The restaurant we were going to that night was also across the street from the park and we wanted to see the best route to take from our hotel to this area, hence hanging out in the park for a little bit. The park has a lot of amenities, including areas you can rent out for large parties. There are courts for games like pickleball and a nice open grassy space. The playground is very cute and kids of all ages would probably love to play on the sets. There is a nice looking bathroom but unfortunately, they close for the winter, beginning on October 1st.

There's mountain views from every angle, wildlife, super relaxing hot springs, a water park, lots of little shops and restaurants, and a lovely river running through it all! We came for a short family vacation during spring break March 2023 specifically to visit the hot springs and it's SO worth it! We even saw wild turkeys walking around haha! The hot springs are perfect for winter! But they also have winter sports available too. In summer they have a water park and even have tubing along the small rapids on the Portneuf River that runs through town. The town is small but has several dining options and cafes and shops - plenty of choice to keep you happy. The people were warm, welcoming and so friendly. My son lives in Salt Lake City and it's not too long of a drive to get here - they come here often so I'm sure I'll be back! Highly recommend!

My experience with them has shown me dedicated professionals working hard to assist this community. I retired from the medical industry some years ago and I would be hard-pressed to suggest any great changes for the way things run at the St Anthony facility. I have never seen anyone there behave in a way that was unkind or unprofessional. They need more staff. This is the cry of such facilities everywhere.

I would say the only drawback was that there is not air conditioning. While this was not an issue for us because the weather was cooler (it was in June) and we could open our windows, I could see it being a problem if there was a heat wave or later in the summer.
