Went in for a fitting that took about 5-10 minutes and picked it up a few days later. Tried it on to make sure (because at this point I couldn't trust anyone). Perfect fit. They did everything I asked to perfectly. This was for my wedding so it was critical that everything was perfect. This didn't happen to me but when I went in they were dealing with another customer. Based on what I heard she brought in a pair of jeans asking for an emergency fix. I think they fixed it up for her within a couple of hours (while staying open later than their operating hours) to get the work done. Highly highly recommend this place.

I had searched for a talented tailor who could mend together my tattered blue denim shirt. Enter Lynda Ballard, the manager of said alteration & tailoring company, who greeted me with a velvety voice. My long-sleeve top, missing two buttons down the middle with sleeves that no longer fit, was assessed by Ms. Ballard herself. Lynda, who noted my sleeves needing more length, offered up a patch of material matching my shirt's fabric nearly identically. The assignment, as they say, was understood. A week later, voyage 2nd, I drove back for the booty: my clothing article paid off, thanks to the marvel of Cash App. By the end, yours truly came out a stronger person with an innovatively fixed 'writer's shirt' who made 2 friends: Lynda & her son. The accommodating staff had lent me a (maybe not) public restroom twice. Stitch and Fit may be quite the trek from metro ATL, but that is the only quibble I can muster from my appraisal of a tailoring co. that I'm glad to have learned about.

*review is based on reply to AI find-a-business conversation only*…read more TL;DR: weren't able to do a simple alteration (due to a quality that i noted in the AI chat message sent over to them) that another business had no problem with, BUT they were quick to reply and told me no without having me come in im not sure how simple of alterations they do, but it seems to be simpler than the surrounding businesses' usual. i was requesting a simple side take-in of a polyester dress with mesh overlay (notated in the AI message sent out), but they were unable to do it. for background, i am an intermediate-level DIY seamstress, with a grandmother who runs a sewing/alterations store (a state away which is why i reached out to businesses here). this is a pretty simple alteration, so i was surprised when they said they could not do it. i drove to the closest alterations place that was open, and they had no problem with the dress fabric regarding the take in (i showed the dress before i bothered trying it on to make sure) i am attaching the details yelp provided to the business as well as the conversation. the only additional thing i added to the AI was the part of the side seams with zipper in the back, maybe altering cups (after i responded to them saying that, for the other businesses to see that information) im not sure if this is a review more so on the business or AI feature. i will say- they were quick to reply and did tell me no, rather than having me come in and telling me no or potentially messing up the dress.

When I walked in there were a few patrons ahead of me. It was clear that they were regulars! I had a pair of pumps and a pair of long boots that I wanted the soles redone on . The gentleman told me it would be $30 for each and provide two dates that they could be ready by. I picked the later date because I was not in a rush. I did make the payment up front for the repair. When I returned , pick up was easy. There was one person in front of me, but i was still in and out quickly. I am beyond satisfied with how my shoes look. This place was very close to my work so it as extremely convenient for me to take my dress to get tailored on lunch my break so I chose to come here. They charged me $60 to get my dress taken in a tiny bit at the waist and to get the pads out. And it was still too big. I tried to communicate with the lady that I wasn't satisfied and she refused to help me or give me any money off. Now I'm stuck keeping this dress. I am extremely disappointed. She told me she could nothing for me and after I paid she walked away and that was it. You can go here if you want but make sure you ask for the price first and ask what will you do if I'm not satisfied. I might not even wear this dress now. And I can't return it because I've had it tailored. I believe if you want to run a business that gives you lasting customers, you should at least offer to help if your customer isn't happy. I am a very reasonable happy person. She also said she could keep my dress if I didn't pay the $60! Which was so unprofessional. The wedding I am going to is on Saturday and I'm thankful I purchased a back up dress. It will be a game time decision but im extremely dissatisfied as I was so happy I was treating myself to a tailored fitted dress. word of mouth is the most important refferal system as it cost no money in marketing and I would have been a wonderful referral system for this lady as well, as everyone asks me for referrals for everything.
