Since we are in an odd year, 2025 and my vehicle is an odd year vehicle (2017), I was due for testing. I gladly passed the emissions test and I was given a vehicle inspection report. The report is a sheet of paper that explains the completion of the emissions test. INFO. -- "Every 2 years, all gasoline and diesel vehicles between 6-25 years old and 10,000 pounds or less (gross vehicle weight), are required to be tested. Even year vehicles are tested in even years and odd year vehicles are tested in odd years. Non-plug-in hybrid vehicles start testing at 7 years old." The people on the phone were friendly and setting up an appointment was quick. The service itself was also fast and they let me know that my car was in good shape (except for my tires, which will need to be replaced soon). They even prepped an estimate to give to me at checkout (with no pressure - they just gave it to me and told me what it included and the kind of warranty the tires had with no urging me to make an appointment at the time). They even explained what measure they were using and explained it to me when I asked! Overall very happy!

Another shop corrected what WHAR neglected to do. Never again am I setting my foot in this shop and don't recommend it to anyone. I guess this shop knows how to take advantage of an elderly woman. UPDATE: four months ago (May 2025), this very shop did some work on my car and requested a positive review. I said OK but am unable to post it since I reviewed before and Google won't let me do it again. The shop then sent a link to my phone and I was able to post a positive review from a different gmail address. I am buffled how WHAR even knew my another gmail that I never told them about, and what else they know about me, and how they are going to use this knowledge. We really appreciate their use of technology to communicate with their clients, including photos to confirm any work that they recommend, and the ability to accept/approve or decline items online.
