I required fillings for a cavity between two of my front teeth. During the procedure, my two front teeth were severely damaged, creating a gap that did not exist prior to treatment. An attempted buildup was performed afterward, but it failed completely. I was forced to seek treatment from another dentist to repair the damage. This resulted in extensive, unnecessary dental work and a significant amount of out-of-pocket expense. The damage should never have occurred and was the result of poor-quality dentistry.

Today's visit was the beginning of what will require several visits to correct work previously done by a dentist in Arlington. After the examination, the dentist proceeded to tell me that dentures were the best way to go. He did an impression with the existing teeth still in. In two or three weeks the dentures were made and I was called in to get my teeth extracted. The dentist pulled the teeth that needed extracting (actually pulled more than were there ... but that's another topic), placed the dentures into my mouth. I went home and proceeded to 'heal.' The dentures fit like crap ... especially the lower, though the uppers were okay. I went in a few times for 'adjustments.' Then sometime later went in for a "realignment" which was a complete joke. The stuff made the dentures so thick, especially the bottom ones, they wouldn't stay in for 5 minutes even with adhesive; without adhesive, they wouldn't stay in for two seconds. Sooooo ... after $4,000 for the extractions, around $1,800 for the dentures, another $450 for realignment ... I got teeth that are literally worthless. Of course, when I asked for at least a partial refund, I got "gaslit" saying I should have kept coming in to get them to work on them. Naturally paying out more $$$. After over $6,000 paid out, I didn't feel like forking out more knowing the joke was on me. Anyway, if you need a tooth pulled or a cleaning, maybe you can get it done there. But if you want dentures you can actually use, I strongly urge you to go somewhere else. This is a condensed version of the story, but I didn't want to make this too long.
