Came here on a Friday night to have dinner. It wasn't busy, and we were seated immediately. We ordered drinks while we continued to review the menu. I got the Oko punch, and my friend got a blue drink I can't recall the name of.helr drink. I ordered a shrimp fried rice dish that was accompanied by sweet plantains and a salad. My friend got the oxtail and the jollof rice. She tasted her rice and requested a different portion as it tasted burnt. My shrimp was cooked well, but the rice lacked some flavor. My drink didn't have a kick to it all. Our waitress was really nice and super attentive. They were playing some good 6 a few guys were there and sang, making almost karaoke style. Rhey were good singers, too.

Came here for the seafood Thursday and was disappointed. Our bartender was very new and did not have knowledge of the Thursday food or drink specials . However she was so nice and pleasant . The food was very expensive . My friend ordered the beef Suya which she said was nasty. So I didn't even bother ordering food to be disappointed.. My margarita was also nasty but it was only $7 from the Thursday drink special. The total vibe was just off and a waste ! Not to meation the bar chairs are too short for the bar counter top !

This place very welcoming starting as soon as you come in the door. The staff are very friend and welcoming. The ambiance is very calm and relaxing. The staff uniforms were very clean. For the food. I only had the season fries and Cannied Yams. They were good. The fries well seasoned. The cannied yams were also good cause they were super sweet. I was going to get the Rasta Pasta but my niece had that and it was a little to salty for my taste (not a real salt eater). Overall I would definitely come back again to try the salmon. Well I have to edit this review after receiving the bill. Please take note of your prices. The food that was charged wasn't the same price on the menu.

I stopped her after an event and was quite hungry. I heard that the place had good food so I wanted to check it out. Somehow, I thought this place was fine dining (as stated in the establishment name), but I got a more casual feel from it. There was a DJ spinning some good music. A few patrons but wasn't hard to find a seat at the bar. The bartenders were sweet. The food came. I ordered the jerk chicken tacos which came with jollof rice. The food was ok. Temp-wise not hot at all. The jerk chicken had little kick to it. I was expecting more of the jerk flavor but got very little of that. The toppings were fresh I will say. The drink, although took awhile to come was good.

I celebrated 40 plus years of life today. When I say this establishment exceeded our expectations is an under statement. The drinks were exceptional...appetizer was tasty....the main courses were exceptional. The staff were very attentive. Shout out to Angelica and Precious. Last but not least Chef Cliff did his thang in the Kitchen...The hour plus ridr from Brooklyn was worth it all. See yall soon

Had dinner and drinks there with a friend a few weeks ago and we had a great time! The food and vibes were excellent! The DJ in attendance played a variety of genres, including Soca. Chef Jeff topped off the evening by giving out complementary shots; a good look! Definitely coming back! Definitely coming back!

We stopped in out of curiousity to grab some dinner since we were in the area. When we arrived, there was no hostess that greeted us. We were told by the bartender/server to sit anywhere we would like. It appeared that there was a meeting about to take place as many members were sitting at the bar ordering drinks. There were only a few tables and a huge bar in the middle of the room. We were handed a few menus and just kept it simple with some burgers. They were surprisingly delicious and tasted super fresh. All of the burgers/sliders came with a side of tater tots or fries. Service was kind of slow but there was only one woman handling the bar and serving food. Overall, I would definitely come back for some drinks and a bite to eat.

It was pretty empty, but still felt lively because the bartender made us feel welcome. Our bartender was super friendly and she had the best recommendations! There's beers on tap and lots of liquor on the shelf to choose from. The variety they had was really surprising to me. I usually like whiskeys and bourbons, but there were so many choices I wasn't sure what to try. Upon finding out I prefer sweeter drinks, she recommended the Knob Creek Smoked Maple Bourbon. Her recommendations to others in our group was on point too. I will definitely come again if I'm in the area.

Not sure why the restaurant isn't busier because the good was very good. We split a cauliflower fritters appetizer, which was tasty and hot. It was a cross between breaded fried cauliflower and the Indian Gobi style. I had the mushroom burger, an 8 oz hamburger with mushrooms and sauteed spinach along with melted cheese. The meat was fresh and good. A big step above most burgers plus generous portions of sauteed onions and mushrooms along with melted cheeses. When I get my hamburger craving, I know where I'm going. The Butter Chicken Tacos were an unusual option. Based on Indian Butter Chicken, the national dish of UK along with Chicken Marsala, it was served in a naan with a side of rice. Really very flavorful and creative. The chopped salmon burger with mayo also comes with cheese, which was unexpected, but worked well. Service was prompt and friendly. The waitress and another wait staff person even moved furniture around looking for my grandson's red crayon. (He was sitting on it). Worth a visit even if you don't go have a craft bar or cocktail.

The pork slices were big although I wouldn't say they are as good as those found in very traditional and higher end ramen places in NYC. But at this price point in the suburbs, the place is absolutely a 5-star. Look it's not Ippudo or Ichiran... it's part of a small group with various locations... but it's also not your typical suburbia mall Japanese spot either. The drinks are very well priced too. Service was very friendly, it's convenient with lots of parking, and they seem to be quite busy midweek for early dinner. I've yet to find a go-to ramen place in NJ... Ani Ramen is popular around here though I think this is better. It's good enough for this ramen snob to not make me want to drive into Manhattan to seek out ramen even if it's not exactly quite like the very best in the city.

So, realistically, I don't expect to find that same level of ramen here in the New York/New Jersey area. That being said, this place in West Orange definitely does the job. I tried the shrimp ramen, and I can honestly say it was very good. Is it the perfection you can experience in Osaka? No--and that would be an unfair comparison. But for what you can find around this area, this is easily one of the better bowls of ramen I've had. Good flavor, enjoyable broth, and a solid overall experience. If you're local and craving ramen, this place is definitely worth giving a try. Osaka set the bar very high for me, but this one gets my respect.
