They had candles and branches set in vases, with flowers for the wedding party tables. The dance floor was pretty small but luckily it was a small wedding. There's space for a photo booth if you decide to have one against the back wall leading to the bathrooms. The catered food was delicious, only the green beans were a bit salty. Cons: Because it's a shared venue you could occasionally hear the music from the club side of the venue. The bathrooms were also shared which prevented the usual bathroom necessities you find during weddings. There was no coat check, only rolling hangers which I periodically checked on since it was closer to the shared doorway. And the structure of the building meant there were pillars blocking some folks during speeches. Overall this was a solid venue to have a wedding, and they did a really good job setting up tables, and with the food.

We took an uber (short drive) but the hotel does have a shuttle if you arrange it. We learned that lyft has more drivers than uber in this area if that is helpful to anyone. The look of it and the functionality. please link me, I need this floor at home! - mattress comfy - very clean rooms, robes presented on beds very nice touch. - dimming lights Staff are nice and they have a little coffee breakfast nook with goodies by front desk as well. This location is very walkable to go get a burger or breakfast sandwich down the street too. Super bonus is the treasury restaurant inside the hotel through the safe door. We are suckers for history and a swanky atmosphere. I wouldn't want to park here - it is a tight lot. Even the Ubers and Lyfts have trouble getting in and out because it is narrow. House tours have always intrigued the nosy side of my personality :) A friend and I went here and really enjoyed it. There is a 25 min video they are offering that was informational (this is a recorded tour from when they weren't offering tours). We did get to enjoy the tour with a guide as well - it was very special getting to see the different rooms and hear the history of the home and the Pettigrews. There is also a museum addition that you go through at the end that is focused on the history of Sioux Falls and very informational. Overall I'd recommend this when you are in town. It was interesting.
