Breakfast was fantastic. The hosts take great care to insure a pleasant time in this historic cottage. We learned a great deal of history about the cottage and the era of the Civil War. The spacious house has the original woodwork, including staircases and flooring, and is decorated beautifully. It takes your breath away! For the bed and breakfast experience, it was also outstanding. Your room is super clean with a comfortable bed and beautiful furnishings with modern conveniences. Tom and Tracey are communicative and welcoming hosts ready to offer you the history of the house and area, local recommendations or let you explore at your convenience. The male, Jaime is much more welcoming and understanding than the female(I can't remember her name), but they make a great one, two punch. Upon arrival we realized we had forgotten a few items so Ashley(?) Took us to the local target to acquire the forgotten items. We were then ready for dinner but had to wait for almost 2 hours for Jaime to arrive, but the wait was well worth it. After dinner, which we had to pay for, we returned to the b and b for a brief conversation before bed. We had requested a king bed but were lead to a room with a full bed. (The main reason for a 4 star review instead of a 5 star). In the morning we were greated with cinnamon rolls before our departure. The female requested a hug, which was a bit unprofessional but added to the experience. All in all a great stay and would recommend to others!
