The food was excellent -- very well done burgers and a grilled chicken sandwich well worth the money. The menu isn't expansive, but has plenty of options, including some very neat appetizers such as fried alligator or fried pickles -- which are not shown on the website menu, but were definitely on the in-house menu. They have a lot of different beers on tap, too. Clean restrooms, friendly, knowledgeable wait staff. Definitely will be adding this one to our list of local outliers worthy of a 45 minute expedition.

The shepherds pie was also just ok. It was mostly meat and I don't think it's made with fresh potato (seemed like boxed potatoes). It honestly reminded me of a Stouffers meal. The shepherd's pie was probably the best of the three but that's not saying much as I don't think it's that difficult to make - the mash was ok and the meat component tasted one note. Service was extremely friendly and on point. We were helped right away and checked in on several times, so many kudos to the waitstaff! The overall vibe gave "sleek pub" and felt very cozy as a nice casual hang out spot.
