something you ladies need to do, too, in coming here) that it would be spendy. But I was willing to forego that downside, because I knew that whatever it was that I'd be getting would be of the highest quality. Something EVERYONE (wait- I mean, just all of the ladies) needs to do is get fitted properly for lingerie. Not by a super rushed (and super cutesy-wutesy) 23-year-old at Victoria's Secret who pretends that groping your ladies is no big deal, and who tries to use their "expertise" to stuff you into some bra that's too small for you (did you know that there are generic sizes of bras that big chain stores will push off on all of their customers? 32A, 34B, 34 D... You ladies know the drill). I once had a male employee at VS do this, but it's okay; he was gay (or, at least, I think he was...) :[ Anyways, at Oh Baby, I was tended to hand and foot to make sure what I was buying was the PERFECT size for me. And I have to say that I was shocked to discover the first perfectly fitting corset that I've ever owned in my life. Embarrassed that it took me this long to realize that menopause boobs are a thing.

There are so many great things about this store: 1. They carry all the unusual bra sizes (32D, 30E, etc) that are not typically found in chain stores like Victoria's Secret. 2. They are one of the few places in Portland that carry bra/panty sets from the great European companies like Aubade, Chantelle, Simone Perele, etc. These sets are incredibly luxurious and beautiful. 3. The lingerie is amazing and much more unusual than anything you would ever find in another store. I recently bought a French corset along with matching stockings that have delicate little bows on the back of the heel. I do have to admit that the merchandise is rather expensive, but you definitely get what you pay for! read more

I bought a groupon deal almost three years ago, I went in on my lunch break to try to redeem it; this is when I found out that I had been completely misinformed about my bra size (elsewhere) & Chelsea set me straight. Within a few minutes, she had figured out my actual size & brought me a wide variety of beautiful bras; expertly selected allowing for a slight fluctuations within styles & brands. I left with a great bra & panty set that I still wear today. Since then, I don't think I've purchased a single bra anywhere else. Every time I go in, each of the ladies somehow know exactly what to bring me, how to help me with fit, are receptive to my opinions & offer helpful feedback on how things will wear. I'm not particularly modest, but until you let them know you don't mind if they help with opinions or adjustments, they are always respectful of your privacy. Not to mention they recognize me & remember what I like. I don't go in often, but when I do, I'm always thrilled with my experience & leave feeling sexy, usually with some great merchandise. I recommend getting on their mailing list, they have great sales & fun events. Their merchandise isn't cheap, but what you get with spending a little more money is quality & beautiful details make their pieces well worth it in my opinion. I have a challenging fit-circumstance, having survived breast cancer, and am currently battling another form of cancer. Thus, I have this ultra-sexy specialized access port, complete with 6 inches of external tubing that flops about on my chest -just what every girl needs to accessorize when lingerie shopping. I also had a mastectomy, and chose not to have reconstructive surgery; accordingly, I'm flatter than a prepubescent teen. This is my second time visiting this boutique. Both visits have been wonderful! I'm a busty girl and I have difficulty finding bras that fit. My best friend and I stumbled across this sassy little shop a couple of weeks ago. We had a blast shopping for sexy lingerie. I walked out of there with some very unusual bra's. I looked like I walked off the set of Barbarella. The sales woman was so much fun. If we had had a bottle of champagne it would have been perfect. The saleslady (I think she was also the owner) was very helpful in helping me pick out a bra and panty set for Christmas, and explained that even though it was more than 14 days, I could still return it for store credit. This wasn't needed, though; my girlfriend LOVED it. In fact, for her birthday, I decided to scope out Victorias Secret, just to see if there was anything that could compare. I looked for the very most expensive stuff at VC- the craftsmanship was terrible by comparison, cheap- Chinese looking stuff whereas Oh Baby's looks hand-crafted, with immaculate detailing on the stitching. One reason this doesn't get a 5 star rating: after I paid, I wasn't given a bag, which seems like the least you could provide after spending 90 bucks on two pieces. I'm an odd size. For most of my life with boobs I wore the wrong size simply because I couldn't find a small enough band with large enough cup. Everything I had looked sterile at best and the only color choices were nude, beige, or skin tone. I felt matronly and nothing I owned was comfortable. The first time I went to Oh Baby, Anna fit me. She fit me and it was the first real fitting I have ever had that resulted in bra's that fit right off the shelf. When someone at a box store says they'll fit you - they have no clue what they are doing and you should RUN. If you are shy and headed for your first fit at Oh Baby - have a drink before you go or let them pour you some champagne. Take a big sip and then let Anna or any of the super talented ladies at Oh Baby get up in your grill. Your boobs, boyfriend, husband, lady lover, wife, clothing, back, shoulders, and your silhouette will thank you - immensely. After my first fitting - I actually cried because what they had found me was pretty and made me feel young and beautiful. When you go - don't always expect to leave with something because they specialize in having a wide range of styles that all fit differently. It is a boutique, not a never ending Costco, and things sell out. Once they get to know your body and style - they will hunt for you and are always happy to order a size of style. The price of things are higher than a department store, but the quality and beauty of the pieces are not even remotely comparable. I have yet to put a thumb through a side band for two reasons - I never have to tug my bra and the quality is amazing. They also host amazing fashion shows for brides and ladies and I LOVE that they use women who are customers, not professional models.
