I came upon this boutique by chance and stopped in on a whim after the shop was recommended to me by another store owner downtown. Actually, I'd passed by this charming little boutique several times and hadn't noticed that it's a boutique because it's actually located inside a converted old home in a combination residential/business area on a shady, tree-lined side street. Once I walked inside, I found so many cute things that I didn't know what to look at first, but I immediately spied a bunch of cute Paula Deen kitchenware/decor I tucked into one corner and I immediately made a beeline towards it. Elsewhere, my husband I found a big clearance/sale section located in another room and tons of eclectic decor items, including candles, pillows, pottery, glassware, some vintage pieces, plus racks of clothing and accessories and so much more. Every room of this old home was chock full of unique wares (don't think about not hitting the second floor-there's even more in store upstairs). Don't forget to stop in the bathroom, too, because most of the fragrances, lotions, cosmetics, and candles are in there! It smelled so good, it almost felt like a spa. Truthfully, I could have spent a fortune in here, though I managed to curb my inner shopaholic and pare down my purchases to a few items, including some Paula Deen pottery and a carved wood decorative knock knack. While some things were typical Chinese imported goods, I actually found plenty of Made in USA merchandise, including handmade box candles, pottery and accessories, which I was pleased to see. There was an Easter Egg scavenger hunt sale going on here (several downtown retailers participated- it was the week of Easter), so I grabbed a plastic Easter egg out of a bag to find out my store discount, which was 30% off my total purchase, so that was great. I signed up for their email list, too, so now I get notifications on special promotional events and sales. Customer service here was excellent, too. Overall, a great shopping experience.

My husband and I went to look for blue jeans for him. Of course, I was going to look around myself. We were not greeted as we walked in. FIVE employees on sales floor and not one asked if we needed any help. They would just whisper to one another and giggle and continue acting busy. The store is also simply too small for everything they are trying to shove in there. Oh, and if your needing to try on something.... forget it. You have to hunt down an associate and ask for a changing room, then get treated like you just ruined their whole day.

Aside from super cute clothes and shoes (boho tops, platform sandals, wedges, leggings, loungewear), I found some adorable necklaces and earrings, a few handbags (higher end materials) and a bunch of nice home decorative accents, like candles from The Rustic House line, which I was told were made exclusively in Tennessee (manager mentioned it). Most of the clothes were from area designers and such and the selection and prices were really comparable to nearby boutiques and big box retailers. I liked a lot of the pieces, but only picked up a few as I needed room in my luggage to pack for the trip back north. There was a surprise scavenger hunt sale going on, so I drew for a discount code at the registers and was pleased to have received a nice percentage reduction on my purchase (30%), which is a healthy savings. Yay for surprise scavenger hunt sales (a few of the local boutiques downtown were participating that week)! I'll take a nice sale any day! The manager also told me that I could order anything from the store and have it shipped out of state, too, so that's a bonus. She also told me to check out their FB and IG pages, too, both of which seem chock full of interesting finds. I just checked out their IG and they have some nice items on there. I'm about to do some online shopping now..... The new stock is adorable. Service was friendly and the manager-owner chatted with my husband and I for a bit and mentioned a couple of other local shops I might actually like to check out. First rate shopping experience at a local independent biz.

I was surprised to see such an eclectic boutique like this in such a small town, but it was a very pleasant surprise and I found a few other similar, unique shops in the area, too, so I was geeked about that. It was definitely more akin to funky boutiques and gift shops that usually dot Melrose Ave, but I was obviously happy to find such a treasure in downtown Calhoun. I found some of the the cutest tops and dresses here. I noted that this particular shop only carried limited numbers of each design and most clothing items didn't come in several sizes (or multiple items in different sizes, either), probably as a way to ideally keep the styles varied and more unique, not typical cookie cutter styles often sold in mass market quantities in department stores or shopping malls. In other words, this wasn't Banana Republic, if you know what I mean. Not everyone around town will be wearing the same identical outfit when boutiques actually carry only select numbers of each piece. The store layout, its merchandise, price point, and customer service all reminded me of a more niche boutique that you see in larger cities, like LA or Chicago. All of the labels were from clothing companies that I hadn't seen before and most seemed to be Made in the USA, too. I have to say, I liked that a lot. I definitely thought the skirts, dresses, tops and jackets seemed more upmarket in comparison to what I would've thought before stepping into this quiet little boutique. Don't judge a book by its cover because the unassuming facade couldn't have belied what treasures were behind the front door more than it did. Other than clothing, I found a bunch of cute handbags and custom jewelry. The salespeople were super friendly and went out of their way to be helpful. I wound up picking up some jewelry that I couldn't pass up and it was on sale (most of the downtown stores ran a Pre-Easter sale that weekend), so it didn't cost that much, either. Honestly, I regret not picking up a cute lace dress that I saw, too, but that's my mistake in not picking it up before it sold out. Bummer. Overall, excellent attention to customer service and great selection. I

This store is really worth the visit. I had the pleasure of talking to Stasey, the owner, she was super nice while answering my questions about what books I could sell or trade. You can negotiate the price but so far when they've thrown a price at me I was happy to pay what they asked. They sell comic books, games, puzzles, DVDs and more. The shop is off Allatoona Gateway (used to be Glade Road) - behind Taco Bell, Pizza Hut & KFC. Plenty of parking - the shopping center is not usually busy. The owners are friendly, fun and helpful.

I scored this 1980's Minolta book in almost perfect condition for less than $5.

The only thing I didn't like was the baked goods. I purchased a sourdough. It had caraway which is similar to rye and I do not like rye. I did however like the croissants I purchased but on the flip side the five cookies were meh. So more was bad than good. The other vendors I purchased from were wonderful. Eggs, bone-in pork chops, ground beef , dog treats (chicken claws) three types of greens, arugula, Bibb and romaine, and a frozen chicken were some of the things I purchased. I did notice only one vendor had fruit, strawberries, which sold out quickly. The next time I go I hope there is more to choose from. I will definitely return.

The store itself is labeled as an antique market, which I didn't see many antiques that are actually sought after and it's been that way each time I've been there (about 4 or 5 visits in around 2 months time). It's more of a boutique with booths that local people fill with stuff they either have made or just don't want anymore (like an indoor yardsale). The items we were even remotely interested in were not exactly what we were looking for but we could've made do for the right price, right? Well, every single thing I inquired about and asked if that was the best price possible I got the response "yes, that's the best price because that seller never comes down on price". I got this same response on multiple items throughout the store at different booths. Never a call to any seller like she stated in a response to my wife's review, just simply told "no, can't go lower." Again NOT A SINGLE CALL TO ANY SELLER WAS MADE. And the items I'm referring to, one was priced at 850 for an older looking (not antique, just not very new and possibly could have been repainted to look aged cause that's the vibe I got from it but not real antique looking) hutch and the other was 400 for a newer looking dining room table plus 150 for the bench to go with it. 550 for a used, modern table and chairs with bench. 800 gets you a brand spanking new one all chairs and also has a table leaf to make longer or shorter. So why spend 550 plus tax for a used one from and "antique market" and it's not even an antique... OK so on to her attitude. She was not even close to genuinely respectful or nice. Multiple times she smirked and made a face at a couple of the questions we asked and numerous times she sighed out of annoyance when asked if any prices were negotiable. Her attitude the entire time we were there was completely unprofessional. She acted as if we were getting on her nerves. Now onto the "brand new" pieces of furniture in the back. Not too sure how many different options as far as color and style were, but the big concern I had was the store has a no return policy that the store has INCLUDES THE BRAND NEW PIECES OF FURNITURE! This, to me, is unacceptable. I can't and wont agree with selling a BRAND NEW pc of furniture, and getting home and having an issue that you might want to return or even exchange for. Depending on type of item, most brand new purchases have some length of warranty, but nope, not Pintage. From lack of selection to scamming people by selling bra d new merchandise with a buy as is/no warranty or return agreement along with it. We definitely won't be back to this shithole. Looking back it seems like this place has progressively gotten worse each time we visited it, not only lately like I said like 4 or 5 times in the last 2 months or so but even since we first visited years ago and visits in between then and now. It's really gone down hill and is just about at the bottom now. Only thing I can think is maybe the booth rentals are so high that the sellers have to overprice everything and can't budge on price or the have negative profit when comes time to pay rent. Well if I'm anywhere near correct, I'd say her attitude towards a single customer Is potentially causing her sellers to lose sales and in the long run lose profit. And if she was that rude and disrespectful with us, I would imagine we haven't been the only ones. I also noticed in the last 24 hrs, her Google reviews have been flooded with 5 stars. She's washing away bad reviews to keep them unseen. FILTER your reviews people! Oh and yea, she loved the purse. I had to vomit immediately leaving your store, and it worked perfect, catching everything that came up and didn't leak a drop in our new car! So yes this is indeed got a high five review but it's gonna be a no for me. Zero stars, not five star review, like I said in beginning.
