Along with apples, they have pumpkins, gords, indian corn, and the most amazing CIDER!!!! They press the cider at the orchard!

For many, a trip to Karnes Orchard is like a walk down memory lane. This old fashioned family fruit orchard has a new generation of trees that are the perfect height to pick your own! Offering many of the classic orchard varieties (McIntosh, Melrose, Winesap), as well as some new favorites (Honeycrisp, Fuji, Pink Lady) you can stock up for all your fall baking and eating needs. The orchard owners run the market themselves, open every Saturday during the fall from 9am-7pm. They are always happy to answer questions about the apples or give tours of the orchard.

A variety apples. There were 4 types when we went. Trees are easy to pick and abundant. The apples were large as well! Cider was some of the best cider we've had before.

While they don't have an indoor restroom, I was grateful to find they had a very clean port-a-potty. Because that was the very first thing my toddler asked to do! This place is adorable! Their little house where you get your basket and then pay is so sweet!! There are chairs out front by beautiful flowers (talk about perfect for a picture). They provide small wooden baskets that hold two empty cardboard pints. The nice boy at the counter explained what was growing where and we were on our way! We came at a time where blackberries and raspberries were available. I have to say that things were pretty picked over on this particular day - while the bushes were decently loaded with berries, most of them were green. While I enjoyed the hunt this provided, my toddler eventually lost interest. Go figure. We ended up with one pint of blackberries. We visited the raspberry bushes, but there were literally only a handful left. They'd run out over the weekend, so that why we visited on a Wednesday. So make sure you check their facebook page or call ahead in case they close early.

Emailed back very quickly and made sure i was taken care of. I would ABSOLUTELY recommend them!

I ordered Autumn Amber - Coturnix Quail Hatching Eggs on March 7th, 2025. The expected shipping stated 5-7 weeks. When the 7th week came and went, I messaged them. I got a short response from Zack that they would ship at the end of the first week in May. When that came and went, I inquired again. Another short response, stating that they will make the shipping label and send the eggs when they've been laid. We are going on the tenth week, and I have nothing to show for it. I emailed Jenna with no response. No one has explained anything. Just a one sentence reply. That doesn't speak well for customer service. They have my money and are treating me like I did something wrong. So, no. I would not recommend Myshire Farms. And if they haven't shipped by the end of this week, I will be taking it to the BBB, on top of demanding a refund. Customers deserve better service than this. I am a pretty patient and understanding fella, but this is ridiculous.

About 30 mins outside of Columbus near Orient, the farm is easy to get to. They are solar-powered, too, which makes my heart happy! They have an awesome team who works hard and always with a smile. The shop has great treats and gifts. They have SO many varieties of gourds and pumpkins, too. Some I've never seen anywhere else. You can purchase pumpkins from just outside the shop if you don't want to take the wagon ride out to the field. There's also a little tractor train ride for kids and a small corn maze (both for a bit extra, maybe $4 each). They have goats to pet and big hay bales you can play on. If you choose the tractor wagon ride out to pick your pumpkin, it's $10 which includes any pumpkin you pick/can carry - no limit on color, size, variety. They rotate their fields every year so we have seen different field areas over the years. This year we didn't see the bee hives they keep on our train ride out. I hope their bees are still doing well! And now my favorite: The pumpkin donuts. They make them fresh right there and they are melt-in-your-mouth delicious. The donuts alone are worth the drive! They have chocolate and cherry donuts too but pumpkin is where it's at. I start thinking about these donuts in the summer, they're that good!! So whatever you do, don't skip the donuts!! Thank you Logstroh family for creating such a happy place for making memories. Here's to 40 more years!

The shop is full of goodies like handcrafted soap, fudge, jams and jellies, wood works, quilted objects and the list goes on and on. They had chocolate milk and even Creamsicle milk!
