Nothing against the practice but, Dr Oberoi previously killed my nail matrix while doing a bilateral partial avulsion- saying she would "keep it pretty" and she left me deformed a dead nail that has basically nothing left to it and will not grow because it's dead. I was seen by Dr. Amy Jo Marcano-Reik. I called and got in same day! Receptionist was excellent. The appointment was efficient, and I left feeling better. Dr. Marcano-Reik was interested in hearing my description and even took my opinion into account for treatment. Finally, a Doc with some humility and a spirit of cooperation. Dr. Patel is not good at all. He spent maybe 5 minutes "listening"to my complaint, gave me a boot and brace and ibuprofen, all of which did absolutely nothing to help the issue. He only took 1 X-ray, and had he done the necessary ultrasound, he would have seen the damage to my foot and ankle that required more specialized treatment. On top of being in compassionate, I was told to leave a check in case my insurance was not active. My insurance paid them IN FULL and they still took my check and cashed it illegally. Therefore, Dr. Patel is not only uncaring and uninterested in his patients, he is also a thief and does not deserve to see a patient. Save yourself the aggravation and money and see someone competent. read more

I was nervous about coming in for my procedure, but she explained everything in thorough detail and made sure I was comfortable throughout the whole process.
