The juice never came, and the burger arrived with lettuce and tomato. The attitude from the staff was not friendly, and even others in line noticed. Great food, but service is part of the experience. One time, my husband and I got the ready made "minestrone", which was a bowl of broken, soggy pasta noodles and broth. Ummmm, that's not minestrone... it's compost. Worst experience was when an employee shamed me for returning an (unused, unopened) item with the receipt. Like, what possibly could have been her problem other than she didn't want to be bothered by me to do her job? But, deep breath, other times it has been a "hit", and for those times I'm thankful. My most recent visit was the other day, with my daughter, as we were just in town for the day, and we wanted to pick up a few things to take with us on our roadtrip. We got a variety of things from organic fruit, to hummus and crackers, to vegan probiotic smoothies, and of course some yummy dark chocolates. The planets were aligned for us on this visit, and we were glad.

It gives you the freedom to taste everything at your own pace. You order the tasting first, then they give you a tray with delicious sourdough bread from a local bakery. The staff explained that the balsamic vinegars are imported, while all of their olive oils are produced in-house, except for the truffle oil since the local soil isn't suitable for growing truffles. After that, you head over to the tasting section where you can grab samplers of the olive oils and balsamic vinegars before finding a seat outside under the olive trees. The space itself is beautiful and peaceful. There were around 10 olive oils and 10 balsamic vinegars to try. My favorites were the TH (Tuscan Herbs) olive oil and the traditional balsamic. The flavored balsamics were interesting and fun to taste, though I still personally preferred the classic options. Overall, such a fun and worthwhile stop if you're in the Ojai area. Paid $20 for two people. Also, bonus points because they happily give extra sourdough bread if you need more :)

We wanted a fun activity and saw an Instagram video of the experience. Overall, the tasting was super fun! Got to mix/match diff oils and vinegars and play around with the options. Ended up buying two of our favorites. One thing to note - They used to have cute wood boards with clear markings of the different types of offerings so that you could keep track more easily and it sounds like from the attendant they are bringing those back again (by popular demand). It certainly would be more aesthetically pleasing than a black plastic cafeteria tray. The bread served on our particular day was also a bit too hard so the inside pieces would crumble a lot. We were able to ask for another piece so that we could use the sturdier outside areas and they were gracious with that. However, for $20 really can't complain! With a few minor updates to the board/bread, they could prob sell this experience for far more $ and get more visitors! :)

However, they had free tastings which made it easier! I ended up opting for the honeycomb crunch. As soon as we paid, my family and I walked around Ojai whilst enjoying the ice cream. It was soooo good. The ice cream was creamy and adorned with crunchy bits of honeycomb. It wasn't too sweet and was gone all too quickly. Overall, Ojai Ice Cream was a quick but delicious visit. It's right in the middle of town which makes for an easy stop whilst in Ojai. Definitely give it a go if you're in the mood for a sweet treat!

She's thoughtful and mindful about the product selections, and she has great taste. The quality of the product is also outstanding. Their oils and balsamic vinegars make the best salad dressings and dipping sauces. Plus, they have exceptional foodstuffs, like pastas, sauces, pesto, tapenade, chips, and more. This time, they also had a sample table with maple syrups from Runamok. They were terrific! Every time I'm here, I spend $100 on delicious things and leave happier than I arrived, so I'm calling that a victory.

It's the perfect place to get a loved one a present for all occasions. The best part is, you can try what they have on display. We really went to town tasting all the oils. I ended up getting a couple bottles. I just have to mention how great the two ladies working were. They really took the time to talk to us while we were checking out. They made us feel so welcome. They made sure the bottles were packaged properly in the bags. It's the small details for me.

It's located in a parking lot behind the main strip and in a residential area. All street parking but it tends to be pretty easy. There's a bakery vendors that I've had a few times but they do sell out quite fast. Their fresh baked bread and sweets are one not to be missed. This visit, they weren't there in their usual section so I assume they were pretty much sold out fast. Loads of fresh organic vendors with all their goods. As it was summer, there were so many vendors with amazing tomatoes. Heirlooms, grape tomatoes and so all. Everything all looked so fresh and I'm sure it was straight from the farm that morning. Also loads of other vendors selling their homemade goods, like soap to candles to everything in between. Majority of the vendors are fresh produce so you know you'll be picking up fresh farm products. Also fresh flowers are always a must when a visiting the farmers market. Can't forget the fresh berries and fruits. Doesn't scream summer without all the fresh berries straight of the plant. Regardless what you're looking for or not, I'm sure you'll always leave with plenty of fresh things at this market. Their items are always so fresh. A must whenever I'm Ojai. There was a vendor that sells sourdough breads and she was quite popular has she always had a line. Caroline's preservative jams are amazing in flavor and quality. I also appreciated that Centri Coffee was there so that I could buy some whole beans.
