They are so casual and accommodating to everyone! Everyone chats and laughs together. I learned today that they can make a body spray out of ANY scent they sell. They don't put it on the shelf but they will make it while you are there. They have several sizes that will fit any need or budget. My favorite is the Pure Grace. Susan told me, "Start with one spritz". She was right. I put on one spritz this afternoon and I can still smell it 4 hours later ...and counting! It is staying with me like a perfume or oil would. Definitely worth it! I created a great gift basket for my MIL, with all her favorites! I can't wait to give it to her on her 75th birthday! If you haven't been, get going! The setting of this coffee shop is in an old house located right next to the post office. After…read moretaking care of an errand my husband and I popped in here one weekday afternoon for a couple of iced coffees. There are various downstairs rooms a large front porch set up with tables and some comfy seating. The location seemed to be popular with the locals as there were several groups located throughout the house either hanging out socially or working. We ordered from an extremely polite and accommodating barista and she was patient while we perused their long list of various coffee flavor concoctions. Although I don't remember the specific ones we ordered they were both pretty good. Although they do not use Torani brand syrups so the flavors did taste a bit synthetic. There are also a lot of various items for sale throughout the shop. I ended up purchasing a little knitted sock that fits on your broom handle to be used as a duster. For only $4 I felt like it was a cute and unique find. I actually wished I bought a couple more as gifts. If you're looking for a good little coffee place in the area that isn't one of the many big chains definitely give Black Chicken Coffee a try!

Walking in, I was a bit in awe, they truest have a lot to offer, everything from party supplies to home decor, plenty of candy and snack options to please even the pickiest of junk food eaters, they have storage and kitchen items, pet toys and supplies, greeting cards, board games and so much more! I found some nice items including a fall designed glass with a lid and a cross pendant necklace (hope it doesn't turn) for $5 each among other things, for a good price. The lady helped me to sign up to receive points which I love. Nice little shop to stop into from time to time.
