The property managers keep the grass well maintained and doggie bags stocked. There is a pond in the back that is open seasonally. The locals that come always seem to be nice and pleasant to chat with. In 5 years I have only witnessed a handful of times owners that have been irresponsible or disrespectful to the rules. Best time to come for socialization is weekend in the morning. All other times there are none to a few people at the park. Highly recommend this venue for engagement or a good sniffing time! :)

I found some empty bottles in the trash and climbed down the creek to fill them up with water. If you are going to keep this park open for dogs keep the water on. It has not been anywhere close to freezing in the last week so there is no excuse. Besides my need for a hike they enjoyed the agility course. This is the closest park to my house and I'm very upset about my visit.

I was really excited to find out about this park but I was a little concerned as I don't know just how well socialized he is. It turned out to be a great experience. Most of the dogs were large dogs while Teddy is under 30 lbs but small dogs and large dogs are kept separated. It didn't stop all the dogs from trying to meet and play with Teddy from the fence and it was really sweet to watch. The park itself offers benches, shaded areas and plenty of space to run and explore. They also have water available for the pups. There even appears to be a hiking trail behind the park that I was not aware of and I plan on checking out sometime.

Teddy is a bit of an old man who had been kept inside with a little sickly old woman most of his life so he doesn't really know how to "dog" so to speak and won't run around chasing or playing with the other doggos much. He does like to sniff and is pretty happy to be in a place where he can be off his leash for a while since I live in a condo with no yard to speak of. The handful of times we have come, there haven't been many small dogs and I'm almost tempted to take him in the side meant for large dogs as a lot of them seem friendly enough.

I don't know what took me so long to make a review. I've been coming here for years. This place…read morewill always have a special place in my heart. I first started coming here when my Great Dane, Minnie, was just a puppy. This was to help her socialize. Ever since then, it's felt like a second home. We even met the pup, Flynn(previously Tuna)that we ended up adopting here from the amazing Lindi. The atmosphere feels like home. There are so many things to do for both dogs and humans! While the dogs play, we usually grab some food and they are always introducing new items to the menu, so we always have new things to try whenever we visit. And I will say that I have never been disappointed with anything that we've ordered. The drinks are amazing too! Clever names, great prices, and delicious! They always have super fun events going on too! From weekly bingo and singo to pop up markets, events, Holiday parties, and even doggy prom! Thank you to everyone there that has made us feel like family. We're so grateful to be apart of this community. We love our pups second home. That's all for my really long review. Man oh man was that a hard promise to keep! We spent large chunks of time searching out those little suckers. Not every Flying J's, Loves or Petro station carries post cards & searching online for souvenir shops in small towns, more often than not, leaves you empty handed. One such internet search took us into Walmarts & drug stores...nothing. Driving through Arkansas we even found ourselves driving to a sweet elderly couples' residence to buy a pack of vintage Arkansas cards. It's a sad day indeed, at least in my opinion, when the postcard becomes outdated. Well, we discovered a little late that visitors centers near the state borders might just have postcards, if you're looking. This one did. And we left with a handful of free brochures & books on local history. Not to mention the goodies we bought: t-shirts, our state-shaped magnet & a stuffed buffalo for the Littles! We pulled up out of desperation, but it was worth the stop, for sure.
