As someone who graduated once before from a larger college, this campus is underwhelming in regards to amenities. It doesn't offer any on-campus restaurants, has a very small, unimpressive "rec center" and does not have a whole lot of activities going on. While it is a satellite campus, I have been to other satellite campuses and community colleges that offer much more for their students. With that aside, it's a decent school. The professors are more personable than at larger colleges and get to know you by name, as class sizes are much smaller. I have been a student here for prerequisites since Fall 2021 and have enjoyed my time here.

Oberlin College has a proud history of being the first college in America to enroll Black students. It is socially progressive and rigorously academic! The perfect fit for my kid who is pursuing international politics, sociology, and languages. Due to COVID, all students are upgraded to single rooms made out of doubles, so there is a lot of space to live and study. We feel confident with the COVID precautions that Oberlin College is taking this fall. My kid will have 2 in-person classes and 2 remote classes this semester, and we are just hoping for a safe experience. If he has to come home and participate fully remotely, that's fine too. But he is staring this semester on campus and is loving it already! The town of Oberlin is small, tidy, and friendly. There are some shops and restaurants in Oberlin, and many more within an 8-10 mile drive. There is a hospital very near campus, which is vital for us as my kid has a medical condition that occasionally necessitates an ER visit. Greyhound bus goes through a nearby town, making trips home cheap and convenient. Everyone we met was friendly and helpful. My kid is looking forward to a great year ahead.

Ah, Terra State. My home for my final two years of high school. The many fond memories... the…read moremany painful ones... the people... the professors... What an experience. I completed 65 credit hours here while in my last two years of high school. All of the credits transferred to the University of Toledo; although, my program (pharmacy) did not accept all of them. Oh well. It was great to gain college experience while in high school and interact at a college-level with others instead of dealing with high school drama. I'm really glad I had this chance and recommend it to any who also find themselves in a similar situation. The buildings are a bit antiquated, but they serve their purpose. The faculty are very knowledgable, most having their Ph.D.'s. The campus has really come a long way since I started. The outreach within the community is present as well as a nice music program headed up by some talented musicians. I played in the Brass Choir while I was there and had the chance to perform at many venues in Northwest Ohio. I recommend this to anyone in high school looking for college credit, anyone who recently graduated looking to save money, or anyone beyond the intial days of education who are just looking to come back to school again.

I entered Durst Welcome Center to get help leading me to the entrance of Strosacker Hall and the student worker was helpful in directing me at which point I found my friend. I visited Strosacker Hall (Student Union building) which is where the dining hall is. The options for lunch were quite good. I chose rice and beef which came with green and red peppers. I also got apple juice, a cookie, and a small red velvet Bundt cake. I left full and satisfied. My friend enjoys being an undergraduate student here so if you are looking for a small liberal arts University then go and visit the campus of Baldwin Wallace and meet some staff members. We also passed by some of the other buildings that housed classes. One of the buildings has a Starbucks in it. It's also the Amazon hub and right next to Pinball Pete's. It's a huge place with lots of eateries sprinkled in there. The campus is beautiful.

Museums, lecture series and special guest, sporting events, concerts and more! Everyone I have met has been friendly and welcoming. The university is very well maintained, clean and well kept. All of the events that I have attended have been very reasonably priced for admission and or access. And I have felt very safe at every location I have visited on campus.
