I don't know how they got the dough so pillow, soft, yet perfectly crispy but we all agreed that it was some of the best pizza each of us ever had. Definitely recommend the pork as a main and their portions are absolutely huge and delicious! The polenta and veggies really added to the pork dish and I honestly could not have been happier with the crispy skin and tender meat inside.

To avoid having the rest of the group wait for us, we told them to go ahead and we'd wait for our ride. We were told by the wine tasting folks that we were welcome to sit in the restaurant and order a glass of wine while we waited (which we were happy to do and pay for). After the group left, we walked into the restaurant, and before we were even able to sit, a waiter came over and said they were not serving food anymore. We clarified it was just to grab a drink (which were informed by their colleague at the wine store was 100% ok, and from whom we just purchased a $90 bottle of wine from) , but he said sorry they are closed (it was 4pm and website says open until 5, and everyone else that we spoke to that WORKS THERE told us to go to restaurant and could wait there), meanwhile there were a bunch of tables that were eating mid-meal. That is despicable service and lack of business awareness. Instead we left and had to wait outside in 38 degC. Ridiculous. Worst service ever. Also we are are brown. All the people inside (and the server) were white. Make of that what you will. We did.

Perhaps we were in the middle of nowhere overlooking beautiful countryside, but it is worth it. We spent 2 weeks traveling from Salt Lake City to Armstrong BC. We stopped and ate a variety of restaurants (and wineries) along the way through Walla Walla and returning back through Island Park, ID. This restaurant was by far our favorite. The venue is original, the service, drinks, and food are excellent. Plus, the experience extraordinary. So much so, we ate there for dinner one night and returned the next day to eat lunch. Truly a special farm to table experience and for a reasonable price.

Our soup and sandwiches ordered with the choice of back, or side bacon, we went to the bistro area to await our lunch. Prior to stepping away however our bacon was cut fresh from the side. Who does that? Needless to say our sandwiches and soup were delicious, and from the looks of it we weren't the only ones that have discovered this gem. Another redo while in Kelowna or Vernon? I tried to eat the pepperoni thinking that maybe it was the smoked cheese, but wait...reading the pepperoni package, apparently I missed the "Big red type" stating "FIRE HOT"...holy smokes. Let me say, the smoked cheese was yummy, very tasty. However, my error with choices for the pepperoni were a problem for me. It was so spicy hot that I just couldn't eat it. I'll read the package a little better next time.
