The back room with clothes was the most disorganized mess of trash I'd ever seen. A cardboard sign reading "linens" with anything from wash cloths to pillow cases crumpled together, a few piddly garments hung in a back corner for "children" from 3 months to 5t, carelessly.. Was debating how I wanted to write this review because there was good and bad that came out of this. May end up a little lengthy. I came in to the store to purchase a slim fit suit. I have an athletic build so was hoping to find something tailored to that. Lindsey and Alex J helped me for almost an hour a lot of credit to them I would have already left but they were extremely accommodating. I had decided on a light grey slim fit. After trying on multiple jackets finally found one that fit very well slim fit 1905 40R - now these are suppose to come with 34 slim fit pants. But after putting on the pants that were with them, they were at-least a 38-40 waist and not even close to slim fit. Alex worked tirelessly to find pants for me. Apparently the coding were the same for multiple pants. So they agreed on some variation of the pants and would alter them. (See photo 1). I don't believe they were the 34 slim pants but they could have been. Just do not resemble it. Aside from length of visit and the organization of the store a little off they made it right and I appreciate their help on it. Here is where my trouble started. I got the pants back and they were still very baggy and long ($29) later. I am 25. Another guy around my age was in there when I was going to pick up looking for his pants to have the modern, slim fit. I overheard the gentleman who is asst manager tell him "we might as well call what you are looking for ladies tights". Ok.... Now I was told what I needed and wanted was extreme tailoring ($28) to get the fit I was looking for. After the tailor coming out and working with me - no Lindsey or Alex this time. She was a bit disgruntled at me.. this was the fit I wanted but eventually said ok. I took a pair of state and liberty pants back in to match that fit. Finally got everything done. The pants look okay, nothing is ever perfect I understand that. And I appreciate the help of Lindsey and Alex. My suggestion is if you are looking for a modern slim athletic fit pant try your luck somewhere else. I was up to $57 in modification for the pants that cost $80. I have gotten 2 suits already this summer at the Greenville location and didn't have any issues. After it was all said and done here are the results in photo 2. I appreciate Lindsey and Alex work, the other man working not so much, seemed to try and tell you what you should have instead of asking what you want. A $250 suit turned into over $325 with all modifications which is still a decent price just wish It was a bit easier than 4 trips there and back.

She is attentive and works hard to satisfy your shopping experience. I will not go to the store if she is not there. Al is rude,poor attitude and just does not know how to talk to people. I order more on line than from the store. I have complained several times about him and nothing changes. Lynsday addressed my treatment from Al and apologized. Call before going in.

My husband rented suits for himself and his groomsmen for our wedding in May. He had the worst…read moreexperience working with Len. Len was inappropriate, the suits were old fashioned, and the process was convoluted. My husband wanted to handle the suit rentals because I was dealing with the bulk of the planning. He reached out to Len and met with him to discuss looks. When my husband went to make final decisions, Len required him to bring me along. I know nothing about suits so it was entirely pointless for me to be there. Len then handed me a bridal magazine as a way to appease me. He also kept forgetting conversations with my husband and then accused my husband of confusing his "white guys" in the shop. His personality is quite jarring - every time we would tell him what we wanted he would talk over us and instead share information that wasn't helpful. My husband paid for the at home measuring for suits. Len showed up without any of the notes from previous conversations with my husband so they basically had to start from scratch. Each time my husband would meet with him he'd have to go over the order again with Len. And there were still errors in the final pick up. The suits were completely old fashioned and not the best fit for the groomsmen or the fathers. My father's suit was incredibly ill suited and he takes such care in his appearance. I know it upset him to have to walk me down the aisle in such a bad suit. My father noted that their product was dated. Would suggest anyone to shop around instead. The only positive is that my husband's suit was free because his groomsmen rented from the shop.

Stop by last night for an event the store hosted, and it was refreshing to see how this venerable…read morestore has revamped itself for the ladies! I had not passed by since before the pandemic so it's definitely been a while for me, but I was pleasantly surprised to see the array of upscale offerings here in Center City. It was mostly accessories that would appeal to me, since unlike Saks Fifth Avenue, they do not have a plus size section aka anything north of a size 10 in clothing. But their handbags and their shoes were as beautiful as they come. If you're looking for anything from Victoria Beckham, I think this might be the one place in Philadelphia to find her dresses. But the store gets props for featuring a handmade cashmere and mohair sweater line that was simply dazzling! I was inspired enough that I will return!
