I feel like this place has a lot to offer, and I've only scratched the surface of it. For example,…read moreone of the times I came here there was a Yu-Gi-Oh tournament happening. I'm guessing they probably host a lot of events, which is pretty cool! If you're like me and don't know much about board games, I definitely recommend coming here. I first came here at the advice of my sister, because I wanted to try out board games for the first time. They have a shelf filled with games specifically meant for customers to try out for free. Thanks to these playing a few of these games, I discovered that I like co-op games the most. The thing I love most about this place is that they have a full service cafe. They offer a variety of coffee and tea choices, and they even come up with their own custom drink recipes. Definitely ask the staff for one of their personal recommendations. The best part is that their drinks are super affordable. Seriously, skip Starbucks for sure and come here instead for your daily dose of caffeine. Staff is friendly!

We're a pokemon family and Matt made a point to keep an eye out for the cards we were searching for. 2nd & Charles was an amazing... bookstore (?) I guess that I would call it a bookstore, but they do…read moreso much more than sell books! They sell guitars, vinyl records, graphic tee shirts, stuffed animals, assorted Legos, and my favorite, the mystery boxes! What I particularly enjoyed about 2nd & Charles was that they had all of the new titles and bestsellers, as well as a large collection of eclectic and vintage books that you could check out and peruse. They also offered you the opportunity to sell and trade books that you've finished, and had a section of books that were "lightly used" and highly recommended from previous readers. In addition, although I don't play video games myself, they had a nice collection of video games that were brought in from previous users, as well as a humorous assortment of t-shirts and office supplies that are sure to break the monotony of a regular office space. To conclude, 2nd & Charles was such a fun and unique store, which offered a dynamic combination of new and used books, music supplies, video games, and a range of other interesting miscellaneous items. I'm so glad that I stopped in, and while I don't really see myself becoming a "regular", I'll definitely be back in the future, and would recommend that anybody stop in if they're looking for a change of pace and exciting shopping opportunity!

If you're a huge fan of merchandise for books or shows? Definitely check this spot out!…read more There's multiple of rows of used and new books, cd's, vinyl's, blind boxes and etc! It was so cool to see the many options we have to look and decide from. My favorite part was the books and the merch as well as and the vinyls! Seeing products from tote bags to bookmarks to even fanart being sold was so cool to see. The selection felt endless!!!

When we made our trip to Columbia, one of the places I didn't know we were going to stop in was Cosmic rays! Cosmic rays specializes in a lot of things, including video games, toys but most importantly, comics! They have a nice selection of comics and being surrounded by them brought back nostalgia. My gf wanted to buy some comics for a friend since we were in the area, and rather than tell her what I thought, we picked the brain of staff, who were super cool about listening to what she was looking for, and came with recommendations that were right in line with what she wanted. Super friendly staff who were happy to let us casually peruse, and ultimately we walked away with a comic featuring AOC (a comic she couldn't walk away from). Located off of Devine st, there is limited parking right in front of the shop, but we didn't have a problem finding a spot, nor did we see the lot full each time we passed the area. Friendly staff, located on a main road, and filled with lots of entertainment from games to movies to comics, if you or someone you know wants to get into some adventures, come check Cosmic Rays out!

Great selection of video games for such small store (it's so small you may hit someone standing beside the door :P) Also has some hard-to-find games for all kinds of systems. Some of the games seemed to be a tad overpriced (knowing the value of most games). Final Fantasy VIII on the PlayStation 1, was marked at $25. Should be 10 bucks less. Nonetheless, the games seemed to all be in clean condition. I have never met this owner, Rachel before, but if I come back, I hope she is over there. Go Gaming is a nifty little store that carries all of your geeky, gaming needs. Greenwood residents should be lucky they can buy retro video games!

Rachel (hope I spelled her name correctly) was absolutely wonderful. The biggest problem I face when shopping was the lack of a welcoming environment. She was instantly warm and genuine. This location, though physically not very large, had a great selection of games, equipment and nostalgia. I would recommend this store to anyone with children who want to purchase a game or to parents looking to find a gift. The prices are fair to say the least, and Rachel's knowledge of her inventory was impressive. She really seems to be invested into her store and her customers' happiness. I am very happy I stopped by after purchasing some candles at the neighboring shop. Thank you Rachel for a wonderful experience and I hope that your business finds greats success!
