Did a good job with the AC in my car, saved me money on a new compressor. Works great

husband took the car for ac recharge, was advised to do a vacuum with the system so after 3 hours and almost $300 dollars went home and still no ac working with the beetle. and even put in the receipt that i refused but when he came in to the office from the shop told him sad story of not working and he ran out of time bacoz it was 5 o clock, he was so frustrated with ok tire in 17 ave SE, somebody needs an especially my husband who is handicapped read more

dropped my car off at 9 am for wheel alignment and Saftey. Recieved no phone calls did see my car drive by 2 times. Did not return my messages. it doesn't take 8 hours to complete the job. Now I have no vehicle to collect my husband in the morning, who drives Big Rig nightly to Vancouver. Guess he will be taking a cab home. I will not return or recommend this location to anyone. read more

I recently took a car in for pre purchase inspection and they completed it more quickly than they stated. They went over everything thoroughly and I felt confident in buying the car. I've had oil changes and bought tires there in the past and they have always been professional, friendly and helpful. I love going there and love that it's walking distance to my house as I like to support local businesses. I like it better than going to a dealership, like the old school garage feel (my dad had an Esso and a Shall station and it takes me back). I would highly recommend them. They seem very busy but I had no problem getting in very quickly, a day after I called them. The counter staff are busy but take time to chat with the customers. My wife and I are long-term customers, and we've now bought two sets of aftermarket tires (summer as well as winter) to replace the factory-installed ones on our cars after the OEM tires wore out. We also get our tires repaired here when tires suffer punctures from road debris. Our experience with their service has been positive since at least 2008. These guys are great! I moved to Alberta and needed to get an out of province inspection. I knew there was an issue with my airbag system that I needed to address before getting an inspection. The guys at OK Tire let me use their code reader and helped me diagnose the issue. Their reader couldn't totally narrow down the problem since My car has a strange connector but they put me on the right track. When they couldn't specifically track down the problem they didn't charge me anything and pointed me in the right direction to a shop that could. Very friendly service and reasonable rates for their work. I would recommend the shop to anyone! I dealt with Manny and Chris and both were great guys with excellent customer service skills. read more

Despite that, they will always try to fit you in somehow. This is THE place to go for tires, tire repair, alignments, tune-ups. I took one car in for a tire repair, and I told them my other car had a similar problem. They were not too busy so they sent me home for my other car, and had me pay only once at the end for both cars. Somebody else got their repair done for free because it was minor. These people are honest and friendly. This will be my default location. I'll phone first for any service; if they can do it, the car is going there. read more

2 of my friends recommended this place. They didn't know each other so that was a sign to me to definitely check the place out. The prices were comparable to Canadian Tire and Costco but I think OK tires offered the best tire:Toyo with H rating vs Bridgestone and General Tire with V rating. My tires had to be ordered in from Edmonton. It took a day, made an appointment yesterday and was called today when they arrived to confirm my appointment and I arrived 5 minutes late and was out of there in less than 25 minutes. read more

I went there to get a knocking noise checked out, thought it was a ball bearing, expected a hearty bill as usual, but it checked out to be a loose tire! The mechanics tightened it and I was off, no charge! Very pleased with the staff, and how honest they were! Would recommend to all my friends and family! read more

If you're looking for employees who go out of their way to provide you with great service this is the place to go! I recently needed winter tires put on and within one day they had booked me in even though they were booked up because of the recent snowfall. They received a better quality model from where they ordered them instead of the ones I had ordered and gave them to me for the same price. As I was waiting for my tires to be put on I noticed the other services they provided I didn't know about. Right away they offered to provide an oil change while my car was up on the hoists. This while being friendly and personable with other clients who were walking in. So impressive! read more

I went in with a question about an issue that a dealership had told me needed to get fixed on my car and Ok Tire took a look at it for me and was honest and up front with me about my car and that there was no issue. well after putting my vehicle in for a oil change, and explaining to the mechanic what i felt was wrong with my vehicle. I was advised to leave my vehicle ov er nite thinking the problem was under my vehicle I asked are you sure you deal with this type of reperation , oh yes front end and suspension is our forteh (huhuuu)picking up my vehicle the day after and told it was rectified paid for the task in hand , and of course my vehicle is still making the same noise and of course worse so. $ 700-00 later I ask the manager what he thought he said he test drove the vehicle personally and could not tell the problem . I was told the vehicle had no test drive after my service work was completed. Go figure that, as I questioned this the manager said my staff made mistake saying this .ok so I will soak it up and go to a real canadian mechanic Shop hoping my vehicle will get the service it needs .Lesson to be learned when you find a good mechanic never let him go .
