What a wonderful place…read more This review is for all the people who are afraid of going to a public dentist, especially to a learner dentist at a public dental school. I didn't have the money to get my wisdom teeth out, and had to go the public health services route. I am so glad I did! I hopped in the chair and was attended to a student who was not only hot (which was admittedly weird; nobody wants a hot stranger rummaging around in their mouth before at least one good boozy date) but also the most friendly, positive and focused of any dentists I've been to. He was incredibly gentle too and I felt no pain after the first anaesthetic jabs. They suck but they are about the same amount of pain as having blood taken from your arm. A lot of my friends have chosen to have the full anaesthetic while having their teeth extracted. Maybe if you need all four removed at the same time, you might choose that. (I only needed two removed). But I really want to tell you that even for someone like me, who gets shaky at the mere thought of dentists, it is much less painful than you'd imagine. So if you are waiting, quaking in your boots, for some pimply-faced dental student to do a little shop of horrors number on your face, take a deep breath and relax. These guys are being taught so well, both in 'customer service' (otherwise known as being a nice human being) and in dentistry. They'll leave you smiling!

I suggest considering gold filament for behind your top and bottom teeth after the braces are taken off, as it really enhances your smile. My teeth remain perfectly straight, and I am very grateful.

You inspire me to work hard, and maybe one day I can make a difference to the Adelaide community, like what you are doing everyday. For the sake of readers of Yelp, I might as well reveal the the best dentist I've ever had in Adelaide, accompanied by some of the best staff I've ever encountered. After 17 years of not being able to afford braces, and suffering from extremely crooked teeth throughout my schooling years, meeting Dr Laparidis is truly life changing. Thanks to him, now I am able to flash my perfect, straight, pearly whites and say "My Mum's workmates highly recommended you." New visitors will rejoice at how organised his receptionists are. For all the years I've visited there, Georgia and the other receptionists have been so friendly in all their conversations with me. My essential personal information is stored via their computer, important files, x-rays, bills printed out and given to me quickly, payment records accurate (there has never been any incorrect data) and kept safe, and them always saying my first name out loud very clearly before each appointment, gave me a lot of confidence in them. Dr. Laparidis and his staff made me feel very comfortable, even with that massive brace gear shoved all around my gums...It is a Universal fact that getting braces for the first time is going to be an uncomfortable experience, but everytime he works on my teeth, he makes it as pain-free as possible. He gained my trust and belief after the first appointment. Just by reading his aura, I knew he was amazing at his job. I could tell from his great smile, highly energetic and warm greeting, and extremely fast performance (he gets even the most complicated dental tasks done so quickly in less than 5 minutes!). Awesome new gym (or anti gym)!…read more The HIIT Centre is like a new home away from home. The trainers are friendly and motivating and everyone that goes is super friendly and encouraging. The training is unlike anything you've seen (or experienced) before. Sleds and battle ropes combined with traditional sprints and burpees. Everyone of all skill and fitness levels can do it and the trainers are always there to help you out. Best of all, this type of training puts your body into fat burning mode like no other! This is the seemingly bigger and busier Radiology centre of the two Adelaide Radiology locations,…read morebut like its counterpart, its car parking and entering is complex. The car park is at the rear, turning left off South Road before it. If you park elsewhere nearby, having missed the turn, the entrance and reception is right around the back near that car park. Once inside, things are all efficient and friendly. I had an appointment but showed up early, and they processed and fit me in, did the procedure all before the time my appointment was actually scheduled for. I'd also taken probably longer than others, as I hadn't had breakfast and almost fainted. I am not sure whether it truly was or not, but the room to me seemed a bit airless and warm. It wasn't boiling, but I assume they make it that temperature because people are in the room largely in the altogether whilst being examined. To remedy my almost-faint they let me lie down for a bit, said I didn't have to have a big injection that day if I didn't want to, and gave me some cookies. After the lie down and the cookies I perked up enough to have the big injection which did not hurt anywhere near as much as they said it would (or perhaps I thought it would). Both the person who gave me an ultrasound and the doctor who gave me an injection were absolutely professional and at all times I felt safe and secure.

I was surprised by the thorough questionnaire I had to complete prior to my first visit, but persevered. In my particular case I required X-ray which I had and then the treatments started. All I can say is "amazing". I felt better after that first visit and then got more better from there (yes, more better). Stuart talked me through the whole process and I now have appointments at least every 3 months if not when I think I need one. Everyone is friendly and helpful and thorough. My family go here and I have recommended Stuart to anyone that will listen. Stuart is not preferred by my insurance company but I don't care. If I didn't have insurance I would still go here.

They certainly should but any excuse to keep our hard earned money in their hands they will endeavour to find Nevertheless the service I received during a very busy day was outstanding. Since my problem was orthopaedic and there is a Sports Injury / Orthopaedic Clinic on site when I was eventually seen by the ED doctor I was quickly referred to the right folk. Again this is a busy place and not all the patients were as tolerant as they should be. Regardless all the staff were kind, courteous, compassionate and professional. The clinical education and treatment was outstanding. So if you have $380 and want top quality care it's worth the cost. But do be nice to the staff. And remember they will be patients there alot sicker than you.
