[956] 7/19/2019 This Old Time Photo shop is located in the Boardwalk shops on the Wildwood boardwalk. Each time we visit this Old Time Photo shop in Wildwood I've had a god experience. The mall is air conditioned so it makes adding on extra clothes a treat especially during the summer. The staff was friendly and patient with my 10 year old as he picked clothes and background. The staff takes about 75 pictures to choose from.... We felt zero pressure to buy more then one which added to our positive experience. The picture was $25 and the frame (border .. Wanted sign" was an additional $15 which you have to get to make the picture cooler. There is an additional charge if you have more then one person in the pic. All in all the price was very fair. Loved this place! They chose the outfits for us and we changed and started taking pictures near the bank, poker table and the bar. Felt very comfortable and it's very fun to do if you bring a long a friend with you! Definitely will come here again with my friends. read more

So, there is two old time photo shops on the boardwalk. I am unsure which one this one is for... there is one that it connected with the aquarium/paintball, which is absolutely horrible. My fiancé and I took our 3 kids to get pictures done, and they were such in a rush to get us in and out. I knew I wasn't going to like the pictures they took, which I told them that immediately after they were done. They made me look at them and all the kids were so far apart. I asked for them to do them again, which they called the manager out. The manager gave me a hard time that I didn't like them, then offered to retake them. I agreed. We went back to get the clothes back on the kids, which my one son was giving us a hard time. We were parenting our kids and said "damn" directly to them and the manager came out saying how tonight is not a good night for the pictures and maybe another time. (Who is she to tell us how to parent our children? They weren't in harms way) we ended up not getting pictures. Two days later, I went to the other old time photo which is on the other side directly across from the ignorant lady's shop. I worked with Ben which the pictures his shop took were absolutely amazing!!! So many poses, different scenes, it was truly SO hard to pick just one. (Ended up picking 3!) was a bit more than the other store, but you get what you pay for. The customer service was amazing & they knew exactly what to do! So fast with positions! I used.them before and they are second only to Hershey. I suggest you go when they just open I left once I saw wet underarm shirts yuck so like my tip says bring disinfectant spray. read more

We went yesterday and asked when they opened because we had 37 people and wanted to plan. Got everyone there by 10:30 opening and sat for 22 minutes waiting. They never showed up so we went down the boards. $622 later we were done. Might want to come to work when you say you're open next time. read more

We had a large group (about 15 adults and 5 children/ toddlers) yesterday to get a group picture. There are a lot of Old Time Photo shops on the boardwalk and I showed up to meet the family at the wrong shop. This one also has a paint ball shooting thing alongside it and mini golf behind it. It is on the opposite side of the boardwalk from the piers and just before Mariners pier if you are walking from Morey's pier in the direction of Mariners. There is a pretty large men's and women's dressing area in the back but you do walk through the men's area to get to the women's. There were a number of people in the dressing rooms that assisted us with getting ready and gave us a number of clothing options. The dressing part was rather painless and they give you a basket to place your belongings so that they are not left unsecured in the fitting areas. They also have some small lockers. The photographer was great and also had a couple helpers that kept the little ones focused and entertained. As for children, we had two under the age of 2, a 4 year old, a 5 year old and an 11 year old. The photographer was successful in getting a few photos with everyone's eyes open and everyone, including the little ones, all looking straight ahead. We also had fun with the props which included boas, guns, and whiskey bottles. We got 12 8x10 photos for about $260. The hardest part was getting our large group to decide on a couple of the many photos that were taken. You get to review them on a nice size screen to pick out the pictures that you want. And for noon on the 4th of July, they weren't busy other than our large group. The only thing I wish they had were mirrors in the dressing room. Inside the boardwalk mall. My daughter wanted to do a photo with her best friend and researched the best place on the boardwalk and found this place to be it. Her work paid off. Great staff. Very thoughtful, fun and professional. And their product was impressive for such a short time duration between dress up, set up, photos and finishing and printing. Two thumbs up. Do not go to this place it is highway robbery. The only reason I am giving them one star is because the pictures they took of my family came out great but they asked me to pick a few I liked out of the 78 images I picked about 13 and he told me it would be $899!! Unbelievable for print outs I ended up getting all of the images on a SIM card for over $200 which was still way more than I wanted to spend. read more

Very nice employees who were very helpful. They even dressed us. As a pro photographer on the side I can say that they did a good job and the pic of my friends and I in 1920's gangster outfits came out spectacular. read more
