They spoke directly to my girls, ensuring they understood and had the opportunity to ask any questions or voice concerns. ***NOT A MILITARY FRIENDLY DENTIST*** ***BEWARE OF SCAMMERS* This has been the most terrible experience I've had as far as billing with a dental service. I am in the Air Force and my husband took my daughter to this dentist. He called and asked if they took United Concordia, and they confirmed twice (once in the phone and once in person) that they took United Concordia. All went well the first visit for a cleaning, no copay, and he went on his way. Leading up to my daughter getting a procedure for caps, everything seemed fine until I started the process of making claims with the insurance. There were many holes in Old Pueblo's story as to why we were getting charged so much, and I called United Concordia two weeks after the procedure was done as to why my claims were denied. United Concordia explained that Old Pueblo never sent in a preauthorization for the procedure to the insurance. Moving forward, to try and put two and two together, I had United Concordia and Old Pueblo on a 3 way call. Before reaching Old Pueblo for the conference call, United Concordia was explaining right off the bat that neither the anesthesiologist nor Old Pueblo were part of the network as of 2018... to my big surprise! And since they didn't send a preauthorization, the insurance wasn't given the chance to say that the procedure they performed was NOT covered by insurance. Finally, we get Old Pueblo on the phone, and they try to claim that my husband knew that they weren't part of the network and said he signed off on it. Let me tell you, if he knew then there would be no way that he would've used them. And since they claim we knew that, then it was up to us to send the preauthorization. We were NEVER sent a preauthorization to begin with to even be able to send it to insurance! The first time we saw that document was when I was asking the insurance why we didn't get approved, and them telling me they never received the document from the dentist, so I requested it from the dentist to send myself. Later on my husband and I start looking through the documentation, it clearly states that Arizona Dental isn't part of the network, but says nothing about Old Pueblo Dental, and clearly states they are two separate entities. This business LIES just to get the money out of people. I get legal advice saying to just try and work out the payment and never go back because it's not worth going to court for since the fees would be more than the total. So I call and try to set up a payment arrangement WILLINGLY trying to negotiate, and they will not accept a smaller payment plan. I just get hung up on instead. It's absolutely terrible that this dental office is expecting to take 1/4 of someone's paycheck and charge double than what we were originally quoted simply because they didn't tell the truth since the very beginning. Then they claim that "they aren't a financial institution", so they won't work with me on a more lenient payment plan. LESSONS LEARNED OLD PUEBLO, ya really played me. read more

Im a current patient here under the new owners- Dr Rasmussen and Dr Eliason. I really enjoyed my visit. I called to make my appointment one week out and they were able to accommodate my scheduling needs. The staff was friendly and the office was clean and cozy. They offered me sunglasses during the cleaning and a warm lavender scented face wipe to refresh my face afterward. They have beautiful calming views out the bay windows of the mountains surrounding Tucson. Its a convenient location to find with a vibrant sign right out front which is easy to spot from the road. Dr. Hubrich is really the closest thing I have to a family doctor. I don't go to a physician on a regular basis, but I get my teeth cleaned twice a year every year. I have been going to Dr. Hubrich since 2001 or so when he used to work for Dental Net (TUSD dental). He has since branched out into his own practice. Professionally, I trust everything this man tells me about my teeth. I once made the mistake of going to another dentist, who made most mechanics look like saints. He has a great touch and has never once hurt my mouth while doing work. He removed two wisdom teeth in 30 minutes, I was completely healed within a week, eating solid food two days after the surgery. Personally, he picks up our conversation right were we left off six months prior. Sure he make take notes as a reminder, but it doesn't matter to me. Nice guy, great staff, great stories to tell while picking the gunk out of your teeth. I emphatically recommend Dr. Hubrich, every experience I have had with him in 7 years has showed me no wrong. read more

Both Dr Hubrichs are the real deal when it comes to being great dentists. While I have only seen Dr Raymond, I have heard from friends with kids that Dr Niloofar is excellent too. And their support staff is exemplary also. From Delilah in reception to Jackie taking xrays and Jolene doing the teeth cleaning, I always felt cared for, cared about and well taken care of. Same is true for Dr Raymond --- he assured me my teeth were in good shape and set my mind at ease with his professional and knowledgeable demeanor. Dr. Niloofar Hubrich was a success with our child. Our son has some developmental delays and is very shy in most situations. We originally had our son see her when he was 3, but because of the distance we had tried to take our 8 year old son to many N.W. Tucson dentist. He was resistant to ALL of them. We gave in made an appointment and traveled the distance. She was able to get him to allow her to clean his teeth. I am so excited and will no longer take him anywhere else!!! read more

He has been my family doctor for several years now and I have been consistently impressed with his demeanor, knowledge, state of the art equipment, patience, work and flexibility. Hubrich dental is the best dental office I've ever been to. We've been going here since 2006 and now our kids go too. Everyone at the office is super friendly and they remember who we are. It's like going to visit friends. Dr Raymond (adult dentist) is super friendly and conservative in his approach. Only does invasive work if absolutely necessary. I have a tooth that we've been watching for years instead of jumping to fill it immediately. Dr Niloofar (kids dentist) is awesome too! She's so goofy with the kids and really makes it fun for them. My kids were excited for me to go to my appointment because they liked theirs so much. Could not recommend a dentist office more. We actually moved away from Tucson & came back and this is the only doctor's office we came back to. We were so excited to be in their care again! read more

I am a student and I was disappointed in the lack of transparency and service regarding insurance and billing. Before my appointment, I called twice to confirm my specific dental insurance would cover my cleaning, and I was told it would. At my appointment, I asked for only work (including x-rays) that would be covered by insurance, and the hygienist agreed, but at the end of the appointment, I found it I had to pay a large bill, not even half of which was covered by insurance. The x-rays they took were also not covered, even though I asked the hygienist not to do any work that wasn't covered. I was disappointed that no one communicated these charges to me after I had clearly asked about the coverage and shared my insurance information before the appointment. In addition, services were not exceptional enough to justify the bill. It was such a disappointment to be charged $150 out of pocket for a simple cleaning, even with dental insurance that (according to the staff) was in network. In addition, the dentists changed and we were never notified until the appointment, when we arrived and were unsure whether we were still at the right dentist. I cannot recommend. read more

My daughter Lily turned 4 and was scared of the dentist. I knew she had a cavity but wasn't sure how bad it was. Picking the right dentist was stressful but I had two moms tell me that I should see Dr. Hubrich at Hubrich Dental. I was more nervous than Lily at the first appointment. I was shocked and proud of how well she did. The doctor and her assistant amazed me! I cannot explain it, you just have to experience it. I thought I was in a Disney movie. They made going to the dentist seem SO fun. They let her look at play with the tools so that she would not be afraid on having them in her mouth. They were very upbeat and comical. Once Lily had their trust she sat very still as they cleaned her teeth. She even allowed them to take x-rays of all her teeth (that's the hard part they say). Come to find out, she had a very serious cavity. They quoted me a fair price on the crown and we scheduled it for the following week. The next week came and Lily was actually excited to go back to the dentist. They ended up just filling the large cavity even though I approved a crown. I was thankful for their integrity and them looking out for my expenses. Hands down they are the best dentist for children. Her husband is the dentist for adults and I plan to make an appointment with him for my teeth. I love the family owed atmosphere and they back office staff had great communication with me.
