He works with a practice -- PreMed which has multiple locations around Dayton, he works 4 days a week in Huber Heights and 1 day a week in Kettering I believe. Not only did I find him very professional --- his whole philosophy is that both the Dr and the parent should be an advocate for the child -- but after deciding to use him he has been great with my daughter. We had some weight issues with her after her birth and he and his staff worked with me to make sure we got her on track. I was there about every 3 days for about the first 3 weeks so I can tell you that all the nurses and staff I saw were great! He even called me on a Saturday to follow up, as I had seen his nurse and not him the previous Wed (and not him)... I was floored! What Dr. calls you at home without you first calling him?!? He is very cautious and will tell you that he leans on being very conservative as he doesn't want to overlook any issues --- and he encourages you to bring a list of questions for him to each appointment. As a new mom this is GREAT for me! I would highly recommend him.

She's patient, she listens, she's non-judgmental (I don't get that a lot as a fat patient) and she's more than willing to work with me on healthcare needs and goals instead of jamming prescriptions and diagnoses down my throat. (Can you tell I've had less than stellar doctors before? XD) The staff, from front desk people to nurses and social workers, is always friendly and professional, they're usually running on time or within perfectly acceptable ranges, and they're even good at drawing blood from my temperamental veins. I'd definitely recommend this place to anyone needing a new primary care person.

I've found it easy to schedule appointments both for sick visits as well as regular check ups. I haven't had the opportunity to see any of the other doctors except over the phone when I've called the on-call doctor. I've found the nurses and office staff to be very helpful and pleasant as well.

Both of my kids went to this group for years. Usually I went to a great nurse practitioner but my…read moreson had severe bleeding so I asked for a doctor because I was scared to death. Long story short after several months of no resolution we asked to go to a GI doctor. Willimitus sent the request but did not send it as a priority so we had 3 months wait to get in. I asked him to resend it as a priority due to the severity of his symptoms but he would not do it. When I called the GI myself trying to get a earlier date they said the pediatrician had to do it. The pediatrician is the only one that can do this and as we learned this would only take a few minutes of his time to complete. After we waited for several weeks because he would not make the phone call to get him in sooner we took him to the ER. The ER nurse calling us with the results got us in at Childrens GI within a week because his results were so bad he needed immediate attention. After this happened we got a new pediatrician and they only asked where to send his file and they never asked why we switched or followed up with us to see what the problem was or how he was doing. Although they did call to ask for the 20 dollars to transfer the records (which I had already paid). My son was living with a severe case of ulcerative colitis and today he no longer has a colon. He went more than several months without being treated although we kept pushing. By the time he was treated he was jaundice, lost 40 pounds, iron deficient going to the restroom at least a dozen times a day. But, Willimitus would never know that because my son was just a number to him. I know now if I would of stayed with the nurse practitioner she would of been on top of it, she would of made sure he was seen by the GI Specialist as a priority. Boy did I make the biggest mistake of my life when I asked for Willimitus.

They really have been so welcoming. Thank you!! Your kindness and understanding really helped me have faith in the medical system. To sum it up, most of the providers are fantastic, the front desk staff is horrendously rude in person and they have treated me harshly time and again. I work at a hospital (I am a healthcare worker) so I feel as though I have a right to express my opinion on how awful they are. Dr Bar Lev is the reason I stay!

I have been to several osteo doctors and have mixed reviews at best of those providers. I have gotten several cortisone shots at this office, by Laura, and have had wonderful results each and every time. The ease in which Laura has given me the injections has made a world of difference in my mobility. She has been able to find the sweet spot in my knee that benefits the most! I am so impressed, minimal pain at injection's site and ease that is optimum for my pain. I can honestly say that this experience with Laura has been the best I have ever had! I'm 67 and have been dealing with an arthritic knee pain at least 10 years, have seen several osteo Drs received cortisone shots that were dang painful and hands down Laura has always gotten the job done for me and with minimal pain involved.
