My barber was a very pleasant woman named O.. She did exactly what I asked. I told her I liked my last haircut by another barber shop so just take one inch off of it and that is just what she did. I forgot to tell her that my last barber had actually cut one side a little shorter than the other side. So after a couple of days I noticed the same problem. This barbershop is an absolute hidden gem! The inside is extremely unique, they situate the chairs to where you can look at two big screen televisions with various programming on that helps pass the time unlike other barbershop where you stare at the mirror the whole time. They also use air blowers to blow the hair off both your self, your clothes and the floor which is totally cool and I've never seen that done at any other barbershop and it was overly effective. Now the nice lady who cut my hair will be cutting my hair for a very long time. She did an absolute knockout job and my wife actually said "wow that looks amazing!" Her name is Oht, pronounced "hot" and is crazy talented. She was not only diligent and meticulous but the hot shave cream and straight edge on the neck and hot towel is such a fantastic touch!! I have used the services of this barbershop atleast 3 or 4 times in total. Each time I go, I am never disappointed with any aspect of the experience. The haircut was quick, not-to-expensive, and pretty good quality-wise. I definitely recommend coming here if you're looking for a good quality mens haircut. I'm in Norcross on business and disparately needed a haircut. I'm not a big fan of those other franchise places or spend $80 at a Spa and Salon. Old School Barbershop is that classic style barber shop you don't see anymore. The shop was clean and chair was comfortable. The haircut took about 15 minutes. Still a fan. Have been going since my first visit back in Feb 2015. Great service. Thorough. Doesn't spend 5 minutes trying to sell me on hair growth cream like other places. That's a bonus right there. Saw some other reviews remarking about how some shops have beer, couches, etc. I've lived in Roswell for 20 years and I can't recall a single place that had any of those amenities, regardless of price. I know of some neighborhood shops in-town where this is the norm. Maybe a playstation or whatever. But not up here. It's the market - and for the market, he charges a good price for a good cut. I walked in and I was in desperate need for a good cut, and Roman took care of me and I was very satisfied with my cut. I just moved to Georgia a month ago, and I had a lady barber who cut my hair. I knew I had to get a new barber and finding one is tough enough. But Roman made sure I was satisfied, showing me the progress of my haircut. He even used scissors which was a nice surprise! He is a great barber but for the price you should get a little more pampering. I was in town on business and saw the great reviews for this shop on Yelp and gave it a shot. I pay the same price at my regular guy in my hometown and get straight razor cut in, hot foam, and a steam towel. There is free ice cold beer on tap, good music, pool tables and deep leather sofas. There is absolutely no comparison with my local barber. This place has very high reviews, I have no idea why. read more

I've been here twice. The first time I was very happy with the cut (extra star for that), but I went again today and now it looks like I could've done the damn cut myself. I had a PICTURE of the haircut I wanted, I literally can't get more specific with what I want than that. And he still chopped off way more than I could've even imagined walking in thinking worst case scenario. My advice to anyone considering going here - if you see a bald guy, run. There are places to get your hair cut and there are barber shops. For those who care about the difference, this is a barber shop. I'm a long-time regular, my two sons, too, as well as any shaggy visitors from out-of-town in need of a shave and haircut. Grow out two days' of stubble and get a shave with a straight razor that will leave your face as smooth as a baby's bottom. Roman and the other barbers will listen or talk or do both or neither, as you prefer. Waiting time has never been a bother. Prices are reasonable and I'd recommend this place over any of six or eight shops I tried before my buddy Mike told me about Roman's five years ago. read more

If it is even remotely feasible to do so, go to this barber shop. I get my hair cut every three weeks here. Roman (in one of the pictures) is the definition of a barber. He is friendly, professional, alert, focused, fast, and skilled. The haircuts he gives are top notch. However, I haven't had any one else cut my hair there yet so I can't speak for them. I'm super happy with how nice it looks every time I come. Your haircut also includes a complimentary straight-razor hot shave for the back of your neck. It's super relaxing and helps keep your cut looking clean longer. Sometimes I almost forget to go in for a haircut because it still looks fresh! I went in on a whim since this is literally .3 miles from my house. They are both very personable and Roman cut my hair just how I wanted, even though this was my first time in. Usually it takes stylist several visits for them to get it right. There was an older lady there who just finished up with the other guy (David, I think) and her hair was fantastic.
