After this was done, dryer was now throwing error code 80 or error code 90 every 5-10 minutes when the dryer was running. The technician informed me it was common for these types of dryers; and if the dryer is heating, most people continue to run them and disregard the code. It could be the thermostat, or something with the board. I wanted to go ahead and schedule an appt to have it repaired. Appt was scheduled Monday 10/09 between 12:00pm-4:00pm. No one showed up on Monday, towards the end of the day I realized it was Columbus Day assumed maybe the office was closed. On Wednesday 10/11 I tried to dry a load of laundry, and kept restarting it after the error code, after about an hour of doing this frequently I noticed a plastic burning smell, and decided not to continue. I called this company back and spoke with a nice woman, who apologized for the no show and explained to me their after hours technician (Jason I think) did not put me on Mondays schedule like he was supposed to. I understand mistakes happen not the end of the world. She could get me on the schedule Thursday 10/12 between 8am-12pm. I received a text that Jason the technician was on his way. I thought this was the technician I spoke with on Saturday, he seemed knowledgeable of the issue. When Jason the technician arrived, his demeanor was as if he was inconvenienced, not personable at all. When we made it to the laundry room and I started to explain the error code issue / timeline. He immediately jumped to vents being cleaned and how they were cleaned, I've already explained the issue twice, and assume to this technician. I had enough of his attitude and asked him to leave, I was no longer interested in doing business with this company. instead of him cutting me off and jumping to what the issue could be he should have stood there and listened, be respectful of someone's time, especially when they were understanding of the mistake that was made, the customers time was inconvenienced when the company didn't show up. My 17 year old daughter who could hear the technician even stated he was rude after he left. I received a text requesting a review, I decided to share how I felt and responded with two texts " I'm not happy with my experience I asked your technician to leave" and " I think I was rather patient, and understanding for the no show appt on Monday and to have someone show up that was not friendly, seemed inconvenienced, was rather disappointing." I received a response back " Julie C. from Appliance 911 KC/Arrow Appliance OKC: According to our technician the error codes you are receiving on your dryer are for a clogged vent and you advised him they were clean. He asked you who had cleaned your vent, you got upset and you then asked him to leave. I am sorry that you did not have a good experience but there are two sides to every story. In the future you may want to use a different service provider. Thanks!" If someone is going to use the quote "there are 2 sides to every story", as a validation their employee was not being in the wrong.. At least use it correctly sheesh... "There is 2 sides to every story and then there is the truth."

I've used Doug for a long time. First was my ice maker. They can't figure out why it won't work…read moreproperly. They were here 4 times just for the icemaker. Recently, my stove, washer and dryer all went out at the same time. When Doug left, dryer wouldn't work. The light wouldn't even come on. He ha d to come back to fix that. When he left all of a sudden the washer hose was leaking. Funny that it happeed as soon as he left. I called him back and he said he'd call me the next week and work me in. 2 weeks later, i called him back. He told me that since im not in Mustang, he waits until he has another job in the city​. He said hw would be out the next week. That's 2 weeks for something that should have been fixed in the first place. When he FINALLY got there. He wanted to charge me another service call. I'm done with Doug and I will not be calling him ever again. I read the other reviews and honestly, I don't care if he is a veteran. Check things before you leave and make sure it works. Beware of this company. Btw, my ice maker still doesn't work correctly(3 years later).

I called Andrew on that Monday, and he said they didn't make that part anymore, but he knew someone who might be able to fix it. He said the total price for all would be $680 and I would have to write him a check for $340. A couple of weeks later he called and said more than likely they couldn't fix it, so I told just to forget we would buy a new oven. I asked that I needed to know what the service charge would have been and the postage for sending it away. It seemed to me I should be refunded at least something. He skirted around and said he would figure it out. Never heard anything. I sent an email to him, again nothing. Will not be using his company again.

He then ordered the parts he believed were needed (all before he arrived and no charge to me until they were installed). He suggested he come for the service appointment once the part arrived rather than have to make two trips which was very much appreciated as it saved me time. When he came it took him a few minutes to figure out the problem. He installed our new part and was done. Best of all he was a very nice and trustworthy which was very comforting as I know not all of the companies in this industry are. I felt he was honest, gave a fair price (and stayed within the range he gave me over the phone). What a wonderful feeling to find an appliance repair company that is knowledgeable, trustworthy and prompt. I plan to go back to Mark's Appliance for all my future repair needs! Highly recommended!

Being that it happened on a Saturday and the July 4th weekend, I was not optimistic to find anyone. But I was desperate so I requested some estimates on Yelp. I immediately heard back from several businesses. Unfortunately, they're either out of my service area or closed for the weekend until the 5th. I was about to give up, that's when I saw John's message. I asked if they had any reviews and he sent me their Google page (you should check it out). Anyway, he was able to come out early Sunday morning at 9 AM to diagnose. John quickly found the issue - a malfunctioning cooling fan. The part needed to be replaced so unfortunately, we have to wait for it. But, he defrosted the coils in the back of the fridge, and that temporarily fixed the cooling issue so we can wait for the part to arrive. For our visit, he charged a $75 service fee, which was provided to me upfront. Definitely check them out.
