Would do 10 stars if I could. I have SI joint dysfunction symptoms for around 2 years after doing far too much Ashtanga yoga backbends. PT helped but had so much pain. Went to a few Chiros and still pain. A single session with Dr. Ito brought immediate relief! Sounds crazy, but the adjustment popped the SI joint right back in. I've been dealing with a back injury for a long period of time. After discussing options with my doctor I received a referral for acupuncture. Been seeing Dr ito for years. I had to go on disability for back pain and he helped me get back to work as soon as possible. I've been fighting a very congested left sinus which has driven me to multiple rounds of antibiotics, urgent care and emergency room visits. I decided to try acupuncture and found Nahpat Krasaeyan and she has been a life saver. It's miraculous within minutes all the swollen passageway's open and I can feel everything clear out. I have had deafness on that left side because of how swollen and impacted it gets. Terrible vertigo and nausea from it ... in minutes it's gone. Dr Ito was recommended to me by a friend and I am very grateful. I use to have horrible back pain ALL the time and would take ibuprofen daily to function. I started on my healing journey about a year ago and got stomach ulcers from all the ibuprofen which meant I had to deal with the pain in my back. After arriving in Ventura seven years ago, I tried out several chiropractors before settling in with Dr. Ito at The Holistic Healing Center. The center itself is centrally located with easy parking (important when your back is out) and I appreciate being welcomed by soothing Asian decor and a friendly, efficient staff. Dr. Ito himself is caring, knowledgeable, and ethical. His primary tools for treatment are stimulation with an activator, and muscle testing, non-invasive approaches. While I have always appreciated his work, I was recently particularly grateful to him. I came in, after not seeing him for many months. My back was spasming and I could barely walk.After two treatments,I had re-stabilized and was out of pain. As the name of the center says, the center offers a number of healing modalities including supplements. acupuncture, and massage which I have drawn on for healing over the years. The office has a quiet and calming atmosphere; personable but also professional. Lettie is a wonderful massage therapist and I have seen her for several sessions. I was desperate for relief of pain in my shoulder and triceps. Got some recommendations but no one could see me until the next day. I found the Holistic Healing Center here on Yelp. I was a little apprehensive, not wanting any new age mumbo jumbo. To my relief Hector was adept in "trigger point" massage. He even spent an extra 10 minutes or so working on my neck and face. I could not appreciate the relief until I returned to my car to drive home. His service was a little more than I expected but was well worth it. I tried everything for low back pain and was referred to Lisa Wong because at the time she accepted Kaiser. Well I certainly wasn't disappointed! She is so down to earth and yet very professional! She is extremely knowledgeable and willing to share her wealth of information! I am pain free now and go in for an occasional session. She also helped my mom who had just suffered from a stroke! I would highly recommend Lisa Wong...I only hate to make such a recommendation because it will be harder to get in to see her! read more

Do not go to this center if you have any kind of chemical sensitivity. It's in a modern building where the windows don't open and I had an awful reaction just being in the office for 15 min. I couldn't stay for my treatment...I had to leave. My guess is that a janitorial service that uses very toxic commercial cleaning products cleans the whole building including this "holistic" center. read more

I started about 1 month ago for migraines. They gave me herbs for my digestive system, and I get acupuncture 1x per week. I have not had a migraine since however; I always get a monthly migraine and I am anxiously waiting to see if I can dodge this one with acupuncture, diet and exercise.
