Apparently their system/camera can't read license plates that include verticals letters. I hoped that over time they would recognize this is a problem for customers but instead they're fine with wasting time and sending out the workers to get your information repeatedly. Never had an issue with a car wash that provided a barcode. Apparently Tommy's technology isn't very good.

Anyway I was corrected and he wanted to see my car. I was told it depends on what kind of a membership I had. I told him I pay $40.00 a month. He had to check my tag first. Mind you I wasn't looking for anything! I told the manager I didn't like the way he was talking to me. Then the situation got out of control! I have never been treated so badly. All he had to say is i'm sorry; How can I make it right! It would have ended right there! I am a 73 year old. ?

The boy who was supposed to tell me when to put my car into neutral failed to do so. He also didn't tell me if my wheels needed to be more aligned. I decided to give 1 last chance and go today and once again the boy didn't give clear directions on what to do with my car when going into the wash. And the lights at the end don't tell you when to put your car on drive. All the lights on the board at the end were all blinking. There needs to be better instructions for coming in and going out. Will not be back because I'm just too afraid something bad will happen to my car.

The bugs were seriously stuck to the hood & windshield but the staff let me go through the wash twice to get the remainder of them off. Also, I hadn't been able to find a place with good vacuums- until I came here! The vacuums were so powerful they got ALL the fur up with little effort. Super happy with this location, the well taken care of equipment(vacuums) & the understanding staff. OH and they offer you clean microfiber towels to wipe either inside or outside of your car. I have done the math and it doesn't make sense for me to buy your membership. I wash my car at home and just use the car wash very occasionally. I don't need you to press buttons on the screen for me, I'm a big boy and can do that myself. Unless I am in a pinch I will likely never go there anymore. It's a shame because I do like the car wash, just hate being sold something every time I go. The screen is self service so not sure why I need someone to do that for me. Maybe they don't want my business. If so, they have succeeded.

I have been to several Tommy's Express car washes in the Tulsa area. Usually I go to the South…read morePeoria location, which is where I went today. I have previously mentioned that there are not always attendants at the entrance so sometimes you just have to pull onto the conveyor belt that pulls you through the car wash on your own. During those times, no plastic bag is put over your rear window. Today when I went through the South Peoria location, there were two attendants, one of them was guiding me onto the conveyor belt, while the other one put the plastic bag over my rear window wiper. The car wash proceeded normally and I was happy with the way the car looked when I came out. When I pulled into vacuum station number nine, The driver side hose nozzle fell off as I was removing the hose from its holder. I was able to screw the nozzle back on without having to alert anyone. However, when I tried to move the hose around to the hatchback of my car the hose was barely long enough to enable me to vacuum out the rear of my car. I don't recall that ever happening before. I guess I got a short hose. There is a car mat washing machine near the vacuums. If you have flat mats, you simply insert them in the slot of the machine and it pulls the mats in, washes them and spits them out. It won't work on mats like WeatherTech though, they must be flat mats. Today's experience doesn't change my overall opinion and I leave my rating at four stars.

On the actual detail of the car, I would give them a seven out of 10. Certainly not what I would expect for $450. That is at the top of the price points for this type of service. There were areas that they miss cleaning, and there was still trash in the pocket behind the driver seat. Not necessarily their fault, but the antenna was broken off when they probably put it through their car wash. Not blaming them, but they certainly could appointed that out.
