Best elementary school in Stillwater according to everyone, teachers, parents, former teachers, and…read morepeople who never even had kids. Apparently Highland Park is #2 but I've never been there. Stillwater has 4 public elementary schools, one public middle school, one private elementary and middle school, and one public high school. Sangre Ridge is located next door to the middle school across the street from some of the more affluent neighborhoods. That's probably why it's ranked as best, more of the wealthier kids attend here. There are 2 large playgrounds and basketball courts. Sidewalks all the way to 19th street, plus 2 crossing guards on duty during the busy drop off and pick up times. Every teacher and classroom we've delt with has been awesome. Parking is limited, if there is a school event be prepared to park in a neighborhood and walk! It's really hard to find a house in Stillwater, epically in this school district. Berry Creek is pretty much your only option.

In fact - you can even learn to blow glass in Downtown Guthrie. And it's a beautiful town to come too. I travel all the way from the center of Oklahoma City to weave once a week.

In July I went with my son's class on a field trip to the Oklahoma City Zoo. The trip was well coordinated, and the kids had a great time. So did I! My son's teacher, Katona, does an outstanding job with her kids in the 6-year-olds room, and I regularly receive reports about his day went and the arts and crafts that he made. Other staff members have impressed me including Ms. Stephanie in the school-aged kids room and the Assistant Director, Amy Mardis. The owner, Lori Crosby, should be commended for running and outstanding child care center. I highly recommend Renaissance Place!

The location is gorgeous, eclectic, and larger than May paint place I've been before. You are provided all of the natiwrals... just bring yourself and have fun. Something that wasn't a big deal for me, but was an issue for my mom, was the quantity of participants and how super-close together you sit during the class. It was PACKED the Saturday we went, so we were literally painting elbow to elbow. The two ladies sitting next to my mom and I asked to be moved to a back table off to the side because we were packed in. Although I was willing to deal with it, they complained and o e stated, "I don't want to hit this gal with my elbow for two hours". Due to the amount of people, the talking and lively conversations, and Christmas music okaying in the background (which I love), it was challenging to hear the lead instructor. Again, I managed and went kinda rouge, but my sweet mama was getting frustrated (and a little overwhelmed). Overall, it was a fun and energized experience, just being honest with regard to other factors so people know going in what it might look like or feel like. I'm going back for sure, even if I'm flying solo---I'm obsessed with painting chill time.

However,…read morenow that I've been taking my child for several months I realize that this program is an incredible value. I would gladly pay 50 or 70% more for these classes. The interaction in class and the books, musical instruments and CDs you take home are worth the price. The Kindermusik program is for kids up to age 7. We had no problem finding a class time for my toddler with other kids her age. My child was incredibly shy and had a lot of difficulty in social situations. For many of the early classes she would just sit there without participating. Now she's more active in the class and I'm impressed to see that she seems songs even from those early lessons where I didn't think she was paying any attention or participating! Every 4 weeks Miss Judy gives a new curriculum with new musical toys and new songs. She has several classes over the school year. She doesn't offer as much over the summer. Parking is ok. There's a large lot near the building, but only a few spots right in front of the building. The building is small but adequate for the classes. She even has a piano in there. She takes great care and truly loves all her students. I will definitely keep attending kindermusik until my child ages out.

It seems very organized and the staff are great. I have seen a review about them not giving refunds, if a child does not attend- It states there are no refunds before you register. Also, when I accidently registered for a day I didn't need, I called immediately and was given a credit to use for a different day. I thought that was more than generous- considering the policy is no refund.
