I had a broken crown that needed replacing and while the front staff and assistants were all very helpful, Dr Teeple simply would not be satisfied until she had drilled away so much of the remaining root of my tooth that she exposed the nerve and caused me to then need a root canal that was absolutely unnecessary until I fell victim to her incompetence. She even drilled off a part of the tooth next to it and when I called her out on it she said that it had broken off on its own....as she was drilling. How very coincidental. The root canal took well over two hours and I was in such agony the entire time I was literally crying in the chair and had to ask her to stop several times. I am normally a great patient and have never experienced so much fear and pain at any other dentist. Dr Teeple set the new crown too far away from the next tooth so now there's a substantial gap that captures EVERYTHING I eat. Chewing is uncomfortable at best and I can't even chew gum without having to floss immediately afterward. I cannot chew on the side of my mouth that was damaged by Dr Teeple without extreme pain. Without exaggeration, I now floss upwards of a dozen times a day because there is nothing I can eat that doesn't get stuck in the "Teeple gap". So now, 11 months later, I still have extreme pain at the tooth she ruined and after seeing a different, competent dentist a couple months ago I discovered that Dr Teeple genuinely did such a poor job with the unnecessary root canal she forced me to have that there's been a steadily growing infection at the site and now I may lose that tooth!!!!! All because I trusted Dr Teeple and Genesis Dental. I contacted the owner/manager and got them to refund the amount they charged me for the unnecessary and botched root canal but since I have to live every day with this ruined tooth and pain I see no reason why I shouldn't share my experience so hopefully no one else unknowingly falls victim to Dr Teeple or Genesis Dental.

I'm on the spectrum and can be super picky about the way my teeth feel in my mouth, however Dr. Dan and one of the newer, amazing staff, Kenna, have been amazing to work with. They talk to me throughout the process, show me what's going on and even have light sensitive glasses available. My new crowns and fillings fill like they actually belong in my mouth and fit properly. The price I'm going to pay (worst case scenario) is even given to me up front. Love this place! All the staff is great! -- Oh, and the best thing, is you can text them about appointments instead of talking on the phone!

Made an appointment for a cleaning only to be told that they don't do x-rays and cleanings at the…read moresame time. It took over 30 min to be seen (apparently my time isn't important). They were able to clean my son's teeth but not mine. Then going over the pricing per my insurance and they nickel and dime everything! Don't go here unless you want multiple appointments and for them to charge you for a basic cleaning. I was not impressed nor will I be returning.

Monarch Dental is not an upfront company. We had pre-approval for a dental procedure that was later…read moredenied by our insurance. The same procedure was covered for my spouse under the same insurance. When we spoke to the insurance company, we discovered the reason for the denial was that the codes approved and billed were not the same. Despite having it re-billed and following up every two weeks since December, the insurance denied it again for the same reason. Monarch's excuse was that the pre-approval is merely an estimate of the amount covered, not specifics. BE AWARE and avoid Monarch Dental unless you want to be in debt to a chain run from California where their offices don't even work together. I highly recommend finding a local office, like we did, that will ensure great care, provide real approvals for your case, and save you from being taken for over a thousand dollars. This is not a company I would endorse or use. The staff has no clue what each other is doing, nor does their corporate office.
