Pass this place all the time, never realized you could take electronics here. Drop box out by road, usable all the time, for small stuff. I had printers and a microwave, so I went inside. There are grocery carts to help move bulky stuff. Some things are worth selling, of course, like cans and scrap metal. The rest you can just drop off. Staff were friendly and helpful. Place is clean, for a sort of junkyard. Well organized, signage for what they take and where to put it. Fast, convenient, and I'm sure I'll be back. read more

A friend recommended this place as the company she works for uses it for recycling their electronics. While I was there a woman dropped off her flat screen TV and made a few dollars. I was there to drop off an old SD TV (still working 20 years later but I wanted to stream non-cable content so I replaced it with an HD). There is a $1 charge for every inch so I paid $27 to get rid of the TV. It took 2 people to carry the TV to my car but the gentleman working there did it all by himself. He said he carries enough of them that he's learned a few tricks to carrying them. read more

Site at Nelson Road would not take my LCD monitor for free, and weighed my pc power supplies and PC boards with half of it off scale. When I complained about this I was told to leave. I was treated rudely and I'll never go back. read more

I brought my old Microwave here and received $5.50 as they pay $.10 per pound. They specialize in computers and have a dock in the back for large drop-offs. i think they give $4-5 per monitors as long as they aren't cracked. They pay per pound for everything else. They take almost any electronic as I saw washers, toasters, lawn mowers, and other odd electronics sitting around. The only downside is that they don't give you cash. They only give checks which makes this stop a little time consuming. They have to go in the back and print it. It took about 15 minutes total from the time I came in to the time I left. The place doesn't have AC or public restrooms. This is a great option to help rid someone of electronics. I would wait until I have a few items next time to make it worth it. read more

Very unprofessional, rude staff, long waits, measly payouts. Expect several minutes before anyone even acknowledges that you're standing there. Expect at least 20 minutes for a check to be printed after everything is said and done. Expect the person 'helping' you to drop your work and start working on something else... Expect this several different times throughout the process. And expect to be paid insulting prices. All-in-all, there were no other customers when I walked in. All I had was 100 pounds of circuit boards. Yet from beginning to end, the whole process took 1 hour and 15 minutes, just to be handed a check for $14... And processing the boards took an entire 5 minutes. The rest of that time was spent in WAITING. I was ready at one point to just leave without the check! (Speaking of checks, don't think you can go to the bank and cash it. They put a 24 hour hold on ALL checks!) I will never go back to this place again, and I will be sure to tell of my experience to anyone interested in listening. I had another load of stuff that I was going to bring in, but instead I drove 20 minutes out of my way to dump it in recycling bins. They will never get business from me again. Was recommended this place by my friend to get some cash for my old laptop (i just bought a new one) I decided to do some spring cleaning as well and brought some other old electronics such as a radio,desktop computer and some old cables. All in all i walked out the door with a pretty nice check. Process did take a little bit because they were very busy. Process took about 20 minutes total. I definitely recommend this place to anyone looking to get rid of old electronics and get some money! read more

I go every 6 months or so to recycle electronics. I can't fault them for scrap prices being so low, that's out of their control. However, on two occasions when I've had large loads, they have mis-categorized the scrap and I've been paid less than what I should have. This latest one was 3 laptops: 1 complete, and 2 missing HDs. That's what I told them. At current prices, it should have been 30 cents a pound for the incomplete, and 60 cents a pound for the complete laptop. Instead they gave me 15 cents a pound for "laptop parts (disassembled)", and shorted me around $5. They're friendly enough in there, can't complain about that. read more

Business hours don't reflect actual time of which that the doors/gate is open to customers. They apparently have difficulty understanding Open to the public for business and what their staff hours are. After arriving after their arbitrary time of closure I was told by an employee, "Do you have a phone? You should have called ahead." I didn't bring 200lbs of material to be checked and weighed and would rather not waste my time or needing to call ahead to check if a businesses advertised hours are relevant or true. read more
