We booked two Deluxe Family Suites for 8 people for a 7-night stay. We traveled from Las Vegas, Nevada, and chose Okada because of its location near the airport, MOA, and our family in Manila. The indoor pool, family-friendly amenities, promenade restaurants, and resort-style atmosphere were major selling points. With its reputation as one of Manila's top resorts, my expectations were very high. We booked the complimentary round-trip airport transfer and received restaurant discounts. Upon arrival, finding our shuttle was easy. Employees in purple blazers were waiting with our name, and we were escorted to TWO shuttle vans for our group of eight. The vans were clean, comfortable, and stocked with bottled water and hand wipes. The service was excellent and made a great first impression. The hotel itself is beautiful. Security staff were friendly, the bellmen were professional, and the interior felt luxurious. Check-in went smoothly despite a minor booking-name issue. We were assigned two rooms next to each other,, both clean and ready upon arrival. The Deluxe Family Suites were spacious and comfortable, with three beds and two bathrooms each. The bidet toilets, room-control tablet, large closet space, fountain views, and complimentary glass bottled water added to the experience. It truly felt like a luxury resort. I want to especially recognize the maintenance and housekeeping teams. We discovered a shower drainage issue on our first day, and maintenance responded immediately and fixed it. Our housekeeper, Kris, was wonderful. She kept our room well stocked, organized, and welcoming throughout our stay. My mother also needed a refrigerator for medication, and one was promptly provided. The Promenade was convenient and offered many dining options. We especially enjoyed Piazza, the Italian restaurant. The food, service, atmosphere, and fountain views were outstanding. I highly recommend making a reservation and requesting a table near the fountain. Unfortunately, my experience with the casino was disappointing. Obtaining a rewards card involved providing extensive personal information, including occupation details, which felt unnecessarily invasive compared to casinos in Las Vegas. The card process was confusing and inconsistent. Several employees were not particularly helpful and explanations about rewards and slot play were rushed. This was the area where I felt hospitality fell short. Another disappointment was the pool. One of the main reasons we chose the hotel was the indoor pool featured in promotional photos and videos. Upon arrival, we learned it was no longer available for regular guest use and was reserved for events. This information should be communicated before booking. We used the outdoor pool instead, but I was disappointed with the water quality and did not feel comfortable spending much time there. On a positive note, the Play indoor playground exceeded expectations. My son loved it and wanted to visit every day. The facility was clean, well maintained, and staffed by friendly employees. There was a slight hiccup with our complimentary return to thr airport. Because our two rooms had different flight times, we needed separate shuttle schedules. We were initially told that only one complimentary airport transfer was allowed per booking, despite having two rooms with separate deposits and the same included amenities. We spent much of the day being directed between departments trying to resolve the issue. Eventually, a supervisor arranged the second complimentary shuttle, which we appreciated. The front desk also apologized with a thoughtful gift and thank-you card. On departure day, everything went smoothly. The shuttle service, transportation staff, bellmen, and drivers were all excellent. The other room left early in the morning. We stayed later because we had a later flight. They stored our luggage until our evening flight and provided great service until the very end. Overall, the hotel accommodations, housekeeping, maintenance, transportation staff, restaurants, and family amenities were excellent. However, the casino experience, lack of transparency regarding the indoor pool, and confusion surrounding the airport transfer policy affected our stay. I would gladly stay at the hotel again, but I would likely skip the casino and focus on enjoying the resort itself. read more

This is a massive hotel property. It's like a mashup between Bellagio and Wynn Las Vegas. Their complimentary bottled water in the room tasted pretty good too. I know what nasty tasting bottled water tastes like and Okada had high quality bottled water. The rooms are pretty dated though and the color scheme of pink really wasn't my vibe. I think the thing it has going for itself is the casino. The fountain show was a highlight too since it's open to the public via the promenade. Medley Buffet has been my top choice for buffets throughout my dining experience in the PI. I actually liked it better than Vikings, The Alley at BGC. For the grounds, you can take an electric cart to the pool or get some exercise by walking there but if you're only wanting to get some fresh air on the deck (a view overlooking the bay), they limit your stay for 15 minutes. Kind of a weird policy but ok. We met some friendly folks from Texas while hanging out in the lobby lounge so there are definitely international travelers from the US who stay here. I wouldn't stay here again though. It's not really in a desirable area. If I were to stay around Manila bay again I would actually book Conrad Manila just because it's much closer and convenient to Mall of Asia (MOA). The hotel grounds at Conrad were easier to navigate too. I felt the customer service at Conrad was better as the check-in line host was friendly, the front desk staff were seasoned, and team members throughout the property were welcoming. At Okada, they were training someone when I checked out; I was the guinea pig. I also had a different incident (lack of proper training on their part) which wasted my time and left me frustrated. 4.2 Stars. Okada Manila Hotel is a luxury hotel modeled after the Wynn Vegas. Beautiful inside, large, and great rooms. It is also near to the airport which is a plus because you DO NOT want to be caught in Manila traffic on your way to the airport thinking the distance is "not far" but not factoring in serious traffic. The room was wonderful, the sheets very cool yet warming. The auto toilet seat opening as you near it was a tad creepy but bougie at the same time. The view from my room was nice also, of the pool and the Pacific. Little things I enjoyed were the sink and bathtub turn knobs, vintage. High quality. The pricing though, is a bit high. $340/night for this type of room, while ocean view is a bit prohibitive to stay multiple nights when there are many great options nearby. The buffet I must say was rather abundant and solid. Except for my 2nd latte that was served lukewarm. I'll have a seperate review to show what the buffett has, it was great! Glad to have stayed here, but can't often because of the costs considering solid options nearby. read more

Unacceptable service and filthy rooms--deeply disappointing stay! I booked Okada Manila for a special family homecoming, but the experience was a disaster. Check-in took over 46 minutes past 6:00 PM because the front desk staff repeatedly ignored us to help other guests who interrupted our transaction. When we finally got to our rooms, the bathroom in the second room was completely filthy and uncleaned, and there were zero towels. On top of that, the view requests I made in advance were entirely ignored. I expected luxury, but we received unprofessionalism and poor hygiene. We arrived at the perfect time, as they have Christmas booths and a stunning light display. It's very festive. The interior looks amazing. They have a fountain show that starts at 6 p.m. and runs every hour. I just didn't like the strong smoke smell from the casino. I wish they could improve that. When you've only been to Vegas casinos, you really don't see the value for your money. For high rollers or for those penny pinchers, this place is the best! Rooms were spacious! You initially walk into a small foyer (mudroom/shoe space). Small walk-in closet sits next to the foyer. Our room had 2 double beds. Larger than a twin. Smaller than a queen. Amenities include shampoo, conditioner, body wash, shower cap, dental kits, soap, lotion, cotton swabs, mouthwash, robes and slippers. Lots of power outlets and waters. Run out of water? Head to the casino. They got water bottles everywhere for free. Bathrooms have a large bathtub, shower and toilet with a bidet! Bidet opens and flushed automatically! So nice! Cost of room is similar to Vegas and the US, but your pesos go a long way on the casino floor. Things to do: Variety of stores and restaurants. Ended up at an American restaurant since our kids chose the place. Fancy restaurants are very expensive compared to the ones lining the walkways, so this is a matter of funds. Fountain show played at night but not sure how often. People stand in lines to see it. Reminds me of Bellagio in Vegas. Plenty of entry points so find one that's shorter in line. Outdoor pool is free. Just be sure to register at the desk near the pool. Staff will help you set up your chairs and give you towels. We got a cabana for free since they are first come, first serve. Indoor Cove pool is paid entry. Since we went on New Year's Eve, we browsed through the "Winter Wonderland" boutiques, which were small pop up shops from different vendors, went to the NYE event/club (?) and got some drinks and glow sticks for our kids, and watched the midnight fireworks over Manila Bay side (our room faced that way so we watched from the room). We also got a small fruit cake. Maybe for NYE? Casino is like Vegas. Tables and slot machines. Craps, roulette, Baccarat, but I didn't see any blackjack, poker or pai gow. Slots were mostly those Chinese ones with gold coins or dragons or babies. Saw a Buffalo machine. Machines take US dollars, but we used pesos. Since the dollar is strong, playing at the casinos was a lot more fun. But it did feel like the slots are not as loose as Vegas. Customer service was pretty good. Everyone is helpful. Not really smiling much, but if you ask for help, they'll assist you. Check in was good, but with passports, it took a long time to register each guest. Room was ready around 2 pm. Then when we went to get our keys, another staff was about to register us again but I declined. System must not be great. Overall a place to visit again? Yes! We stayed 2 nights at this Okada hotel in manila and the room size is big but not very satisfied with the service so I gave 2 star. First, bell boy at main entrance when we arrived didn't mind greeting and offer help, I still have to call for help. 2nd, we asked if they can deliver food from buffet to our room and said NO it should be consumed at the restaurant. Lastly, the hair dryer/blower plug was not compatible to the vanity wall outlet. Next time I'm in Manila I'd rather book to Solaire instead. read more

Stayed I stayed in Okada for two nights. This casino and resort reminds me of Bellagio and Wynn in Las Vegas. They even have a water fountain show that plays on the hour from 6-10 pm every day (Each show includes two songs). Our room was on the 16th floor with a pool and bay view. I loved this view and I highly recommend it. The room was very nice and high tech. The bathroom was incredible and it was the best during my stay in the Philippines. The amenities were super nice. There were three pools; the one in the middle was the largest size and most enjoyable to swim in. We were able to get a cabana by the poolside for free, but I'm not sure if that's how it usually is. The workers by the poolside were super nice, attentive, and even gave multiple complimentary drinks to the guests. The gym was a good size with various types of equipment. Their resistance machines were unique and interesting, but targeted each body part. The casino was very huge. The upscale shops run parallel to the casino. There are lots of eatery when you head towards the fountain area, with plenty of options for you to eat and drink. The services throughout this hotel, casino, restaurants, and shops were excellent. I didn't encounter any rude workers, but the workers do expect tips. Overall, I recommend Okada for the luxury experience in Manila. I knocked down one star because of the inconvenient layout of the shops/casino to the hotel rooms. It was really tiring to walk from one end of the lobby to the other side where our room was located. At least there's a second lobby, drop off area, and check in desk on the opposite side. read more

Stayed here for a few days in October, 2022 with my husband. The hotel is massive and includes a casino, lots of yummy restaurants, shops, a beautiful outdoor fountain show, an amazing spa, swanky bar, live entertainment, family friendly pools and SO much more. The room we stayed in was larger than a normal hotel suite that had a separate living room, large bedroom, walk-in closet, two bathrooms each equipped with bidet toilets, and a large soaking bathtub. The bathrobes were made of the softest material. The toiletries were luxurious. The room itself was simply AMAZING! The hotel hospitality was 10/10. Everyone was very kind, hospitable & attentive. We ate at Kiapo several times during our stay because it was that good. They serve traditional, yet elevated Filipino dishes. During our stay, there was a tropical storm outside which was hardly noticeable when inside. Our friends stayed there the same weekend and they told us that the hotel had EVERYTHING they needed for them and their toddler. They never had to leave the hotel for anything. My husband and I left a couple times to go to the Mall of Asia which was a 5 minute drive or so away. We were blown away by this epic hotel and recommend it to all of our friends / family. One of the best hotels we've stayed at! We were upgraded to a king suite with a beautiful view of Manila Bay and the pool. Everything about this room was amazing: thr comfy bed, the views, the bathroom, and especially the soaking tub! The room was already really high tech. There are a couple iPad where you can control the lights and tvs. Aside from the rooms, the service was really great here. All the associates were so welcoming and helpful if we had any questions. The hotel is also a casino and mall. It is a massive hotel so you might get lost. After a few hours of walking around, you kinda get used to getting around though and even if you're lost, the associates are everywhere to help. 5 star hotel in the Philippines Great place to walk around and take amazing photos,they have a dancing fountain similar to the one in Las Vegas. Hands down one of the best hotels to stay in Manila. Okada delivers world class service and amenities. This hotel exceeded my expectations. It has shopping at your fingertips with major US Brands, it has a casino and a lot of restaurants to choose from offering different cuisines and reasonably priced considering this is a 5-star hotel. The hotel lobby has a wow factor! The rooms are very spacious and clean and you have options on the type of view you prefer. I got the fountain view so at night I had the luxury of watching the fountain show! It's beautiful view! The room I had has a huge tub with jet sprays, large bathroom with separate shower and toilet. The room is huge with nice sitting area. It has a coffee bar, a foyer and it has a walk in closet. When you get to your room, surround sound is on and it smelled so clean. The Tv, curtain and surround sound is controlled by an iPad. Your iPad is personalized and you can order room service at your fingertips. Expensive lol but so worth it! They upgraded us because our room was booked. Only problem was the upgrade was for a smoking room. It wasn't as bad as I expected it to be but what made me happy was they offered options to help remove the odor during our stay. Overall, I was very happy with our upgrade lol I mean, they moved us to one of the best rooms lol The shops were awesome and surprisingly were priced fairly as much as the stuff in the states. I ended up getting my fiancé a new style of a gshock watch for $124. Many options for shopping. I didn't spend a lot of time in the casino but obviously it's a casino and it has many areas to gamble. Many options for food places, but it was also pricey at many of the restaurants. You could tell many people agreed because jollibee had the longest lines LOL Be warned that this place had major security. Like they double scan you when you enter and pre scan your car/cab before you enter the area. It's like a mini Las Vegas in Manila. I would definitely like to stay here again...once I become a millionaire though. I throughly enjoyed it with my fiancé and I can say they made my fast few days in Manila so wonderful! read more

First time I visited this place last month for the last time I was in Manila of 2017 still in the making. The place was so huge, I was told that it is the largest Casino in Philippines. What makes it awesome was the Dancing Fountain @ night. I've been to Dubai & even in Las Vegas but Okada is the best over all. They got a lot of Luxury Boutiques & fine dining of Fastfood. I presented my valid California driver's license but apparently for Okada, you need to bring your passport as well! Guess they're too good for me to continue being a rewards member! I lucked out at the Okada, I booked one of the standard rooms but I got upgraded to a multi-room luxurious suite with a full bar and spa to make up for a issue I had on a previous trip. I counted like 5 mini fridges and not only stock with beer including Japanese and Korean brands but wine and champagne, and they where the good brands names. The highlight for me the the Japanese toilet where I got a wash and dry ;) The pink decor and the size of the lobby and the main dinning and conference rooms is unbelievable and I don't have the words to describe it. Besides the Hotel and Casino you have a giant fountain, and a rotunda of mall shops and restaurants, Some stores are still closed due to covid19, but theirs still plantly open and you should not have to leave the hotel for anything. The front desk and room service was great. And you don't need to call for a car service, there is a taxi stand at the other end of the hotel if you just need a cab. read more

Came all the way from California to Stay. It was gorgeous as in the physical appearance of the resort and hotel...We stayed 3 nights. But timing was a pain in the a** and hospitality sucks. Staff and employees 85% were extremely rude. We checked into 2 different rooms and they lied and said that it won't be ready for another 2 hours and when I checked in with another receptionist they gave us our key. It was hot, we're drained and there was no where to wait in lobby so we were all furious. And I understand the safety and security needing for Surveillance purpose of the building when it comes to the casino but Jesus...you feel like you're walking on eggshells in the ENTIRE building to the point you feel more comfortable just staying inside your room. You can't walk out the hall way down stairs, through shopping area without feeling comfortable honestly. I went shopping around the area with my sister, couldn't walk without staff and security looking down on us. Even asked us if we had a stay here. Yes we did. I asked to see the pool and they rudely told me "you have to pay to see" which was strange even though I know you have to pay for the cabana but just to see? and then I said "I just wanted to view the pool" and they rudely replied "stand by the door and you can see from there ma'am." We just walked out and left. went to get a quick snack at jollibee and they missed an order and so we grabbed our receipt and showed them and they demanded to see our tray and to look in my sister's purse as if were trying to SCAM out 50 pesos pies? All we wanted was our missing order, all I could do was just laugh because that's just ridiculous. We had the southwestern for lunch and the employees were just standing demanding on what you should order, even if you didn't want it. And when you're paying they're just watching you not giving an inch of space just hovering over your back until you paid the full amount. Need to treat guest with respect more. read more

Really Gorgeous Casino! It looks a lot like the Wynn Casino in Las Vegas. The entire place has a pink girly theme which I like but I guess it's not everyone's taste. Okada has a fountain show that lasts 2 songs, it was alright but the Bellagio Fountains in Las Vegas are a lot better. It seemed like a knockoff version of it but it was still kinda nice. I did like the Lana del Rey song they played though. My family came here to celebrate our relative's birthday dinner. We ate at Kiapo restaurant inside the casino which is Filipino cuisine. It was alright but maybe when I come back I'd prefer to try something else to eat. I didn't really get to walk around the shops much. It didn't seem like there were lot of stores when we went but according to my aunt apparently there's a lot of shopping options here. I guessed I missed it. I didn't play on the slots this time around but it didn't look like anyone was really winning haha. There was this one nice looking pastry cafe upon entering the casino and I'll make sure to try that place out next time I visit. read more

We planned to stay there a week but because my son couldn't play in the kids area and they're swimming area the other side had an extra fee it wasn't a problem except the pool people charge $20 or 1000 php after the 4th person whether you swim or not. Awkward timing to get a massage, my wife couldn't get a massage also. We decided to stay somewhere else. However, I gambled and had dinner everyday there, until I had to leave to travel to Vietnam etc. Not close to Caesar's palace type of customer service or ritz Carlton 5x-10x customer service. I feel like the workers there feel like they're a bit more entitled than other hotels which has better services. They also won't educate you on how to get a better deal until you reach the casino. I only slept in the room lol The games and food selections made it fun. The room sizes and spaces are ok. Next time we won't stay there it's a beautiful hotel, but will gamble again daily for fun and giggles. Thanks for keeping my son's blanket safe. -1 star for customer service. Would not recommend staying here at all. As nice as everything was, my family had endless issues with the employees at the reception desk and their managers. At our check-in time they only had 2/3 rooms ready, and it still was taking them a ridiculous amount of time to get the last room ready. On top of that, a separate reservation of ours had been cancelled and still not refunded. It's been almost two months and still my mom has not received her refunds which she has been talking to them about since we were still staying at the hotel. They constantly give you the run-around. They're more concerned about getting your money than accommodating you and your guests properly. Overall, staying here just wasn't worth it. read more

Went here with family to celebrate the new year for 2023 and it was a memorable experience. They still had their setup for Christmas at Okada so I was able to experience that too. However, a lot of restaurants are still yet to come. As a result, not too many options on where to eat in the hotel, but it looks promising so far and enough activities to do for everyone. They have a spot for kids too to keep them busy while parents go to the casino or shop. A lot of photogenic setups too for the gram. The room we got was also lovely and clean. The room offered a nice view and the bathroom toilets were a bidet. The bathroom also provided us bar soaps and shampoo, shower gel, and conditioner. As for the tv, it included Netflix and can be setup to watch whatever plays on your phone. They also offer a pool for guests and when you check in at the pool, they will provide you free towels and bottled water. Other services such as liquor though will be charged. My only con was that we had extra people staying in our room and I believe the room we got was a master suite. Therefore, we had only one bedroom but the hotel offers an option to add a mattress. The mattress isn't big though and is only a twin size. This was sufficient though as two mattresses were able to provide a resting spot for four people. Although, the service took over 4 hours when we were told it would take 30 minutes. After waiting three hours, we called a second time asking about our mattresses. Thankfully, this time they came when they said they would. Overall, I had a pleasant stay at the Okada hotel but I don't think I would return as it is expensive. However, I would recommend staying here for a memorable experience for Christmas or the new year. Preferably for the new year as you will be able to also experience the Christmas layout. -been here twice. First one we had toilet issues. I came back and wanted to give it another chance. Please bring your Passport, didn't accept my California drivers license and Military ID. I had to change my bookings and add a family member who has a local ID to get in. I booked 2 rooms for me and my family. I asked the front desk to give me an access to both rooms/floors since Im the one who's paying.. Front desk said yes. After many tries, 2 key cards don't have access to both floors. My family and I had to meet in the lobby first before I can go to their room. I went down to lobby to complain, a guy at the concierge said having an access to 2 floors with one card is not possible. I told him thats not what I have been told. He said he will ask the manager about it. He never retuned to me, issue never fixed. Phone is not working on the first room. I had to go out and look for a security to call maintenance, never fixed either. The door between bed and shower room is broken on the second room, it got fixed, thank God! To think the rooms were very pricey, they should at least make your stay more pleasant and comfortable. But no, too many issues have to deal with, very stressful. Oh.. and the rooms were not ready till 4:30, check in time is 3:00.. i mean.. seriously! The casino has a lot of stand by's occupying the chairs, not even playing, mostly on their phones or watching other guests playing, hardly see staff to order drinks. I live in Las Vegas. This place looks EXACTLY like the WYNN down to the font face of the their signs and the smell of the lobby. I felt like I was back home. My friends and I were so taken aback that I had to look it up and saw that Okada used to be partners with Wynn. NO WONDER! Anyhow, I'd post photos of the casino but I got yelled at by the TONS of security guards (good good) pacing the floor. Asian casinos are interesting in that the most popular table games aren't quite the same as Western casinos. BUT the slots are the same in that you lose all the same.. but it's in Piso... so it's not AS MUCH as you think. Note that smoking is allowed in the casino and in the club. Our purpose for coming to Okada was to go to The Cove.. the newest, hottest club in Manila. There too felt like Las Vegas! Came with a group of 15 from the States and got a table on the dance floor. The club was smaller than Vegas clubs but reminded me exactly of XS and Omnia put together.. they even had a chandelier that danced. The music on a Saturday was good. 12 bottles for $1200 (DEFINITELY NOT VEGAS PRICES) including Dom Perignon... and french fries! I enjoyed the talent/gogo dancers who were genuinely great performers! Best part is they give you a DOGGY bag for your bottle of alcohol. WOW. Also, they give you plastic bags in case you can't hold your liquor and a bag to carry shoes in! I'm impressed! For a night out in Manila, add Okada and the Cove to your itinerary! read more

Staff at the buffet was very rude--You would think they would tell you that you need reservations for the buffet instead of standing in line. Arrived when the lunch was ending and they told us to return at 6pm... Did not tell us we needed a reservation.. stood in line at 6 pm to eventually be told that we needed a reservation... They could have informed people in line this ahead to time.. Sad customer service.. Won't go back.. Terrible experience all around here at Okada-- read more
