I needed a motorcycle shop to do insurance work on my classic Motto Guzzi Eldorado that was damaged…read morein an accident. I selected Street Riders located near the intersection of Secor near Alexis in Toledo. The insurance estimate provided by Street Riders was for $7000. to locate and replace damaged parts, straighten and repair bent parts, repair damaged front end, paint and reassemble. I delivered the bike to Street Rider in September of 2015. Street Rider took no initiative to locate parts. The project was languishing so I located and purchased the parts and delivered them to Street Rider. Keith Elliot the owner of Street Rider continually told me the project was moving ahead. When I stopped by the shop in the Winter of 2017 the project had stalled again, K. Elliot gave me lame excuses, so I offered to come to the shop and finish it. K.Elliot wouldn't agree to that. In June 2017 Street Rider said they had finished the project and added an additional $4000 to the original $7000 estimate. I had to sue Street Rider to get the motorcycle back. In October of 2017, (over 2 years from the day that I drop the bike off) I picked-up the bike from Street Rider. Upon examination of the motorcycle the front end that was damaged in the accident was never rebuilt and the front forks where never straightened. Street Rider Billed $275 for that. The front fender brace that was damaged in accident was re-chromed was reinstalled bent. To straighten it will break the new chrome. Street Rider used SAE nuts and bolts on a metric motorcycle, extremely poor procedure. I would give Street Rider negative stars if I could.

I used this shop 3 times and each time had an issue…read more First time was for new tires and brakes. For my Triumph Explorer 1250. The Bike came back with the rear tire mounted backwards and on one of the front calipers both bolts were only finger tightened Next time was for a fluids change out of the Triumph Explorer, as well as new tires. This was supposed to take 2 days but took a week. The mechanics had no idea how to change the coolant fluid. They told me I had to find the maintenance manuals for them to do the job. I'm sorry but that's what your job is.. The bike was finally picked up a week later with out the coolant job done. 3rd and final time. I had a repair job for my Thruxton that was laid down. Minor repair work of a scratched tank and a few bolt on items. Mirror, clutch lever, shifter. The clutch wasn't adjusted so the bike wouldn't start (safety sensor) in position 3 or 4 on the clutch lever. The shifter was mounted incorrectly. Lastly the owner talked me into an air injector removal to get more performance. I agreed to do it while the bike was in. The AI removal job was a hack job. He removed the tubes and capped the taps but left the MAF sensors and pump sensor unplugged. This lead to a check engine light on that won't go out. Resistors need to be added for this to be done correctly. Now the Thruxton is at the dealer having the hack work corrected and overall checked over to make sure nothing else was missed. I can't stress enough what a terrible experience this shop has been each time. Malisa can't keep any timelines she promises and is rude. If you want your bike done right the first time Do Not Go Here!
