I had to respond to that 3-star review because it couldn't be further from reality. I've ordered from Oh My Pavlova for years including my husband's retirement party and she never disappoints. Every pavlova is flawless: crisp on the outside, light and airy inside, with fresh, perfectly balanced flavors. Calling her work "basic" says more about the reviewer's taste than the product. Pavlova isn't supposed to be overly sweet, it's refined, elegant, and takes real skill to get right. For those who know quality, Oh My Pavlova is the standard. Oh My Pavlova truly lives up to its name! This was hands down one of the best pavlova cakes we've ever had. The meringue was perfectly crisp on the outside and soft and fluffy on the inside -- just how it should be. The toppings were fresh and beautifully balanced, not overly sweet, and the presentation was stunning. Everyone absolutely devoured it -- there wasn't a single crumb left! I normally get my pavlova from a place in Key Biscayne but didn't want to take the trip then I found Oh My Pavlova. It didn't come close. For the cost it was NOTHING spectacular. The merengue was perfect, held up well and didn't get soggy. BUT, It was basic to say the least. Something I could've done myself. The strawberries had no flavor, No sweetness, they were hard, not juicy at all. I was sadly disappointed. For those NOT familiar it'll be good but those very familiar with Pavlova you will be disappointed. Sprinkling a lil powdered sugar will help the taste. While I will agree that all pavlovas are different, flavorless, & sweetness are lacking here which is why I gave it 3 stars. I will say the presentation was nice. The owner is also very nice and answered all questions, and texts and was very professional and timely with the pavlova. read more

The staff make you feel at home the moment you walk onto the property. I say property because it is much more than a restaurant. It is a gorgeous courtyard, multiple bars, a huge dining room. It's one of the most unique layouts I've seen and it creates the foundation for an incredible experience. Our reservation was 8:30pm on a Sunday and it was packed. There was not a single open table. We left around 11pm and still, totally packed. Sunny's is a hot restaurant - anytime, any day they are booked solid. The food is incredible. We started with the raw bar and had oysters, scallops, hamachi, and razor clams. The raw razor clams were the best I've ever had. The scallop with the salsa verde.... Wow. Amazing bites. We got the sausage filled with Comte cheese. This is one of the best items on the menu. Must order. We ordered the agnolotti and cavatelli. The duck cavatelli is an excellent pasta dish. The crab agnolotti is one of the best pasta dishes I've ever had, if not the best (contenders are Torrisi and Lilia so you know I know). When you bite into the agnolotti, it bursts like a soup dumpling filled with rich corn butter and cream. It's quite literally magical. You have to appreciate the genius and talent that went into this dish. We finished with the hanger steak - perfectly cooked and seasoned. We enjoyed it with potato butter and green peppercorn sauce. We also got the fries. A perfect, golden, crispy fry dipped into the potato butter as an experience on its own. Our dinner ended with the kouign Amann ice cream sandwich. A must order if your second stomach can handle it. Not sure if I've used the work "spectacular" in any of my Yelp reviews to date, but Sunny's deserves it. A night to remember!

If it's your last morning before heading home, that may not fit your schedule, but I can honestly say it's worth the wait. I ordered the pavlova for my birthday and it was truly the star of the table. Out of the four cakes we had, it was the very first to go. Everyone loved it! The meringue was perfectly crisp on the outside and soft and marshmallowy inside, the cream was light and fresh, and the fruit was beautifully sweet and vibrant. Not only did it look stunning, but it tasted even better. You could tell it was made with so much care and quality ingredients. It made my birthday feel extra special and I'll definitely be ordering again. A 10/10 dessert that impressed everyone! read more
