Pretty good gelato spot central in Mary Brickell. Pricer side for what you get. I got a medium, which was pretty small for about $12. Cold after dinner sorbet still hit the spot while on a summer stroll. The cup didn't last long even with the comically small spoon they give you. Few bites. I appreciated that they had a few decent vegan flavors to choose from. The chocolate was great and the others didn't feel overly sweet nor lacking. Casual take out spot. It's in a great walkable location, so the line was forming. It's over priced for what you're getting tbh, but it's in the right place and it's pretty good. On the right night, I can see myself going back.... Just wish they were a bit more generous with the scoops or shaved the price down a bit. To be fair, this may be an industry wide issue recently. I'm noticing a lot of restaurants having trouble striking that right value for the customer this summer :( read more

Finally got my hands on this gelato and it didn't disappoint. I fear this may become my new obsession and it with being a short walking distance everyday I may feed into that craving. The gelato is just that good. Scary good. Also the service was great being helped by Ricardo, he's so sweet. He offered to take our picture when he saw us struggling and just had the best attitude. I love that it's also next to a little greenery area so it feels like a little piece away from the city but right in the center. All in all, I love it here and I will be back all the time! read more

After a disappointing dinner, stopping next door for pistachio gelato turned the evening around completely. It was the kind of spontaneous dessert decision that truly paid off. Very friendly staff who patiently let us try their different flavors. I personally enjoyed their yogurt gelato, which tasted exactly like yogurt. I ended up getting their pistachio sandwich since they didn't have pistachio gelato at the time of my visit. The pistachio gelato sandwiched between two Oreo-style cookies was exquisitely good. It's such a great combination and the cookie has just the right amount of crunch, chocolatey flavor, and sweetness to complement the nuttiness of the gelato. Chef's kiss all around! The gelato was delicious! I got 3 flavors: hazelnut, white chocolate with hazelnut, and pistachio sorbet ( I know weird but it was my favorite)! Each flavor was so good! The pistachio sorbet was a good mix with strong pistachio and saltiness just like if you were eating roasted pistachio nuts! Plenty of seating outside with bright lights. However, this is the highest priced gelato I've ever gotten - a medium for $11. And beware since it is right in the downtown of Brickell, it's very hard to find parking unless you park in a garage. I wish there are more locations outside of downtown since the location is a hassle just to get to for gelato. read more

This was my second time at RivaReno and I got mixed feelings. In this occasion, I had their mango and double chocolate flavors. The mango was spot on, fruit was coming straight forward and it was creamy as it should be, pretty delicious actually. On the other hand, the double chocolate was average. It was not creamy in my opinion, it was just buttery but not creamy. I know double chocolate flavors are usually made with cocoa that is higher in fat, but this one was really high. My palate was being coated, it was not a good dark chocolate where you keep coming back for more. I should have sticked to the pistachio instead. In terms of pricing, $9+ for a small cup like this one is on the expensive side of things. Yes, I understand the premium because of the area, but I still find it expensive given it is not the best gelato I have had in Miami. I appreciate they allow 2 flavors, some places are firm on a single flavor. All in all, i will get my default flavor next time, pistachio. That one is great. read more

What a darling little gelato spot in the heart of Mary Brickell Village! I tried 2 flavors, matcha green tea and pistachio, and both were delicious, nutty and flavorful without being too sweet. Tastes like premium quality ingredients. The ambiance is also sweet and comfy. I sat both inside and outside under the umbrellas and enjoyed the ambiance. Really, really good. Came on a lark without any hope of dairy free gelato, and wowza, was I wrong and in for a treat!! Hubby got the strawberry mascarpone (full moo juice) and I got a small with dairy free coconut and dairy free mango. We both were blown away by the taste and quality. The woman working was precise, but not personal. There's no seating inside, but heck, it's Miami. And even in late December, we could sit outside easily. And with a few more days in town, we will be back. Look for it tucked behind the Starbucks across from Shake Shack. read more

Came in on a weekend and there was no wait time, the place had a few people inside but nothing crazy. The girl at the front desk was nice and offered to have us taste as many flavors as we wanted. It is busy and the shop is small, so expect a line and expect to eat standing or perched on the window bench. Prices run about seven to eleven bucks a cup depending on size, but taxes are included in the sticker (rare and appreciated, no surprise math at the register). Cash and Apple Pay both work. Pro move: grab your cup, walk thirty seconds to Domino Park, and eat it watching the old timers slap dominoes. That combo is peak Little Havana. Prior to coming to the spot we had a dinner at a steakhouse nearby. Afterwards I was craving for something sweet and while wondering around the area, I found this gem. I really appreciate that they keep their gelato covered in traditional metal tabs as it shows they care about keeping it fresh. I get the pistachio and the texture was super smooth without being overly sweet or heavy. It was the perfect light dessert after a big dinner. Great spot, and friendly service. read more
