She makes sure all animals are vetted by making sure all have their shots and medicals records. They each have gated sleeping areas, she can give scheduled meds, they have activity times, and she gives them lots of love and attention. We had to leave them this past Christmas 24' because my daughter was having a baby out of state. Ms. Julie took great care of our boys, sent updates and pics. They also get a progress report card upon pick up. Her prices are a great values for the service she provides. She also does drop -off/pick-up and can go to the home to feed/walk. We all love her! I entrusted Camp Bow Wow with my dog over this past weekend (9/11-9/14). During her stay, I would occasionally check the cameras to make sure she was doing okay: a service the camp offers. On 9/14 in particular, my dog was let out early in the morning, put up in a kennel following a "time-out" for rough playing (supposed to be 15 minutes) and was not let back out until 2pm after I repeatedly called requesting my dog be let out for the service I pay for. When watching to see if she was out, I noticed this staffer repeatedly pick up dogs by their collars and throw them back down, including my own dog. He would approach dogs and they would run away from him fearfully. Additionally, when dogs bark the staff (multiple staffers) spray them in the face with a cleaning bottle filled with water. My dog was wet in the face/head when I picked her up and they wrote it off as her "playing in the water bowl" --after I had seen the staff spray her in the face. Upon picking my dog up I spoke with Ashley the manager privately in the office. She asked me to send these to her email, as the staff was having a meeting that night. I spoke with her about this behavior and raised concerns on dogs with chronic neck pain who are being picked up by their collars aggressively, to which she told me that the camp does have. During her stay I was also notified of an improperly diluted chemical that the dogs had access to during their stay this weekend. They rinsed the dogs off following the incident and claimed that my dog has shown no signs of exposure. All four of her feet were brick-red with irritation and I had her seen by the ER staff at LSU School of Veterinary Medicine. These images attached are just a still-shot of the abuse that occurs at the camp, the full videos are disturbing. All images were taken from a screen recording I took within a 30 minute timeframe. Beware--the facility does NOT record their video footage. My animals will never return to this facility and I am ashamed to have trusted their "trained" staff with the care of my pet.

When I picked him up and got him home, I noticed he had a scab in his head. I called Dogtopia to inquire if there had been an issue about which I was not informed. The gentleman with whom I spoke told me my dog was not in a scuffle but he would ask he colleagues if they knew anything. I was told that my dog was put in a smaller crate than I expected (I asked about the size of the crate in which he would be housed prior to booking) and rubbed his head raw. I was surprised that no one called me and was told they had over 75 dogs so he guessed they just didn't get around to it. No concern was displayed, no apology that my dog was hurt while in their care...nothing! We will not be going back.
