I also had to pay for it all up front even though it was all being injected over three different appointments. After the first appointment I looked awful - Chetty created troughs under my eyes I never had before and a pull at the corner of my left eye because of poor filler placement. The troughs were deep enough that when I washed my face, water pooled in the groove. Needless to say I cancelled all other appointments and got my money back. At which point the receptionist told me I might want to consider a facelift since I was unhappy with the poor results. (!) Even after having some dissolved, the troughs he created have not gone away after three years. I feel he aged my face and I have had no other fillers since. If you like an unnatural, overfilled look, this guy is for you.

There was also a supportive nurse Kelly in the room rolling a jade roller on other parts of my face to distract me. I am so happy with the results, I look exactly like me only better. I went to Lakeshore Vein & Aesthetics Clinic last year (2015) for Metvix treatment (tx). I was happy with the tx so returned this year for further tx. The application charges (which are not covered by extended health plans) jumped by 400% from $50 to apply a tube of Metvix to half of the face, to $200. The application is done by an LPN and takes less than 20 minutes. Additionally, the clinic hikes the price of the Metvix over and above the pharmacy price; this price was further boosted this year. BC Interior has only one Dermatologist with a waitlist of 1-2+ years. Dr Bentley and other MDs of this clinic are not dermatologists. Shame on them for charging such exorbitant prices for a medically significant, preventive health care service which is not cosmetic.

I have been getting sugared for 5 years, and never had a more painful experience, she did not apply pressure when removing certain sections of hair, and she did not remember to give me a take home skin routine before I left. The appointment was over 45 mins, and she should have used more sugar than she did. She told me I was getting sweaty so she had to get new sugar, when really she should have changed it already, and I was sweating because I was in so much pain! I booked two appointments one for me and for a friend, she called my friend and cancelled because the other employee had major allergies and couldn't come into work. We drove from out of town, my friend was given 30 minutes notice before her appointment cancellation. Unprofessional, and insensitive.

Just because you don't share the same view, doesn't make it appropriate to go online and make some pretty serious claims, that attack her character. I cannot personally imagine her doing any of the things that you described in the 1st paragraph. Maybe she's just not your cup of tea. She is the best Body Sugaring Service I have ever had. Gentle, thorough I didn't even feel the paste being applied. Your comment about allergies was totally unrealistic. Would you really want a service provider working over you sneezing and having cold like symptoms...? I have seen first hand the extent to which they suffer from allergic reactions and it's in the clients best interest to not perform the service when this occurs. Additionally, you are not a certified practitioner so you don't have the educational background to determine when the "paste needs to be thrown out" and "she could have used more sugar then she did." Also, making other claims about their technique. If in fact, you were sweaty like you noted then their technique was a professional practice? I totally agree with Shivani's review, Kelowna is fortunate to have such a great Body Sugaring local business! They will always be my go-to place for Sugaring.
