If you love books, this is the place to be! Check out the local authors display! If Stacey can't help you, I'm sure Morty can.

The whole place is just so welcoming, and everyone was so helpful. Just going there brightened my spirits. I highly recommend it.

Amazing selection. The staff is super kind and helpful. Don't buy from the big box book stores, great quality and well loved.

BEST used book store in town! They have a whole FREE section of books, bookmarks, and stickers…read morewhich my son loves! Great vibe, great prices, and they offer an exchange program too! Friendly service. Saw a few groups of women playing ma jong, very neat

Upon entry the place was well lit and buzzing with excitement for the author who was doing a signing. I wasn't paying close attention and didn't realize what it was at first, but there was so much animated conversation that I assumed it was a book club that was really enjoying themselves. It made the recovery from the free book cart mess easy to recover from. The staff was all super friendly and helpful. They went out of their way to search for titles and authors I was looking for and were happy to add more books to my pile (*wink). The only downer was that the shelves had no obvious organization and it was hard to shop on your own. Nothing is labeled consistently and I couldn't tell where one section ended and another began. One section even had a pink sticky note with a hand-written label. The staff also didn't keep a proper inventory and half of books the computer said they had were no where to be found. Bottom line is that this place was welcoming and had good prices. They do not buy books but will offer in-store credit for books you no longer want. Check this place out.

Customer service was polite. Huge store selling books, games, toys, art kits, candy…read more They also purchase these things. I dropped off few movie CDs, pack of Dale Erhardt cards. I really didn't expect much. However, I left my items and they gave me a receipt, and promised to text me when the evaluation was done. My ID was checked many times So they did text me. Since I wanted cash and no store credit I earned $1.97 instead of $3.54. What I learned from this is, that bartering might work for some people, if they are trading in things. This is not for me. Store was clean and well organized. Next time I will donate things.

I usually come here to shop and decided to sell with them for their buyback program…read more I just have to suggest that if you are looking to get decent amount of anything for your items be aware that they do not give you a lot. I sold over 3 bins of items to them. Not only did they not state how long it would take but the girl checking me just to the buying was not very kind. She seemed annoyed to be there. Both me and my family member dropped off our items 6 minutes after they opened and made plans to do things in the area thinking it wouldn't take long. We were in the area for a good while and my family member received a text that their items were ready. I believed that mine would soon be done to follow. A few more hours passed and I still didn't get a text so I called in to check. I was extremely disappointed when I was told that my buy hadn't been started. They stated it was because they were busy. Although, when I questioned if they were busy how were they able to finish my family members buy so quickly. They didn't have a response for me other than they had other buys from the day before that they had to finish. I still don't understand how my family members stuff still got finished if that was the reason. When I asked how much longer it would take they couldn't give me an answer. I do not live close so this was extremely upsetting for me because if they had a lot left over from the day before it should've been stated when I dropped it off. About two hours before closing I got my text so I had to drive and pick up my stuff. Once I arrived I was told I was getting a very small amount for items that were in brand new condition or to get 50% more value if I chose store credit. I really wish they updated their system and valued the items at a higher price point and not such a drastic change from cash to store credit. I only came here and settled for the cash because I am clearing up space for a move. If you want what your items are valued don't ever come here.

I use to haunt this place day and night back in the days when I had my parents to mooch off…read moreof...(now that I'm having to pay my own bills and...you know...work)...I'm not so cozy with this place anymore....(this working thing is really putting a crimp into my lifestyle)...I still love this place its just that I now get most of my books off of Amazon.....I can't do Kindle...reading from it gives me a headache....I'm still old school.....There isn't much in ways of things I don't like about the store. Yes Amazon sells it for a lot less and the sections on Amazon can be better...but not always... For example if you're looking for hardcore literature Like Ann Radcliffe or Horace Walpole then Barnes and Noble is the place to go. Amazon has it as well but their selection is sketchy...they may not offer you the best edition out there. If you're looking for Business books then Amazon is a better option because I don't think this particular Barnes & Noble's business books selection is as good as it could be. On the other hand they have a pretty good manga and young adult selection....I imagine those books are more popular than say Originals by Adam Grant.....They had signed copies of John Green's latest Turtles All the Way Down....and even though I said I wasn't going to buy anything... I ended up taking home Haruki Murakami's book Absolutely on Music: Conversation with Seiji Ozawa. (Ozawa is my favorite living conductor so I couldn't resist even though Amazon has it for $4 dollars cheaper but I figured heck I want this and I want it now...) Anyway now a days when people chose books over all other forms of activities such as the internet, Facebook or even Yelp....it's always a good thing....

TL;DR - Abhorrent customer service, avoid if you can…read more Went this morning, and the following happened: 1.) Customer service lady at the check out area greeted folks behind me but ignored me. 2.) I was looking for a book and happened to ask another employee for help at the exact time that another elderly lady asked for help. I mentioned she could go first and was ignored by both. 3.) I went to the check out area for help, and while she was checking out, she was also speaking to another employee about random things like the Knick's game, being from New York, etc. etc. while I stood waiting to be helped. I walked around to waste time before returning after the cashier employee was finally free. She asked if I was ready to check out and I replied that I needed help with finding a book. She motioned towards the first employee I had asked help from, and I told her that he had been helping (and still was) an elderly lady for a while. She then told me that the other employee who was still talking to the customer about the Knicks could help. I stood around awkwardly while they continued to talk as it was obvious I was waiting for them to finish so I could ask a question (we were all standing about 5 feet from eachother). After standing for a few minutes, I was done. I returned the books I was ready to purchase back where they came from and proceeded towards the exit. At that point, the customer who had been talking to the employee about the Knicks was leaving, and the cashier lady grabbed the employee's attention by stating, "This young lady needed help with finding a book." I responded, "No, I don't need help, I'm done." and forcibly opened the door, walking out. I overheard the Knicks-obsesssed employee say "Oh my!" or something to that effect as I left. There are too many stores around here for me to pay money for being ignored. Go elsewhere, preferably independent.
