Complicit in Lead Generation Scams…read more Notus Human Capital (http://www.getnotus.org/) presents itself as a legitimate career services company, but my experience suggests otherwise. After applying for what I now believe was a fake job on Permantech.com, I received a rejection email that copied Notus Human Capital without my consent. The email directed me to contact a Notus representative who offered to "help" me access "unadvertised" job opportunities. This happened to me twice--once in 2016 and again in 2024. Both emails were identical, word-for-word. Despite Notus's public claims of ethical practices and discouraging the sharing of personal information without consent, they continue to accept (and likely pay for) leads generated from scams like those run by Permantech.com. Notus reached out to me, offering their services despite obtaining my contact information without permission. This pattern shows they are not just turning a blind eye but are complicit in these unethical practices. Be cautious if you're contacted by Notus Human Capital, as their involvement with companies running fake job postings raises serious questions about their legitimacy. They will claim to be innocent, as they did in a lengthy reply when another reviewer shared a similar experience; however, given two, nearly identical experiences separated over 8 years I do not believe they are truthful. If they were, they would discourage / not accept such assistance from Permantech.com or others.
