Pumpkins are 40 cents a pound, we bought a decent sized one for $5! Nice to support a local farm rather than Kroger. It's not a large barn but it's just right for a quick stop. I purchased Chicken Breast, Whole Milk, and Quark cheese (which is a european cheese, very unique). The transaction was simple and pickup was easy. The lady was friendly and informative. I asked her when certain steaks might be back in stock and she let me know they had several cows at processing so in 2 weeks. The chicken was excellent. The whole milk tasted better than any milk ive had before. The Quark cheese is my new favorite cheese. I mixed it with honey and used it on bagels! I also used some in a tomato cream sauce! Prices are reasonable for a local farm!

Sweetie got some lavendar for cooking. We shared a chicken salad sandwich that was excellent, though small, and a lavendar blueberry scone, also excellent. Baby K had fun, and there were plenty of kids there. A nice experience, but too far out of the way to be worth coming back for us. If you're in Wilmington or even Cinci, probably worth it.

My wife planned a surprise 2 day/1 night getaway for us and what a nice surprise it turned out to…read morebe. We wanted a place close to several Southern Ohio Points of Interest and it is very well located to Hillsboro, Bainbridge, Pike Lake State Park, Rocky Fork and Paint Creek. When we arrived, we were greeted by Jane & Doug - the proprietors. We immediately felt at home and loved the whole place. We stayed in the Rose Room, which was great. The room was comfortable, large and the bathroom was nice too with a great shower! We spent time with Jane & Doug talking and learning about their farm and getting a tour of the entire house Doug has built for them - what an amazing talent he has for woodwork. It was interesting to learn that the wood used in the house from trim to floors came from trees on the property - most of the wood had never left the farm. The house has tons of room for much larger groups and I could see us taking other family & friends for a weekend getaway in the future. We walked the property, which was really beautiful and even got to go on a golf cart ride a couple of times. There were homemade chocolate chip cookies and milk in the evening and in the morning Jane made us a true farm style breakfast that included coffee, orange juice, eggs, sausage, stewed apples and homemade scones - YUM! One other treasure is Luke, their 4 year old Golden Retriever, he only added to the warmth of the experience at this secluded getaway. My wife and I have travelled all over the country and stayed in dozens of places during our 22 years together and I can say on behalf of both of us, this place is a treasure if you are looking to get away, relax and meet some very nice people. You can visit or disappear to a cozy chair and read a book or take a nap - the experience can be whatever you decide to make it. We left feeling like we'd known them for years. Thank you Jane & Doug for a wonderful visit, we hope to see you again in the not too distant future.

I wish this did have an actual barn feeling, so to connect with the name, but it looked like a typical steel support open floorplan building. So if you are having a reunion or family get-together this would be nice for multiple uses. However, this is located out in the sticks and in so I doubt the cost to rent may be worth it, but again I don't have first-hand knowledge of the pricing. There was food provided both at a concession area, which I did not try, but a family member brought back the typical nachos and cheese, so likely just the normal. The food before the show was not anything special and I am not sure if this was an in house catering job or another company, so I can't put much fault on the location. If it was an outside caterer, I would suggest that they procure a caterer worth the meal tickets, since the meal was $12, which I would give it $7-8. The show, again was not my desired performance, was very disjointed in its execution and WAY TOO LONG, 3 HOURS. The lighting was pretty sad, since they had at least 20 hanging spot lights, but they didn't use them effectively. The stage seemed to be may be a foot above the floor, which was not elevated and just the flat floor, making for the classic tall person in front of a shorter or kid situation. The seats were fine to sit in for the first hour, but with the food service runs at 5-6 and the performance starts at 7, which runs 3 HOURS. Yeah these seats were horrible for the duration you were using them.
