This review is ONLY regarding the gluten-free and vegan options. The regular donuts are fine! I was told they do not have vegan donuts, period. They do have 2 vegan ice cream choices, but i did not try. They have a gluten-free donut, but they are small er than the regular donuts. I would NOT recommend for GF or vegan donut options. Parlor donuts is the joint for Gluten-free, dairy-free and even keto. To the business owner: The very first thing I asked the young lady at the counter was if you had vegan donuts, and SHE said YES. We went back and forth and back and forth and she said she would ask but turned back around and said she was confused and there were no vegan donuts. Hence in my review I said they have no vegan Donuts period. I plainly said in my review this was only concerning GF and vegan and stated they have vegan ice cream options and stated, but I did not try. You can't tell a reviewer how to review the products. I did not at all mention the service, but now that you want to open that can of worms, the service is lacking, and apparently, it's from the top down. I never said you claimed to have vegan. I am reviewing and directing my comments to those who are looking for GF and vegan options. My review stands!

These donuts were delicious! When we went in, the person working there was patient and kind, and we didn't feel rushed in making our selections. My favorite was lemon raspberry, and my kids seemed to really like fruity pebbles (of course!) and the chocolate. Our donuts were ready quickly and were delicious.

What a great spot in the neighborhood! I was pleasantly surprised by all the customizable options as well as the specialty donuts they had on the menu. Since it was my first visit I went with a specialty donut and one seasonal donut, but I preferred the specialty option (a blueberry cheesecake). They were both made fresh to order which was incredible. I was also pleasantly surprised by the size and quality of donut for the price. We found a picnic table right outside the store in a grassy area and enjoyed our donuts outside. I will definitely keep this place in mind for a future dessert or morning treat!

I finally made it to Ohana and I was pleasantly surprised. The tiny shop was decorated with a beach vibe. I normally don't like cake donuts but since they were fresh out of the fryer, they were so good. I placed an online mobile order and it was ready right when I got there. My only complaint is that my vanilla latte as not very good, it didn't have much flavor. Also since I ordered a big box of donuts and they are fresh, some of the glaze started to melt off by the time I took them home.

4 stars. Solid cake donut... and that means A-LOT coming from someone who believes yeast reigns supreme. You know it's good when you can eat one plain - no frosting, no toppings, just donut. It's got just the right amount of sweetness. Now, they lost half a star because the plain ones cost the same as the fully loaded ones. Why, Ohana? And the ice cream is pricey, too. Definitely not a low-cost treat option, but what is right now? The breakfast sandwich is really tasty, but they only have American cheese. This item could be elevated by offering a natural cheese option, preferably cheddar. Service is great. They greet customers with a smile as they enter and a friendly 'thank you for coming in' as they leave. That kinda stuff is important to me. WiFi here is solid - it's becoming one of my preferred spots when I need a change of scenery from my home office. And it's locally owned!

I only got 4 donuts but the box was super heavy because these boys are loaded. Soooooo fresh and tasty. Finally a donut place with very creative flavor combinations I haven't seen elsewhere. They taste better than they look (they had to survive the drive), and the customer service was awesome. The puppy chow donut is just??? Everything I ever wanted. Definitely recommend.

First thoughts...super disorganized. Lots of young people working I guess it was controlled chaos. The dounut board with the shelf : there isn't any signage to say what you are suppose to do. A few sheets of paper laying on the shelf and a bowl of pencils. We didn't notice it till we actually already ordered. Dole whip was exactly like what we had at The Dole Plantation in Hawaii. Tasted like a fresh pineapple. Maple bacon breakfast sandwich. I should have gone without the maple drizzle. It put way too much sweentness on top. The bacon on top was great and the dounut itself was not overly sweet. It is a good size for a sandwich. It could have been hotter. We got two dounuts. One with vanilla icing with oreo and one with chocolate icing with chocolate sprinkles. I shouldn't have left this decision to my husband because he will always go for something chocolate. The dounuts alone were good totally different texture than the typical cake dounut. The toppings do add the sweetness the dounut lacks alone. I'd get something other than chocolate next time. Young man working was very friendly and engaging with the customers. I think he is part of the family that owns the shop. I do have one concern if you have nut allergies. The toppings were in open square containers right next to each other on a counter behind the cashier/display. Last thought. The sidewalk outside the store front could use a power washing and some sprucing up.

Usually I have an good experience here but today I got my smoothie and the lady did not put strawberry in it only peach, then while I was drinking it I kept tasting pieces of plastic in it after every sip, there was also something black in my smoothie as well.

Sometimes I'll grab donuts for my crew at work, so I decided to get some from far away. This place seemed to have good reviews and great options. I've had many donuts in my time but nothing like this. The inside was modern and comfortable with ice cream, coffee, and donuts. What's not to like? I ordered 8 donuts of varying selection. Based on my coworkers reactions, these are some of the best donuts they have had IN THEIR LIFE. I agree with them. I'd recommend these donuts to anyone passing through Fishers.

Ordered a couple dozen donuts to take into work and these were a HUGE hit! There are so many possibilities I asked them to just give me an assortment and you can tell by the picture they did and amazing job! I swear these are some of the best cake donuts around. Make sure you have a fresh hot cup of coffee or some milk on hand though, these little guys are rich, but oh so good!

Family and I went to Ohana's for a mid day snack. There was a small line but the employees did their best to make sure everyone felt welcomed and understood all the different options on their menu. We ordered their breakfast sandwich with bacon and all the fixing, a dole whip float, dole whip ice cream, and a donut sundae. All were a huge hit with my family. My kids were devoured their treats and they split the breakfast sandwich. The only time I've had Dole Whip is when we are visiting the Disney Parks, the version that Ohana makes is on par with Disney's DW. My son was asking for more treats to eat on the road . Overall, it was a great experience, can't wait to go back and try other items on their menu.

Looking for fun donuts? You've come to the right place! Ohanalulu has several different icing flavors and toppings like cereal and candy that you can mix and match in several different delicious combinations. The base donuts are great too--they're cake donuts which adds to the overall mouthfeel. They're not just a donut place--they have several ice cream flavors and also serve dole whips (like at Disney!). One of my favorite local pizza places, Passione, is also around the corner. This would be a good dessert option after dinner there!

A few weeks ago I wrote a review of Rise and Roll, another donut shop in the area. Rise and Roll has fantastic yeast donuts, but no cake donuts. Ohana fills that hole with the best cake donuts around. Previously I was partial to Taylor's, however Ohana's donuts have a slightly crisp exterior and a moist interior. Perfect! The frosting and toppings are not just sugar like many donut places but have amazing flavor. Definitely worth the trip to Ohana. read more

This was our favorite donut place. The last 3 times my family and I have been it has been AWFUL. We have been loyal customers since they came to fishers so this is shocking to us. Tonight my friends and I walked in and the workers visibly and audibly complained about 6 people in line. We then received cold donuts. This has happened the 2 prior times as well. Omg!?!? Who in the world would have though that donuts would make great book ends for a breakfast sandwich!!?!? I'll admit, I walked in and was very skeptical. When I arrived , I was greeted by a sweet aroma of warm sugar and 2 pleasant staff members. The young lady at the register checked me in and help me decide on my breakfast sandwich. I went with the bacon and egg and all the toppings that went with it. I also opted for the pineapple dole whip which I started while waiting. The pineapple flavor was refreshing and tasty. I tried to eat it all before I got to the car so I wouldn't have to share with the kids but was greater with a brain freeze. When my order was ready, I took it to go and enjoyed it at home. The combination of flavors were paired well together. It was savory and sweet, but not overwhelming. There were a few basic tables in the sitting areas with several chairs surrounding them. Wanted to try these out after hearing about it in the paper. Cake donuts made with whatever icing AND toppings you would like. Very very good. Went at 4 pm. Icings were not hot enough and went on too thick , but that did not stop me from eating the entire chocolate icing/chocolate sprinkle donut. Service a bit slow, but I just don't think they expect that many people at 4pm in the afternoon. If you have ever had Duck donuts it's same thing, but Ohana has ginormous ice cream Sundays too. read more

These donuts are AMAZING. The actual donut is super good, with the edges being almost crispy. You can choose just about any toppings you want too. What's also cool is if you have kids, you can go over and stand and watch them make the donuts for you. Inside is also nice and relaxed. Oooooooh man do we love O'Hana! This place makes our favorite cake donuts and has some of the best ice cream ever! The ice cream is not made at O'Hana but is made locally (I think by Sundae's). If you live in the Fishers area you have to try both. We usually order donuts ahead online on a weekend morning and then do curbside pickup. Sooo tasty. Our favorite ice creams are O'Hana Trax and Graham Central Station. I like to support local businesses whenever possible, so I bought my son's teachers O'Hana gift cards for an end of the year thank you gift this year. read more

What a find! We ordered through their mobile site for curbside pickup (because coronavirus) and it was ready for pickup just two minutes after ordering. The order included a maple bacon doughnut, a Fruity Pebbles doughnut and a Dole Whip. If you're a maple bacon fan, this will become your new favorite. We were in the neighborhood and were looking for ice cream when we found this little gem on Yelp. We ended up getting both ice cream and donuts. The custom donuts made right there in front of us were delicious - none of the greasy and sickeningly sugary after taste donuts usually leave. The base donuts are made fresh and would be delicious without any toppings! What a fun, scrumptious way to personal your donuts with great topping options. I had a chocolate iced, chocolate chip one and a lemon iced with raspberry drizzle one... these melt in your mouth! It was early in the morning so I did not try out the ice cream yet... but I'll definitely do that soon! If you plan to order a dozen or more. I would suggest placing your order on the phone (I'm not sure if there's an online opton yet) to reduce the wait-time. Don't get me wrong, they are totally worth the wait just a good to know if you're in a time crunch! Also, the parking is very limited but there's nothing they can do about that, but again they are well worth the walk (and a walking may be necessary depending how many you eat ;) ) I ate these too fast to take any pictures... next time!!! Definitely check this place out! read more

We recently moved out of the Sandstone neighborhood and are so disappointed this didn't exist while we lived so close! What a fun local spot to treat our family to delicious donuts ( our kids loved the customization option ), ice cream, and really fantastic coffee. Established in 2020.

Ohana Donuts & Ice Cream opened in February 2020 and was born out of a love for the amazing Hawaiian islands and all things sweet. We re-branded as Ohanalulu in July 2022. Owner Nate Haugh first visited Hawaii with his family back in 1990 when he was 13 years old. The Haugh family quickly fell in love with the unique culture, beauty, and perfect weather of Hawaii life. They would return several times throughout Nate's high school and college years. The Haughs also love donuts and ice cream...almost as much as they love Hawaii! After years of dreaming and many prayers, the concept of "Ohana" was born and put into motion. Ohana means "family" in the Hawaiian language, but in a broader sense, it means COMMUNITY. The Haugh family hopes to share the essence and spirit of OHANA with the central Indiana community through a unique and family-friendly experience. Aloha and welcome to Ohanalulu!

Meet the Business Owner: Nate H.

Have you met our friend, Nate? Nate (and his wife, Katy) is our owner and the one with the huge sweet tooth that developed the idea of combining donuts and ice cream. Nate and his wife both grew up in northern Indiana and attended Wawasee High School. Nate graduated from Purdue in 1999 with a degree in hospitality management and has been in the food service industry for the past 20 years. Faith and family are the two most important aspects of Nate's life, with donuts being a close third. The Haugh family attends Northview Church's Anderson campus and are active in their community. Nate and Katy have three children and live in the Pendleton area. Athletics certainly keep the Haugh family busy. Although they enjoy attending professional, college and local sporting events, Nate and Katy's favorite sports to watch are the ones their kids are playing. You can find them at the ballpark almost daily in the spring and summer months.

While the others do offer sit-down dining, especially Parlor, Carl's feels like a smalltown donut joint with its simple but pleasant decor, lower pricing, and comfortable but pleasing service. Carl's Donuts & Bakery is a locally owned donut shop (Pana is also locally owned, though a growing chain). Carl's also doubles as a cafe and also serves other breakfast items alongside its donuts. The major plus to this approach for a guy like me is that fountain drinks are available including iced tea. I'm constantly dismayed how hard it is to get iced tea in donut shops. I was dismayed to read Jen F's review noting poor customer service as my experience was quite the opposite with customer service being a key strength. The basics: Carl's is located in what looks like a small office complex with a mix of retail and personal service type businesses. It's toward the back. There's some accessible parking and appropriate curb cuts. There's a double entry with glass doors that were pretty easy to manage. As you enter, a dining area is directly to the front of you and to the right side. To the left is the ordering area - I think I goofed up at entry - you begin toward the back and then exit out the front path. I went in through the front, though there wasn't a line and no one said anything. The employees asked if I was ordering breakfast or donuts. I typically get 2-3 donuts and a drink. I stuck with this plan, however, given the comfy atmosphere opted to dine in. I haven't had much time to rest recently and it was nice to sit down. I felt a little out of place (everyone else was clearly local), though everyone was friendly. I ordered chocolate covered yeast donuts and a fountain unsweetened iced tea. "they didnt make the right things" umm? honestly sounds like the donuts are bought frozen and fried the previous night. ofc thats just a theory but the explanation for not having hardly any donut selection on an early Saturday morning is cause for concern. they should be making donuts all day. service was a little disrespectful too. until deluxe opens, just go to walmart or the gas station.

It's located in Pittsboro not far from 74. Not far from Brownsburg either. The inside is so bright and inviting. Donut lamps, yellow chairs, vintage pictures and a retro stereo with speakers. They had quite a bit of seating and also make fresh coffee drinks. They use a machine that makes the mini donuts right in front of you and then you get to pick what toppings you want. Cinnamon sugar, powdered sugar, different types of glazes. I chose the strawberry one and loved it. They also have donuts and gravy. Yum!!! My coffee was great and they had a nice fancy coffee machine with a grinder and everything! Today I had the privilege of meeting Doug, the owner of Hometown Mini Donuts. Its not often that you can say that. We got to watch as the donuts were made fresh right in front of us, which was a really cool experience for the little one that I Nanny for! The decorations have various sport photos upon the wall as well as a small nod to Doug's wife's Japanese heritage. In speaking with Doug, you'll find him to be a very proud father of each of his grown children and heir accomplishments in life. This is a quiet spot, which would be very nice if you are looking for a place to work remotely or just a place to read! On the menu are so many various options of Donut toppings that you'll definitely need to return time and time again to be able to try them all! I got the Donuts n Gravy and though I was timid about the combination I found it be delicious! For the month of December they are running a special and if you purchase the Donuts n Gravy you'll receive a free cup of coffee! We also purchased Cinnamon and Sugar Donuts and a milk. I spoke with Doug about how his dream came to be and he told me of how when he was small his father would take him to see horses at the State Fair and get him Dinuts and his Mother said that even as a small child he said someday he wanted to make and sell Donuts. He has been running a mobile Donut truck since 2008 and now he has his brick and mortar shop which I hope will grow and prosper for him and his family! Be sure to make the trip and take the time to not only have amazing Donuts, but to also say hi and visit with Doug!

We all had fairly big orders and they did not bat an eye, they answered any and all questions and made us all feel overly welcome. The store is incredibly clean and bright inside with plenty of seating and calm vibes. Now as for the donuts. After only being to the one in Pendleton many years ago before they moved I was a little worried that my memories would not be met. Boy was I wrong. The donuts were absolutely perfect in every single way and prepared right in front of us. There were so many choices but not overwhelming. Truly this was an all around amazing experience and I could not recommend QuackDaddy Donuts more.
