It was done in a clean way, they are a pleasure to work with and they asked all of the important questions to make sure that they installed it just as we would want. The price quoted was extremely reasonable. We paid 1/2 up front and the balance after installation. I am completely satisfied. We now may change the backsplash. They don't supply the tile which we will have to purchase after living with the new granite. If we decide to change the backsplash also, they will certainly be the ones to remove what we have and install the new. I hired fixit countertop to fix a crack in the granite behind my kitchen faucet. They diagnosed the…read moreproblem correctly and closed up the crack. Much of the repair was cosmetically well done, but there was a chunk (about 1 cubic inch) of granite at the corner of the sink on the underside that came loose during the repair that they replaced with a clear epoxy. A week later the epoxy had not hardened, and I called the company to come back and resolve the issue. They said, the clear substance was the "glue that was added as a precaution to fill a void, and for whatever reason didn't get the hardener mixed in. This void fill will not affect the structural integrity." They said they did not have availability for several weeks to take a look and in the meantime, I would have to decide whether to reinstall my kitchen sink over the goopy epoxy that might or might not cause a crack at some point in the future, or go without a sink for weeks while waiting. They assured me that it was fine to put in the sink, but I expected them to come resolve the issue promptly that was caused by their employee failing to add the hardener to the epoxy. Poor customer service in my opinion.
