First off I enjoyed shopping here! There was a huge sale going on. It was October so part of it was getting the Summer stuff out on sale and the Fall stuff was all out too. They had huge discounts going on anywhere from 50 - 60% off. Prices were great here in womens clothing. This Macy's is one of the better stocked and better organized ones I have been to. There was a wide selection of brands and items to choose from. The employees were friendly. I was greeted and asked if I needed any help. I was in here browsing around to see if there was anything I would like for me or my daughter but sadly nothing really stuck out. This place has a clean and organized store with a lot of brands and varieties to choose from. This wuold be a great place to look for a gift for someone or even for yourself. If I am ever in Delaware again I will make it a point to come back here.

We were here last Saturday shopping, but not for the happy occasion people are normally there for - my grandmother passed away so we needed a dress for her to wear for her funeral. Though we probably were a bit all over the place in what we were saying we wanted, Conlin did a great job of sifting through it, taking in the info from us and the pictures we showed of my mom-mom to give an idea of what we wanted. She pulled an option that was beautiful and we felt my grandmother would've liked/chosen herself. Conlin also helped us in finding some matching jewelry that complimented the dress. The cost of everything was actually pretty good and affordable in my opinion, considering it was a formal dress and jewelry. There was BOGO for the jewelry and, again, the dress itself was very reasonable. While Tyson was wonderful during my initial dress fitting, my subsequent experiences have been extremely distressing. On April 17, 2026, I drove two hours to pick up my wedding dress. Upon arrival, I was not greeted and waited for 30 minutes. After someone finally took my name, another 15 minutes passed before I had to seek out a manager myself. She admitted she had forgotten about me and the purpose of my visit, despite my having just explained I was there for my dress. This made me feel completely overlooked during what should have been a happy milestone. I did not write a negative review because the manager was so kind. Furthermore, I still have not received my veil. Although I paid for shipping, I discovered it was not initially sent. After calling to follow up, I was not given tracking information. Even when they stated they will email me. When I called today she gave me the tracking number and upon review it stated it was delivered on April 28, 2026, but it never arrived at my address. Previous communication regarding this tracking information was also handled poorly. Given the significant investment I have made at your store, I expected a much higher level of service. I also have my dress alterations scheduled in August and I do not want to even deal with this company/location. I am not sure how to move forward with this situation. Since this is suppose to be a happy experience to get my dress and veil for my wedding. I am more stressed now because of all this.

I was skeptical at first, but thought I'd try out at least one blouse. After the initial fitting, I liked the concept - get measured, pick materials, buttons, styles. In a couple of weeks, my first blouse arrived. I wore it to work the next day. I received more compliments regarding that blouse than I had received for any other item of clothing that I'd worn to work in my entire career. The size was perfect, especially in the bust area which is my biggest issue. After several months, I am still happy with my purchase. I've even ordered a few additional blouses in different styles and colors. I've been very happy with all the purchases. I've even ventured purchasing a couple of pairs of shoes. I love the shoes, the fit and the quality. My next purchase is a suit. I'll let you know how it goes with that. If the suits are as good as the blouses, I'd upgrade this business to a 5 star. One staff member (not sure of her name) in particular has a tendency to be incredibly standoffish and unwelcoming, with the staff members seeming to be wrapped up in their own conversation for the entirety of our 15 minute stop into the Brinton Lake location, with not so much as a glance, let alone a greeting. While I've shopped at this location for years, I feel confident in the decision to leave the site and drive a distance to another location. Or, better yet, I'll just shop online. As someone who has worked in retail, it's not hard to show customers politeness and pleasantries, even in the slightest of ways. If I would've bought them, I feel I would've caused too much of an inconvenience to the employees. So when I entered the store it was around 8pm, they close at 9pm. The Cashiers looked at me and my collegue like oh crap someone is in here. We weren't even greeted, there was 3 employees there and no one said welcome in or even hello. They just stared at us. I started browsing around and saw that they were counting the cash register money on the cashier counter. I thought that was odd since closing was at 9pm. It felt pretty obvious they were done with the day so while I did see what I wanted, I walked out and instead ordered it online.
