That was my first eyelash lifting, and it was extremely disappointing! I came to Lili a couple of days before leaving for my honeymoon in Hawaii, so I hoped to look great even in the swimming pool and not use any mascara. I checked the reviews and picked Yumi Keratin Lift. When I left Lili, my lashes looked really nice, but just 20 minutes later, my lashes curled back into eyelid creases, hurting my skin!!! See the result in the attached photos. I texted Lili about the issue, and she suggested fixing it. Indeed, my lashes don't curl back any longer, but they are terribly messed up. See another pic of the "fixed" result. On top of that, my skin was damaged (even though I have thick, oily, non-sensitive skin), and I had eye puffs for several days after the procedure. So instead of looking great on my honeymoon, I struggled with my skin around the eyes and had to apply mascara even more than I used to. For $200(+tips), I would be better off buying three packs of Tom Ford mascara instead. *Updated in response to Lili's comment: You can only see the final result about an hour after the procedure when your lashes are fully dry. If I had seen the first procedure result immediately, I would have never left without fixing this. And that's not true that I haven't contacted Lili after her unsuccessful attempt to fix her mistake that ruined my lashes. I texted her a couple of hours after my second visit and asked what I could do about this mess. She has NEVER recommended mascara. She advised me to wet my lashes which I did. Lili Mai is amazing!! I have long, straight asian lashes that require multiple passes with an eyelash curler to leave a lasting "crimp" that just disappears after a coat or two of mascara. I had a Wink keratin lash lift (vegan!) that opens up my eyes and leaves a noticeable difference right away. The best part is- no maintenance! All you need to do is keep your lashes dry for 2 days, and you're good to go after that. While extensions are beautiful, I just don't have the patience to maintain them...so lifts are a god send. I've attached a before and after pic & a pic of me wearing mascara (no droopy lashes). Lili's lifts are beautiful and well done. It could be a bit nerve-wracking to put perming chemicals that close to your eye, but knowing Lili was trained by Yumi means you're in safe hands! I'd definitely recommend her expertise

Overall, I'm disappointed. She completely messed up my lashes. I noticed my lashes were sticking to my skin when I got home from my appointment. I tried to gently remove any excess glue with eye make-up remover, but obviously didn't want to wet my lashes. The question is, why wasn't the excess glue removed in the first place? Also, the lashes are curling back into themselves, which was specifically something I asked to avoid. I've only ever had positive lash lift results in the past. This was my first time trying Oh Mai Lash and I won't be returning. I appreciate the owner refunding me. However, I feel it's important to include my review and photo results for potential customers.

I think I have maybe gotten my lashes done at at least 15 different lash extension salons over the past couple of years. So for me to be impressed, it would have to be pretty spectacular. And let me tell you, Oh Mai Lash WAS spectacular. I thought I was my own expert, I thought I knew lashes! I told Lili when I was booked that I needed a certain set of lashes with these certain lengths, because I've gone through so many and thought that looked the best on me. Little did I know the changes she suggested I made on my lashes would change the way I look at my lashes forever. PROFESSIONALS. KNOW. BEST. Honestly they've seen so many lashes and faces that they'd know in an instant what kind you need and that's what Lili did for me. It was such a humbling experience and one that I won't ever forget! I have a stackful of her business cards in my bag in case any one of my friends need her lash-pertise! 10/10 recommend Lili!!

I had the wonderful opportunity to meet Lili and have her treat my lashes with the YUMI Lashes Keratin Lash Lift. This is the first time I've ever had any professional semi-permanent treatment done for my lashes and I could not have been happier with the results! An allergic reaction does NOT create perfect lines of raw skin!

My appointment was for a Yumi Lash lift and brow lamination. Day of my appointment Lilli texts me asking me if I could come in at 11:00 instead of my original appointment at 11:30. As per instructions I text her when I get there and she tells me she's running 5 min behind. Fast forward to 11:16 and she's finally ready. Then she doesn't even address or apologize for changing appointment times just to make me wait in my car, just later informs me she was running errands. During my appointment she was quite vigorous while removing the glue from my brows, continuing to brush them back and forth in the opposite direction. I actually have what looks like little raw abrasions. Lilli claims this is an allergic reaction however I wasn't aware an allergic reaction causes small abrasions where skin is actually removed and it is painful. Now on to my lashes, I have glue on my eyelid and on the left corner of my eyelid I had some little lashes clumped together with glue that I had to try and separate but because of the no product or water around the eyelid for 48hr rule I'm not even sure how I'm suppose to remove it! I just have these weird creases and flakes from the glue. So frustrating! My mom gets both of these things done all the time and she has never had to remove the glue off of her eyelid after an appointment. I texted Lilli and informed her about what was going on with my brows, she offered a refund for the brow lamination but honestly that is not good enough! I don't know if I met Lilli on an off day but I feel she rushed through my appointment and I did not get anywhere near the same experience as these other reviewers seem to have had, therefore for the first time ever I felt I needed to write a review. * In response to owners reply* As I appreciate your need to defend yourself and your business, I must clarify that you did not give me any instructions as far as removing glue from the lash lift. You said if there is any remaining glue on your eyebrows you can use castor oil to remove it and then I said okay. Then you asked me what oils I had at home and I told you castor, grape seed, and olive. You said the castor would work just fine. Again, you never mentioned there would be remaining glue on my eyelashes/eyelids and certainly not eyelashes stuck together or on my skin. I was being generous in saying 11:16 because if you remember correctly at 11:16 is when I sent you the text letting you know I was in the waiting area. The reason I had to send you a text letting you know I was in the waiting area to begin with is because at 11:11 you texted "Ready in 2 min". After 2 minutes went by I wasn't sure if you expected me to just know to come inside? So I went inside after hearing nothing from you. At 11:16 I let you know I was inside and it wasn't actually until around 11:19 that you came out to get me from the waiting area. The reason I know that time specifically is because I took a before photo of my brows and eyelashes while waiting and it's time says 11:19. I wouldn't have cared waiting 15 minutes but the fact is you changed my time from 11:30 to 11 to just make me wait about 20 minutes all together. You tried to say it was an allergic reaction, all I had to say was I wasn't aware an allergic reaction caused skin to remove itself for you to then take responsibility for your actions. If it makes you feel better I apologize for using the word "claimed". I wish you'd put my replies in your response because then people would also know that brow hair also fell out. * My brows are finally starting to heal, scabs are no longer itchy and flaky. Some lower lashes are going upward causing my lashes to get stuck to the top ones when I wear mascara. This was suppose to make my mornings easier to get up and go and it has only made things harder. This was my experience, obviously this doesn't seem typical based on her reviews and this is what leads me to believe my service was rushed. *

Wow where to start?! Lili is simply incredible! This was my first time ever having a lash lift. I have very coarse lashes that are very hard to manage. They are often tangled and hard to separate. I actually already have very curly lashes but because they are so wild I really wanted something to tame them. I am simply amazed and taken a back by how beautiful of a job Lili did. I went with tiki lash lift and now not only am I incredibly happy with the results, Lili is an amazingly sweet, lovely down to earth woman. I am so glad to have had the pleasure of meeting. her! She was extremely accommodating in my situation and drove an hour and a half just to do my lashes. I never envisioned having such beautiful lashes and thanks to her I can bat them with confidence! There are few places in the Bay Area that do brow laminations and I am so glad to have found Lili. Upon entering, Lili was mindful of following COVID protocol (masks worn, temperature taken and sanitizer given). The entire lamination process took about an hour. Chatting with Lili felt like I was catching up with an old friend (even though this was the first time we had met). She was so personable and laid back, while still maintaining professionalism. I was nervous about the results of my brow lamination (I am a tad obsessive about my brows), but I am SO SO happy that I did it. My brows are full, perfectly shaped, and symmetrical. Just wow! I found this place on yelp and so happy with my choice. The main reason why I wanted my lashes lifted was because my lashes were growing downwards and it would bother my eyes sometimes. So happy I picked Oh Mai Lash. Very professional and talked me through everything she was doing and she made me feel super comfortable. It is pricy to get your lashes lifted but to me, the results that I got was worth every penny. I would recommend this place to anyone! Excellent service, cleanliness and location! I came in not really expecting much, I had tried a lash lift before and it just didn't work for my completely straight and stubborn lashes. But Lili and her treatment definitely changed my mind on the matter! In only about 10 minutes total, my eyelashes went from straight and seemingly short to curled and now look so long! It has been almost a week since I got them done and they still look like the day I got it! Lili was really calm, genuine, and so gentle throughout the entire process. I'm not a fan of putting on mascara because 1. I'm too lazy, and 2. It tends to rip my eyelashes out when I take the mascara off. I've been looking for a low maintenance way to have that "no makeup" makeup look so I don't have to use mascara and this was exactly what I wanted! The YUMI lash lift + tint looks so natural, it's perfect for an every day look. Lilly did such a great job and was great company while we waited for everything set :) She also customized the color of the tint for me (dark brown since I have lighter hair/skin and wanted that natural look). Lili took care of my brows and did a lash and I love them SO much! I've always had a hard time doing my brows and thanks to Lili's work they now look great with little to no effort. My lashes also look great even without mascara. Lillie is super professional, thorough, and informative. She was great about answering any questions I had. Her studio is super cute, comfortable, and clean. I was concerned about being able to stay still during the treatment, but the whole process was so comfortable and relaxing--it felt like a spa treatment. I went to Lili for a Lash Lift and color on the recommendation of a friend. She did a fantastic job on my lashes! I have very blond eyelashes and feel weird going anywhere without mascara, but I hate taking the time to put some on. My lashes now look like I'm wearing makeup without the hassle. I was/am shocked by how good they look! I am sort of OCD about things looking perfect and she took the time to make sure each of my lashes was in the right place before she curled them, so there aren't any wonky ones sticking out funny. I really appreciate that. Also, I'm really picky about what I put near my eyes because you can't replace those! Lili's Yumi method is very safe. I was delighted to learn that she does all sorts of research about the products she uses and tries to find the most natural and safe products and that she has had special training on how to use them. I went to get my eye brows redone and I have to say this was the best experience I have had. Lili is such a awesome and patient person. She is very skilled at what she does and I can't say enough about her. Lili will help you pick a color and style suitable for you, if you don't know what you want. Beyond happy with my lashes by Lili! Today I went with a classic set of lashes and they are truly perfect! Her space is so cute, extremely well kept [clean] and very comfortable. I came in looking to get an Elleebana lift, but Lili recommended I get the Yumi lift since my lashes are thick and stubborn. She was so patient and descriptive, providing a thorough run-down of what was going on. The problems began when I got on the table. It was really cold in the room. I guess I expected the table and blankets to be warm considering it was snowing outside. When she started the facial, I just felt she had little to no experience in what she was doing. I have had many facials, and this was by far the worst I've ever experienced. I couldn't even relax and enjoy it because it was so bad. She was also wearing gloves that were too big for her hands, and it just felt so bad on my face. I've never had a facial where the esthetician wore gloves. I am an ER nurse, and I haven't had a facial in over a year. I was really looking forward to this. For a $155.00 facial, my expectations were high. I booked the Custom Facial online and the description I copy pasted below from Vagaro. Custom Facial $155.00 Our Custom 60 min Facial with L.E.D. is a tailored experience designed to address your unique skin concerns. Our skilled estheticians will assess your complexion and create a personalized treatment plan just for you, this facial is all about catering to your specific needs. Walk out with a happy glow that is uniquely. Book Now The facial started at 2:50pm and ended at 3:30pm. That was only 40 minutes, not 60 minutes in the description. There was no LED. There was no assessment of my complexion to create a personalized treatment plan. She didn't talk to me at all during the facial. There were a few extractions which she mostly just concentrated on my nose. I felt she was distracted or something. There was no pressure at all used when she was trying to massage my shoulders. It felt awful. I literally couldn't wait for it to be over. I felt ripped off to be honest. I would not recommend this spa to anyone after my experience.

I went to see Lili for my first lash lift after a friend recommended her to me, and I'm so glad I discovered Oh Mai Lash!! This was the first time I've had anything done to my lashes, so I was nervous going into the appointment, but Lili was very gentle and made sure I was comfortable the entire time. I have texted her about this (see photo) and her response was "unfortunately there are not many people who can have a cut that is layered, thick and course, well-blended, air-dried, kinked from a ponytail and not freshly brushed and still look great." (My hair had been brushed before I took the photos and had not been in a pony tail, not to mention the fact that previous stylists have been able to make my hair look great.) I asked for a refund. She refused saying I had to give her a chance to "stand by her work" and let her try to fix this. I refused - for obvious reasons. I also discovered that she charged me for my generous (and much regretted) 30% tip based on the cut PLUS merchandise (see photo). When I brought this to her attention she said that's the way SQUARE calculates tips, and if I'd wanted to know how the calculation was being performed I should have asked! I asked her to refund at least the tip since I am clearly not happy. She also refused. So much for standing by your work. Finally after several exchanges she decided to refund only the portion of the tip calculated on the cost of merchandise since there was "some confusion." Luckily I was able to have most of the damage repaired by a competent stylist, though it will take some time for the damage to completely grow out. The stylist who fixed my hair said the cut Amber gave me was "objectively bad," and it looked like she either didn't know what she was doing or didn't care. Either way, buyer beware.
