But, the last time I took a dress in there, a younger woman was working and charged double what I was used to paying and extremely rude with her explanation. read more

I am highly upset with how business was conducted today at OK Shoe Repair and Alterations in Austell!! I took my dress to just get hemmed, and that is all, no other alterations! I was charged $70!!!!! The dress was not even valued at $70! Even cashier that checked me out thought the price was relatively high!!! He discussed with seamstress and going back and forth, they kept my total at $70! She even has the audacity to say she dry cleaned it too, and that's why it was $70!! It was a BRAND new dress that I had never worn!! If there was a stain, why not call me and let me know before cleaning it so I could be aware!!! I've supported this FAMILY business for years!!! I've taken suits, other dresses and pants there and I've never been charged that much!!! This place is BAD news and will try to scam you for just a simple hem!!! $70 is outrageous!!! read more

Beware and stay away I asked the owner if he could fix my heels before leaving them. I took 6 pairs of shoes there due to the heel being scapped up. He told me yes he can fix them, no problem. He messed them up more. He was very argumentative when I asked him anything about why my shoes look like this. I wouldn't Recommend this business. read more

Recently I dropped off a suit for my son and it turned out perfect as usual. Small place but it's one of the few businesses that's lasted in that plaza. I have been there twice & both times I was very Unsatisfied! The Married Couple that runs the Shop do horrible work & have the worst attitudes! They seem to not know English well & in frustration the Gentleman yells at you. I have experienced this on both occasions & needless to say I will never go back..
