Acupuncture is extremely helpful in treating a variety of health issues. I went in with classic symptoms of pernicious anemia (severe ataxia, neuropathy in legs, hands, feet; brain fog,) and was told, literally and quote, "This is not a medical problem" because it was totally ignorant of the fact that when someone is supplementing B12 but NOT absorbing it, it will show up in the serum, with a false high B12 "result." I eventually tested intrinsic factor antibodies myself (independent lab test) and found out they were high. High intrinsic factor antibodies result is diagnostic for pernicious anemia. I now have permanent neurological damage from lack of treatment. I now inject B12, which is what the condition requires. So -- if you have a condition that can't be fixed with supplements, don't go here.
