It seems that one of the requirements of marriage is to give and take so here I am as a new Forum Credit Union customer. This location is directly on Monument Circle with two ATMs at the entrance and three tellers inside. It's on the small and outdated side with drop ceilings and dark lighting. With its location on the Circle, parking can be trickier certain times of day. The staff has been friendly during my two experiences over the last month. I imagine this location would be much more convenient if you already work downtown and could walk over.

Not a great location if you were driving. It also was not a full service branch. All of the service was done via ATM. Deposit, withdrawal, etc, with a person to help you out, but not a teller who could help you with a transaction. Apparently, Forum got the message on the lack of customer service there, because it is now a full service branch, complete with Forum's stellar customer service reps. It helps that the branch is very nicely laid out too. Now, I find this branch convenient when I am downtown for other events and have already parked. Why? Because it is in a nice central location: Monument Circle! And ironically, the last time I went here. it was just to use the ATM. HA!

However, since I've been spending so much time in Hendricks and Putnam Counties I've had multiple opportunities to visit this Avon branch. This branch is located directly off U.S. 36 and is in the same complex as the Regal Theatre, the new Ford's Garage, Portillo's, and a few other establishments. This IMCU has quite a bit of land. It used to have an ATM out in an adjacent parking lot, however, most of the IMCU branches switched to a smart teller and that caused everything to be relocated. Whether using an ATM, a video teller, or going inside, I've always had great experiences here. There's a couple accessible parking spots and a pretty decent ramp to get up to their sidewalk. They have the usual security doors, however, it works well and everyone is super friendly. After receiving some unexpected funds, I stopped off to explore options for using them wisely. I was presented with options. Each option was explained and we chose the best one for my situation. I appreciated that they were cautious about my account, however, once their security measures were addressed they also helped me work toward meeting my needs. I wish I lived a bit closer to this one as I would no doubt use it more often, however, it's definitely not uncommon now for me to stop in when I'm going to or from Putnam County. This has quickly become one of my favorite IMCU branches in Central Indiana.

Here's mine…read more Getting a hand written thank you card from your neighborhood bank branch is good enough reason to stay loyal, but my relationship with BMO goes a lot further back and I will never switch banks if I can help it. Here's why: I've been a BMO customer since they bought Marshall and Ilsley Bank. I was a Marshall and Ilsley customer since they bought First Indiana Bank. Before I became a First Indiana Bank customer, I had a variety of terrible banking experiences with mega banks where I paid out hundreds of dollars in stacked overdraft fees at a time. I thought all the banks were out to get me. Way back when I had little kids we were victims of a vehicle break-in and the person who busted into our minivan ran off with a checkbook. The thief wrote $4700 in bad checks within two or three days. I mostly went to the Nora branch back then and there was a gentleman who took care of us through our mishap. We never had to worry about our bank account being drained. We didn't have problems with a single payment we had to make. Not a mortgage payment. Not a utility payment. Not even a cell phone bill. When this break-in occurred, I wasn't too far removed from those scrappy, youthful days where I *did* have to make choices on what bills to pay on time, and which ones could wait. I was quite relieved. After all, I had just bought my first house not too long prior and I did NOT want to screw that up. Lots of overdraft fees would have likely sunk me. That gentleman at the Nora branch said hello to me by name when I walked in from that incident onward. Eventually I moved to Carmel and the people at that branch got to know me by first name, too. I went on to pick up a (now closed, thankfully) HELOC and they were very helpful throughout the process. Now I live in Broadripple and I get thank you cards that not only come in adorable sizes, but also identify me by who I am; not just by my name. I've always felt respected as a BMO customer but this just drives the message home. I appreciate the card and Starbucks will be on me in the very near future.

This is the last location of all the Home Bank branches I have visited and reviewed. The design of…read morethe interior of the building is the same as their other new buildings, like Mooresville and Greenwood. They have a high arched ceiling making them very distinctive. I love the front entrance with their power assisted doors. Just push a button and the doors open automatically like hospitals and medical facilities. Tellers were waiting inside to help customers. I was the only customer at 10 am but another customer came inside later and was assisted by another teller. I have been banking with Home Bank for five years and I have no complaints. Even though I have accounts with two credit unions, Home Bank is my main financial institution and home to my main checking account.

The staff here is friendly and knowledgeable and have gone out of their way to make my banking experiences efficient and accurate. It has happened almost every time I've spoken with a call center person, over many years.... I'm an amateur linguist and am good with accents. I engage them in conversation and find out where they are calling from. Huntington Bank should not be giving out our private information to people on the other side of the world. Think of how many places our information has to go through before it ever gets to a call center there: probably many. Those call center workers may not even have a security clearance. They have access to our names, address, phone number, bank account information, etc. 2 tellers, 1 supposedly a manager, adamantly denied this and another "manager" also denied it. I was told I'd wait only about 5 min. to talk with her, then she told me it'd be another 20 min., at least. When she finally spoke with me, she was very passive-aggressive and rude with me. I don't think she even understood I was against the sending our information to the other side of the world; I think she thought I was racist, which I'm not. I called the customer service while walking to my car and once again, got someone working in the Philippines. I went back in the bank and told the teller that I had a person on the phone in the Philippines, and the tellers and manager refused to talk with the person on the phone, therefore passively avoiding the issue. Classic. The manager continued to be passive aggressive and rude. She had no understanding of "customer service." Why didn't she say, 'I'm sorry, I didn't know that. Let me call head office and pass your comment along" or something similar? She also wouldn't give me the phone number for their corporate office (not Customer Service.) She and the other employees insisted their corporate office # that they call for staff issues is the same # as the Customer Service #. If that were true, then they would have been glad to talk with a representative. But they refused to. Talk about avoidance and failure to be transparent with their customers! I drive out of my way just not to go to that location because of their poor service.

Minimal appointments were available with the manager the next day, so I adjusted my schedule as did my business partner to ensure we kept the appointment and was timely arriving. I checked in at window 5 minutes before my appointment and was created at least 20 minutes later. The manger was apologetic and provided explanation. When meeting with her she was patient and addressed all my needs in a very professional manner explaining and proving explanation each step of the way. Staff was helpful as usual. This experience was pleasant and helpful. In the past I had encountered some y with getting an appointment or immediate service. However, services always given with a smile.
