The hotel staff are very courteous and friendly. Soon as a room becomes available, I was checked in an hour earlier than the normal check in time. That goes with the other hotel guests who are also waiting to be checked in. Room was very clean and very quiet. Although I did not avail of the hotel breakfast or eat at the restaurant, looking at the menu, they have a good line up of dishes. On top of all of what I said, this hotel is also a 8 minute walk to Newport Mall and easy access to NAIA Terminal 3 using Runway Manila Bridge. Hotel was conveniently located right across NAIA. Although the airport offers an indoor runway from Terminal that leads you to the hotel, it is not the case for international flights where you will be coming from Terminal 1. Therefore, a transportation is needed to get to the hotel. We arrived after midnight and I was so glad transportation readily provided by the hote with a small feel. Getting a ride was convenient, concierge staff was courteous and accommodating. Both check-in & check-out experience were smoothe and fast. Hotel staff were all friendly and professional. Room experience is overall good. It was clean and well kept. Bed was on the firm side but that didn't stop us from having a good night's sleep. We availed their free buffet breakfast. Food was OK. Not too sure why pancit, giniling na menudo, cooked fish were part of their breakfast item. Although they offer American and Filipino breakfast items. Their danggit, fried rice and sunny side up eggs, arroz caldo were my main go-to because the combo is just perfect! They offer different items per day. I love the sign on times when the buffet gets busy. It's a good heads up to know when not to go. We weren't able to enjoy the rooftop pool and bar because of time constraints. Love how this hotel is right across the breeze way from Manila airport. If you are coming in late and don't have ride, ths is the best option for you to stay. This hotel is acorss the street if you come into the domestic terminal . I know the international terminal was different. Just consider that. You may need to atke a bus , and if you have alot of baggage it may be a lot. Also le tme tell you, downstairs someone was trying to tell me Oh I can take you for 1900 pesos to the hotel, Um, before I even said an answer she wen down to 1500 , then down to 1200. I said, ok Um let me see. I think I'll just walk. Seriously took a 10min walk and I was able to use an airport cart to bring all the bags. You do need to switch carts but they are at the entrance into the breezeway. The hotel is very nice. Great water pressure, nice cold A/C in the Phillipine humidity, staff is accomodating and friendly. They do have dress code when coming for Buffett. If you have a flight out of Terminal 3 the next morning this is probably the place to stay. The Belmont is a solid 3-star hotel. The lobby is mediocre and often chaotic, as is the breakfast just in the dining lounge adjacent. The hallways are an arrangement of odors (someone near my room definitely brought Durian). There is a nice rooftop deck with pool but the service is super slow. There isn't an apparent upcharge at the hotel spa (which is just a converted room) compared to what you'd find outside, which is nice. Ultimately if you're looking for something more luxurious you're best off at any other property but if you want to high-tail it to your flight, after checkout the walkway entrance is just across the street read more

Pleasant stay, Great Hotel (MANILA, Philippines) We stayed here at the Belmont Hotel for a total of 7 days. We started our vacation and stayed in Manila (5 days) before heading to three other provinces and ended our vacation staying here again (2 days) before we flew back to the U.S. We booked three rooms, one with a living area. The staff were amazing and the Filipino hospitality really shined from these employees from the doorman, valet, and bellman to the registration counter to the staff at the cafe. The rooms were clean and modern. It was a bit tight in the bathroom but otherwise okay. A/C worked well. We were out everyday so I wasn't able to take advantage of the pool but I did sign up for a massage. Why not for $18.00 I got a good Swedish massage. Located on the 2nd floor of the hotel. The Cafe served a mix menu of American and Filipino food. They are open from 6:00-10:00a and complimentary with your stay. Yes, sometimes you can have adobo and garlic rice for breakfast but that's a separate review. Notice that the key card is unique. It is because it is made of bamboo. For security, you will need to swipe your key card inside the elevator to get to your room. The hotel is walking distance to salons, restaurants, bakery and a Starbucks. It is also near Newport Mall and Newport World Resorts where you will find a casino inside. We walked to Terminal 3 which is connected to Newport City by a footbridge when we boarded for Laoag. This hotel was a great choice for our last night in the Philippines! It was completely booked, so I think other people thought so too. It's walkable location across the street from the airport makes it ideal for a morning flight. I've never stayed within walking distance from any International airport before. The "Manila Runway" as they call it, allows you to easily walk to the airport from the hotel. Taking away the stress of making your flight is a wonderful benefit of staying at the Belmont. The staff is wonderful. From check-in to the rooftop bar to breakfast, service was always friendly. The rooftop bar and pool are really nice and we could see airplanes taking our and touching down. My only caveat to our stay would be the bed which is a bit on the firm side, but I had a good nights rest prior to our long travel home. During my recent stay (8/17/24-8/24/24, and 8/28/24) at the Belmont Hotel in Manila, I found the staff to be welcoming and accommodating, greeting me with warm smiles every time. However, my overall experience at the hotel left much to be desired. Unfortunately, I encountered roaches in my room, and upon requesting a room change, I found more roaches in the new room. Reluctant to go through the inconvenience of repacking and moving again, I decided to stay put. The presence of roaches was a significant concern and detracted from my comfort during the stay. The shower in my room emitted a strong mildew smell, likely stemming from the shower curtain, which was off-putting and raised questions about the cleanliness of the facilities. Furthermore, the bathroom was small, and the thin toilet paper provided was of poor quality. To make matters worse, the power went out a couple of times during my stay, causing inconvenience and disruption. Despite these challenges, the Belmont Hotel in Manila is conveniently located with a McDonald's in the back, a Starbucks, a convenience store, and a Subway just a few steps away. Additionally, the Newport World Mall is a 5-10 minute walk from the hotel, providing access to a food court and a casino without the need for a taxi or transportation service. After checking out for a few days to visit Boracay, I returned to the same hotel because my friends were staying there as well, and we wanted to stay together. Unfortunately, the room we moved to also had the same mildew smell issue. The breakfast buffet at the Belmont Cafe, located on the ground floor next to the reception desk, was decent for $15 USD per person. It offered a mix of continental breakfast items and traditional Filipino cuisine. While the temperature of the food was lukewarm at best, I noticed this to be a common issue in dining establishments across the Philippines. On the other hand, the a la carte dinner at the Belmont Cafe was much better, and I would dine there again. Considering the price point and location, and the quality of the a la carte dinner, my stay at the Belmont Hotel in Manila was okay. This hotel is located fairly close to the airport. I spent a night here before an early flight out of Manila. It is extremely affordable just for a few hours of sleep. The bathroom is extremely small but not a big deal if the stay is for a night. If you are looking to stay longer, this is not a good option. The breakfast buffet is ok, not great by any means. Breakfast time is very busy and getting a table can take a while. They have 24 hrs of in-room dining with some good food options. They do have a shuttle to the airport but it takes over 60 minutes to get to the airport. If you take a Grab, you will get to the airport in 15 minutes for under $4. Even though we only stayed for the night, we had a restful sleep. Bed is very comfortable, the shower was really nice too. It was very cozy. Above all, staff is excellent! They are very welcoming and very pleasant. To top it all off, the breakfast buffet was a bonus and the highlight of my stay. The personal touches they put is amazing. I highly recommend this place and the location is perfect! It's across the airport which is 5 mins away with Grab. Excellent hotel conveniently located to Manila International Airport. I stayed here for 4 nights and had a very comfortable and relaxing stay. I have nothing but good things to say. Once you arrive at the airport you can take a free shuttle from the Resorts World office to the hotel or hire a private car for 700 PHP (about $14 USD) to to the airport. Because we arrived late at night we opted for the private car. An employee from Resorts World escorted us to the pick up point and we were in the private car in less than 5 minutes after getting to the arrivals curb. Check-in was a breeze and the staff member also gave us 500 PHP (about $10 USD) in casino play for Maxims next door. If you don't speak tagalog, don't worry. All of the staff speak English and are more than accommodating to your needs. The hotel is very chic, modern and safe. They have guards outside who scan your bags with metal detectors as well as their security dog. Inside the hotel you need to scan your room key to gain access to higher floors. Our room wasn't that big but the beds were nice and firm, the TV had a a wide selection of channels and the bathroom shower was nice and hot. Inside the room there is complimentary bottled water, coffee and tea. You can also request additional bottles of water if you need them as well as towels and other toiletries from housekeeping. There are also robes and slippers available for your use. The hotel rooms have buttons on the inside of the room that turn red and green lights on outside your room to indicate housekeeping is desired or not. We even received hand written notes from our room attendants welcoming us to the hotel which was a nice touch. The top floor has a beautiful rooftop swimming pool and a bar where you receive a complimentary drink for your stay. There is free wifi available but I believe the best area to use it is in the cafe downstairs. The complimentary hotel breakfast is an "international" buffet with western and Filipino offerings. They also have a chef who makes eggs and omelets to order. The breakfast was quite good and I like that they change up the menu each day so there's something different. The hotel also has two computers for your use downstairs in the lobby as well as complimentary daily newspapers and complimentary shuttle service to Resorts World (you can walk but in the Philippines heat I recommend taking the shuttle service if you can). Based on the price I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone who is looking for a nice hotel in Manila that is near the airport. read more

I have booked and researched this hotel and It's one of the newest popular hotel in Newport City, Manila. Located at the heart of Resorts World Manila. I choose this hotel because it's a only a 5-minute walk from Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Terminal 3 via Runway Manila and most of all, they have 24 hours complimentary airport shuttle service. This hotel has good air conditioned rooms equipped with a small flat-screen TV, a minibar and a safety deposit box. With bathrobes, hair dryer, slippers and toiletries and bidet toilet. Our room view was the Hotel Marriot across the street. The bed was very comfy however room was smaller. Complimentary Wi-Fi in our room and all areas. Hotel lobby smells fragrance like a baby talcum powder happy and clean. They have an In-house restaurant Café Belmont that serves local and international cuisine. Actually an all-day dining restaurant. I think I have gained like 5 lbs over -indulged myself at their breakfast buffet. It's a Filipino/American/Continental Themed breakfast. Delicious and scrumptious. I was never worry about being hungry. This hotel has also good access to McDonalds and Starbucks next door and just walking distance to the Newport Mall, and World Resorts Casino. Overall, highly recommend this hotel when you're in Manila. I would definitely stay here again in the future. As many other reviewers have noted, this hotel is extremely close to the airport. However, it's also quite close to Manila Resorts, two malls, many places to eat (including a McDonalds right next to the hotel, if you want an inexpensive cheeseburger), AND, the restaurant inside the hotel is also quite good, albeit a little pricey. The buffet-style breakfast gets kudos, with everything important (omelets, etc.) prepared right in front of you. And the coffee is good. Important, because good coffee is harder to get than you might think in the Philippines. Again, not cheap, but breakfast is very good. The rooms (adults/children split) were great, and everything was in perfect working order and super-clean. WiFi was strong and consistent. This hotel has only been open for two weeks but I have to give props for the world-class service that I received. Here are the deets that you should know: + You can spot the hotel from the drop-off point at the airport but because of crazy Manila traffic it is definitely not walkable. I advise you grab a free shuttle instead. + This hotel is perfect for those using Manila as a layover stop. When doing my research for a hotel that fit my needs, the Marriott kept popping up as the better rated hotels in the area. I would say the Belmont is just as nice and only a block away. As of posting time, also almost half the price! (To put it perspective, the local airport hotel pricing structure is something like this: Marriott - $200+, Belmont - $120+, Remington - $30) + Belmont is associated with Resorts World so you can get all of your luxury shopping and dining done in one spot. This was clutch for us since thanks to Typhoon Lando we arrived at basically midnight and needed something to eat fast without traveling far. The shuttle will also take you here for free but you can walk too if the weather is nice. + Since the hotel is brand new everything is shiny, beautiful and bright. In fact I'm pretty sure I'm the first person to have ever slept in our hotel bed which was kind of cool. + Their breakfast buffet is pretty extensive with a mix of Filipino and American fare. It's about 700 pesos which is kind of pricey if you're looking for a cup of coffee and some fruit but if you want to eat everything than this is the perfect place to do it. + They take American Express which was a big rarity in the Philippines or in any of my overseas traveling in general. The reason I was in Manila overnight was because I was catching a private plane to El Nido. The concierge really went above and beyond the call of duty when he allowed us to check in some of our bags for the duration of our trip so we didn't have to drag 100 lbs of crap with us on our little island getaway, arranged a driver to bring us to the aircraft hanger, pick us up, wait for us when our plane was late and we had no way of contacting him, AND have the foresight to bring all of our bags to us since he knew we had a tight flight to catch afterwards. I was super impressed with the service and the next time I'm in Manila, I would not hesitate to come here again (and hopefully for more than a few hours). read more

I stayed at the Belmont Hotel for three days/Nights while in Manila. I was there to see my girlfriend, and we stayed at the Hotel together. Overall I was satisfied with the experience. First, it is very affordable - I reserved my room through expedia but Ive been told if I reserve directly its actually cheaper. My room was about $85 per night. For about $18 extra per day per person, my gf and I enjoyed the breakfast buffet, which had a wide range of foods which varied slightly by day, which was cool (waffles one day, pancakes another day, and the type of Pancit changed each day). A few negatives; the room was much smaller than implied by the photos, the television was small and had limited channels (I did not try to access any cable TV, just watched what was most accessible) but the room was clean and comfortable. The Air conditioning was a bit of a challenge, and the bathroom sink drained very slowly. There is rooftop pool and bar, which was really great and fun. All that being said, the food was great, the staff was great, the room was comfortable and big enough for our needs, we were quickly brought extra pillows, towels, water, and extra coffee and tea when we asked for them. After that, we stayed several days at the much fancier Manila Hotel. At the Manila I was bit by spiders, and the service was not nearly as good as the Belmont. I highly recommend the Belmont Hotel. Overall, the affordability, comfort, and amenities outweigh the shortcomings. When I return to Manila in a few months, I will spend my entire time at the Belmont. read more

For a $100/ night hotel without free breakfast this side of earth is a total rip off! We ended up paying for our brekfast with extra P1,400. And the food is horrible. The Filipino hotdog is the cheapest version you can get (All extenders) . The chicken adobo is bland as hell, (Filipinos invented this dish and we are in Manila!!, and they can't even cook adobo right???!! Wtf) The hostess is rude and the waiters are eagerly waiting to kick you out of the table. Bottomline, this place is so un-Filipino. Belmont is a good transit hotel, it's not too old with plenty of rooms and is similar to what you can find in Yotel in the US or Europe. Across the terminal 4 (Philippine Air) and probably 15/20 min from terminal 3 (mostly domestic Cebu pacific and Air Asia) and 1 (mostly international flights). It's in a complex where there is Marriott and Remington hotel as well. There is no bath tub in rooms as its a transit hotel, they have breakfast in the morning that is better than any airline food. I would not recommend it for more than a one night transit stay. Fly into Manila, and it's just 15/20 min from arrival terminal and then leave to another destination next morning. If you stay longer, you will start noticing some issues, like its a new building but has no good ventilation. They have roof top pool where you can watch planes take off and use it to replace the bath tub. The best part is staff is very friendly and Mc Donald's is next door. In Manila traffic you cannot beat the proximity to the airport. Marriott is in the same complex and not with three times the price that they advertise. This hotel was wonderful. I had just finished up my travels around the Philippines and needed to stay a night close to the airport so I could leave early. The hotel is walking distance from the airport, you just have to cross a busy highway but it's easy. (There is also a free shuttle but it confused me so I just walked, plus I'm always up for an adventure) It was beautiful and very clean. The front desk was very nice and helpful. The hot shower was a major bonus after all my traveling. The workout room was good and the rooftop bar area was also a very lovely area. The bed was SO comfortable. Came here with my family twice in a 10 day time frame, mainly because of layovers to and from another province in the Philippines. We booked via Hotels.com, and there were no problems with the third party booking site. The you can see the hotel from NAIA Terminal 3 (international terminal) but unfortunately it is not walkable, you have to take a taxi or use their shuttle bus. Shuttle bus info: its a red bus that says "Resorts World" its kind of hard to miss. It goes to terminal 3 every half an hour, but stops at all the other hotels, Marriott, Remington, Belmont. We did not use it coming from the airport as we had someone pick us up, but we did use it going to Terminal 3 on our way home. It took about 30 minutes to make the rounds and get to the airport. The bus does not go to Terminal 4 (the domestic airport) a taxi cost us about 80 PHP. The hotel staff is very friendly and accommodating, check in and check out was a breeze. The rooms were a little bit on the small side, but it was very comfortable, clean, modern and all amenities were provided even toothbrushes, we were so tired after long flights and knowing we didn't have to dig through our stuff was a lifesaver! The second time we stayed was just as enjoyable, we were there for a little longer, but still had to catch an early flight the next day. We did go to the Mall of Asia a taxi cost us about 160 PHP each way. Overall a great hotel with awesome staff and very convenient to NAIA International and Domestic Airports. I knew when I booked this property that there were multiple upscale hotels in this area. I incorrectly assumed that paying a higher price for a hotel would be indicative of better service. This is definitely not the case at the Belmont. I don't mind paying a premium price for quality and good customer service but neither were the case here. The concierge had zero interest in assisting us upon check in. I booked a Mother's Day package that was supposed to include extras such as a stuffed bear and a massage (I got neither). Due to a late flight in and early flight the next morning I asked if I could book another stay in several days and use the massage upon my return. The concierge immediately said no and wouldn't even ask a manager. He had no interest in my return business. I booked an upgraded room but it was so small the bathroom door wouldn't even open all the way. The hairdryer is stored next to the refrigerator because of the space constraints. There is no coffee maker in the room. I absolutely would not recommend this hotel as there are many other options in the immediacy vicinity. This establishment has no problem charging for extras but the return on investment is just not there. Do yourself a favor and book elsewhere. read more

Location to the Manila airports is the top reason to book this hotel. It is a fairly new hotel accessible to the airports and is of walking distance to a small mall which is part of the Resorts World complex. The hotel also offers free, air-conditioned shuttle service to and from the airports. Please make sure to check the time table with the front desk and allow extra time for stops at multiple hotels in the area as well as the unpredictable traffic patterns to and from the airport. The room we stayed at was modern but on the smaller side compared to other hotels in the Manila area. Bringing in 4 full-sized luggages will easily occupy the space when packing/unpacking. There is a refrigerator with 2 complimentary bottles of water, a bathroom stocked with basic necessities including toothbrush and toothpaste, two room slippers, and adequately sized flat screen television with cable. The room has its own climate control which is great and it cools down the room effectively. On the downside, the bedding and pillow cases were dirty with black spots/stains. We alerted the front desk and they were able to fix the problem within 2 hours. The booking we made included a breakfast buffet which was adequate and featured breads, cereal, juices, and Filipino dishes. The staff was friendly and the hotel was kept clean. The elevators were functioning properly. The rooftop swimming pool and bar was busy but the view of the surrounding area was blocked with shrubs. Overall, I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for an overnight stay which is best suited for those in-transit or traveling the following day due to its proximity to the Manila airports. read more
