We visited Friday night on a double date. The restaurant is still in soft open and not fully staffed, which caused the service to run slow. However, our server Nick was super polite and kept us informed. Other than that we had a great experience. Prices were very reasonable ( forgot the take a picture of the menu) but this is our receipt as reference. We even got a 10% discount for the slower service. The menu was small, which I love. Yet it had something for everyone. The cocktail menu was amazing. The food quality was just good, but the presentation was great. I think they will improve with time. The restaurant has an awesome industrial look. On the other side of a glass wall decorated with wine bottles is the bar and lounge. After dinner we moved to the bar for drinks and Karaoke. The Bartender was very charismatic, he had us laughing all night long and the drinks were perfect. He even brought out chocolate milk as a joke to my husband who wasn't drinking. We will definitely go back. This place is great for groups. Order the Kale salad, probably my favorite thing in the menu.

We went in for dinner and stayed for drinks! Started off with a great waiter named Nick he was very friendly. we had the Kale salad the dressing was really good, we had the Calamari and boneless wings also great. We shared the Hanger steak it was seasoned perfectly. No room for dessert maybe next time. After We went to the bar area to have a drink. the area is very cozy, they had great music and a large screen playing the game. The bartenders were great and made perfect drinks. West Orange needed a place with great food and service. No need to travel to Montclair anymore.

Went to Grill 350 with 6 other women to celebrate a 50th birthday. We were comfortably seated. The restaurant is fairly new and nicely decorated. All of the staff was very friendly & accommodating. We all chose cocktails and, speaking for myself, the Cold Brew Martini was not only delicious but just strong enough. We ordered some apps to share including Calamari and Wings but the Handmade Chips & Dips were by far the favorite. The portion sizes are generous, if fact some of the ladies shared meals and had plenty of food to eat. Two of us had a fish special that was good. Another had the Eggplant Rollatini that she said was average. There is a bar in an adjoining room that had live music. There were about 10 interesting beers on draft. My only negative comment is that we waited too long for our cocktails. Otherwise, I would say to give the new place in town a try.

Nice enough staff and the interior is great. They have two small flat screens and one was off tonight. The Moscow Mule was meh. The Paloma was okay. The Bees Knees was a no. The calamari was no. The crab spinach dip was the best thing. Three drinks & 2 apps; $50 + tip. I won't be back.

A great addition to West Orange! The decor is beautiful and very inviting. I have been here 4 times both having dined in the main dining room and in the bar area. First time in dining room our waiter Nick was professional and great at recommending things to try. When I've sat in the bar area, waitress Jocelyn is amazing and so friendly. Each time I've returned I was personally greeted and felt right at home. The owner Travis is such a nice gentleman and always asks about my experience. You can tell he has a lot of pride in this place and really cares to make it a success with the customers. I've had the Kale Salad, Calamari, boneless wings, hanger steak, chips and dip and the arepas. All of my food has been delicious and with great flavor. My favorite drink is the Honey Fig. The dining room area is perfect for a date night or group dinners. The bar area is fun for drinks with friends and light bites (you can also get the full menu here as well). Having music weekends is a nice treat and there are also tv's to watch sports. I look forward to coming here and can see myself becoming a regular. It's a fairly new place and they seem to still be working some of the new restaurant kinks. That being said I have had nothing but a fabulous experience here. Reading some of the reviews I can see that people need to have more patience and give the place a chance.

I felt like I found a hidden Gem! I live further south of the place, but it was definitely worth the drive. The vibe of Grill350 definitely gave me a warm & cozy feeling the moment I walked in. The bartenders were nothing but amazing, very nice, attentive, and nice to chat with. The food was delicious. I ordered Penne Vodka, it was delicious... I wish I had more of it. I will definitely come back again & again! My new frequent place to watch the games!

    Cool vibe with exposed ventilation.

Not sure why the restaurant isn't busier because the good was very good. We split a cauliflower fritters appetizer, which was tasty and hot. It was a cross between breaded fried cauliflower and the Indian Gobi style. I had the mushroom burger, an 8 oz hamburger with mushrooms and sauteed spinach along with melted cheese. The meat was fresh and good. A big step above most burgers plus generous portions of sauteed onions and mushrooms along with melted cheeses. When I get my hamburger craving, I know where I'm going. The Butter Chicken Tacos were an unusual option. Based on Indian Butter Chicken, the national dish of UK along with Chicken Marsala, it was served in a naan with a side of rice. Really very flavorful and creative. The chopped salmon burger with mayo also comes with cheese, which was unexpected, but worked well. Service was prompt and friendly. The waitress and another wait staff person even moved furniture around looking for my grandson's red crayon. (He was sitting on it). Worth a visit even if you don't go have a craft bar or cocktail.

From a food perspective, our meal initiated with a basket of some of the best rolls I had ever had. They were large, fluffy, and doughy with a hint of crispiness from a light toasting. We then shared the Veal and Beef Meatball, which was gigantic but still managed to have the ideal texture. It was also beautifully seasoned and served in what the chef called his "grandma's plum tomato sauce", which was divine! The sauce was thick and hearty, so when that was paired with pecorino cheese and basil oil, it really made for a fabulous dish. I even cut off a small piece to put inside my roll with a spoonful of sauce - chef's kiss! After that, we enjoyed some of the house-made pasta dishes, tasting each in a family-style format. The Squid Ink Bucatini was tossed with scallops, shrimp, and jumbo lump crab in a seafood tomato sauce. I did not love the briny finish to the sauce or that some of the scallops were chewy. The Tagliatelle with Duck Bolognese, tomatoes, and carrots was good, but I prefer my pomodoro sauce without the addition of a "light cream". Lastly, the special Spaghetti came with lobster, crab, and peas in vodka sauce. That one was definitely my favorite. While I do not love peas, the sauce was rich and flavorful. Across these last two dishes, I thought the pasta was a tad overcooked and could have been more al dente; the bucatini consistency was more inline with my preferences. Overall, I thought the food at Laboratorio Kitchen was above average, but that the service and atmosphere helped elevate the place. I would definitely consider going back to try some of their other dishes.

It's already a bit inconvenient to come up with a dish on the spot, but to go the extra mile by caring that it would be satisfying as a main dish was really very kind. And it turned out fantastic. This restaurant has so much going for it in the quality of its ingredients and dish compositions. I would encourage the chef to consider how the can apply their creativity to a dedicated vegan dish as well. The dashi course was savory, rich and tempered well with the pickled spring vegetables, which kept the dish from being too heavy. The rye bread was pillowy and warm. The beef was sliced perfectly, the salted crackled pork eaten with the beef and aioli were a lovely mouthful of textures and rounded flavor. The next course was a beet salad. The golden beets were just tender while still firm. For my main, I selected the Parisian gnocchi with truffle sauce. If I could have eaten all of the sauce with a straw I would have. The gnocchi texture had a nice slight crisp but the potato filling was a tiny bit overdone. The dish was very rich but somehow a bit fluffy. For dessert we tried both the rice pudding and the sorbet with chocolate ganache. The sorbet was a bit tart which went perfectly with the dark chocolate ganache. The service was excellent. Yup, that's right, I told her what I liked and trusted her to pick my three dishes. And listen, when your name is on the menu for crafting a cocktail, I'm going to trust you to pick my meal too! Now for the food: the grilled octopus was amazing. Great flavor, perfect texture, and a really nice balance with the lentils. The shishito peppers were delicious, and the sauce that came with them added the perfect pop of flavor. The beet salad, however, was a little underwhelming. Unfortunately, it didn't have much flavor, so that one left me a bit disappointed. And then there was dessert. Oh man! Hailey did it again. She brought out the sweet corn cheesecake. Sounds weird, I know, but I had to try it. And yes, it definitely had sweet corn! It was a little too weird for my taste buds, but I'm glad I tried it.... Then came the Madeleines. Bite-sized, warm, and absolutely delicious. Fair warning: if you don't tell them to take the bowl away, you WILL eat the entire thing. Man oh man...so good!!! It has been quite a few years since I last visited and was pleasantly surprised by the upgrades to the place. Initially, we were shunted off to a side table and had to ask for a window one, which we were reluctantly given (there were many open ones). The wait staff was pleasant enough (the water and bread service being the best), and we proceeded to order drinks. This is where the issues started. They grouped sparkling wines with roses, which made me think I was ordering a sparkling one when I wasn't. No biggie, but they should change that; I can't be the first or last to make this error. Now to the food. We were very excited to order the tomato & stone fruit salad, and very disappointed when what we got was a tomato salad with three (very thin) peach slices (at least I think they were; not very tasty, so I could not tell). One strike, so I was hoping for better luck with my entrée. That was not much better. I ordered the lobster ravioli, which came with a dense sauce and pasty ravioli, and an overcooked lobster claw buried in it. Not what I expected from a 5-star place. My wife's sashimi was much better, even if her double order of Hamachi was strange. We were not charged for that, and she was given a new choice. The dessert menu listed bread pudding with a 30-minute prep time, but if the staff did not inform you earlier, it's not really a choice, so I ordered the cheesecake, which was acceptable but poorly plated, with not enough fruit or sauce. I see that all the 5 stars are from people who call themselves foodies. I have real reservations about any of them having real five-star food outside of NJ; they should consider trying Manhattan to get an education. In the end, the view is the best part of the place (must give the hard-working staff credit for a nice evening). Will I be back? Probably not for another ten years. It seems to have upgraded its food scene several notches since my last visit so many years ago. Pure nostalgia for me which made for a very flavorful evening. TOP TIP: Street parking in this part of town is a hassle and the local cops keep a sharp eye for illegally parked cars and inebriated drivers. So park further away from the center of town where you are more likely to snag a legal spot on a busy night.
