Went here for dinner with my brother. He's visiting from Minneapolis and we thought it would be nice to sit outside. The noise from the traffic on the freeway made that impossible so we went inside. I ordered a cheese burger and he ordered shrimp tacos. The service was terrible. When our food came we had no napkins and my burger which was beyond well done had no cheese. We were given a roll of paper towels and some cocktail napkins. When I told the waitress about the cheese, she brought me a cold slice of cheese. If I hadn't gone through pub-erty yet, I might not like this place, but I have, so I do. My rating isn't based on their food which is two or three stars, and in fact their prices also are just two or three stars. I would give them five stars for having live music and much of the music is pretty interesting and cool, if a little classic rock oriented, but you have to average in those other things - especially the pricing - and that's why it ends up being 4. But there's not that many cool places for live music around here so it's cool to have this. read more

What a gem. Was looking for a new place to eat lunch and experience Houston. They have a large patio with a pond and some large ugly fish but cool to watch them go crazy about bread being tossed over the edge. Nikki was quick with getting my order in and the food came out so hot I had to let us set for a minute. Such a novel concept. Hot food. The surprise I got was they honor our veterans. Even the general manager came out to thank me for my service. This place has an open area bar and a stage for outdoor music if that ever becomes the norm again. Love this place. read more

I also ordered 4 lbs of Crawfish, which was also a BIG mistake. First they tried to upsell me by paying "an extra $1 for the "BIG" ones/LB, I'm glad I didn't order them bc ALL of the BIG ones were dead when they were cooked bc it was mushy! Gonna have to give this place a miss. I honestly don't like to diss on any specific group of people, but this establishment has been turning into a biker bar. Bikers, sometimes extremely large men, scowling, and "don't fuck with me motherfucker" attitudes. Was there recently and there was an event going on, very crowded, very loud. Should have turned around and said "let's make it another day" but I'd been trying to get bf to take me all week so what the hey. It's a place I like right? The drinks. They weren't just small, they were tiny. And watered down. Mine were, bf was drinking beers with a shot of whisky so he was getting well oiled. Things took a bad turn when a biker tried to pick a fight with him. Despite being sloshed, bf was clearly confused because he had no idea why the guy was mad at him, but was apologetic nonetheless. Still, packed up and made an exit as soon as we could. It was surreal. We came around the night time, definitely a older age group type of vibe so i didn't fit in like i wanted to but that wasn't what made me not come back there. I was here for a little Rodeo related get together due to it being conveniently located near where people lived. The $7 fish and chips special was pretty good, and worth the price. We also got the chips and salsa thanks to a Yelp Check in offer. The salsa is quite spicy so watch out for it. Overall it was alright and the staff was pretty friendly. Went with family and friend to have crawfish and listen to the band. It turned into a cluster f.... as soon as we got there. My son and fiancé got there early and ordered beers while they waited for us. When we got there we ordered a bucket of beer and the waitress told us that she needed a credit card to hold. I gave her the credit card that I use to hold tabs, reservations, etc(I keep a small available balance on it for a specific reason). She also asked my son for his. I told her that I was getting their tab. Good thing because next thing I know, I get a message from my credit card company that a charge was done on my card. She came back & I asked her why she charged the card when she told me that she was just holding it and her explanation made no sense. This was strike one. Three of us ordered 2 lbs of crawfish each(separately). An order of crawfish came out and it went to my son. The other food ordered came and went to my husband & daughter in law to be. My husband's French fries looked like they had been sitting out for awhile, compared to the other orders I saw coming out. My friend and I sat there waiting and the waitress came out and said that the kitchen had messed up and had put all six pounds on one tray and that she had empty trays for us to use. In other words eat from my son's tray, which did not look like it held the six pounds we had ordered(2 lbs each & separately) and who had already had his food for awhile. My friend told her that since the kitchen had messed up that they needed to bring us the remaining separate 4 lbs. She brought two trays and let me tell you, those trays did not hold 2 lbs each. The crawfish was blah and over cooked. A lot of them were so mushy, they couldn't be eaten. Strike two. We listened to the band, Not the Rachels, which was very good. Time to check out. My friend paid cash and she was shorted, it was only by a dollar but still, why? Strike three. I understand that some things the wait staff cannot control but it was a bad experience from the get go and I don't think we will be back. We have been there before and like the food and wait staff is not the greatest. One thing we wanted to point out. It was actually amusing trying to figure out what she was wearing. She was wearing see through leggings and wearing a thong. I know that children are allowed and don't think that was appropriate wear for a family friendly restaurant. This was probably one of the worst restaurant experience I have ever had the displeasure to deal with. I took some clients here for a few drinks and dinner after a meeting and ended up having a nightmare of an experience as my client ended up biting down on screw in her philly egg roll!!!! This screw was about 1 1/2 inches long!!! How does that even happen. The response by management was not up to par of what it needed to be as this could of severely debilitated my client. Our meal was comped and I am appreciative of that but the apologies were half hearted and not made directly to her. I can see why this place has 2 1/2 stars and it makes me sick to my stomach as it makes me call into question the quality of the rest of their food!!! We got back our receipt but didn't noticed the waitress hadn't brought the card back. My gf called the next day and they said they'd have it. It is now Thursday and after getting the run around the remainder of the week about some bs story about them losing it while rearranging registers they had misplaced it and we would need to call back when the manager was in. Finally today they say they've lost it. Unless you want to be surrounded by middle aged people who want to wallow in their sorrows- go somewhere else maybe even slick willies or just ...somewhere who won't lose your shit read more
